After all these years watching this show, I can finally say Rebecca is the only expert that I like coming out of it. Not because she is beautiful although she is one but because she is the only one that seems honest and fair.

For anything of significant value, why would anybody sell to a pawn shop?? With just a bit of research you could find a buyer who will pay 2X what the pawn shop gives you. For lower value items i could understand since the loss selling to pawn shop would be less than the loss of time & energy finding a different buyer but as i said for high dollar items no way i'd sell to pawn.
I would’ve said 1,700 but that’s not bad because let’s say worse case scenario he only gets 2,000 for it a year later, literally waited a year for 400 dollar return. But best case scenario he gets 4,000 & made 2,400 profit. It’s a gamble like Vegas
Why do people sell these rare priceless objects for cash they end up spending in a week? Like 1600 Dollars is not a lot of money that's not life changing that's like one months rent in some places.
Let me call someone who has nothing better to do but wait for my calls to come and check stuff out and who'll be here in a couple minutes so this cant be staged or set up 😉
There are counter examples. Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining and 1971 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory are two movies that are arguably better than their source material.

I mean...the books are still pretty good, and the first one is by far the best. I agree the last couple of seasons ruined the TV series and made the first few seasons virtually unwatchable, but that doesn't really alter the quality of the books.
Last season as far as the white walkers and zombies go, Game of thrones dropped in value for me, those were some very bad episodes that made me not buy the collection as a whole.

The hype right now has gone completely south to what it was 2 years ago. Which is a pity.
Because the last season killed the hype.
First rule of negotiating. You have to be willing to walk away, seems like no one on pawn stars ever is
I would imagine not all of the transactions go through
The last season was so bad no one wants to collect this stuff anymore.
