The skinny girl you see walking on the sidewalk while the guys are trying to holler at her from the car is Jada Pinkett Smith. Her and Tupac were best friends since high school and he put her in this music video. He also gave her first movie role in Menace to Society when he told the directors he wanted his homegirl in the movie
If ever there was an easy A to be made in a college class! I would’ve loved to take that course. I could’ve passed off of first hand knowledge and memory of the 90’s alone.
I was born in 85. I was blessed to grew up being able to listen to his music as he released it. No one in hop hop can come close to him. Tupac was so unique and ahead of his time. He is and will always be the GOAT
I don’t care, but Tupac is the greatest of all. There is no rapper like him. He can make you cry he can make you laugh he can make you mad. You don’t hear 2Pac you feel 2Pac and honestly Biggie Smalls ain’t got nothing on him.
Tupac’s incredible but nobody can top Eminem….he can do all this too. Hailey’s song which is a song to his daughter about when he is dead and gone? I love Tupac but Eminem is the GOAT
When he speaking on his son, he actually speaking on the kids that’s growing up in the ghetto. If Mia was coming in the 90’s to actually see Tupac and how he move she would’ve been hurt on his passing. The best poet/rapper ever. RIP 2Pac Thug Life
I just watched this video yesterday. When I saw it on my screen I thought it was from yesterday and it took me a second to realize it was Mia reacting to it
I’m NY born and raised 36 yrs old grew up with a single mom, so I 100% know the struggle and agree with Tupac in this song. And trust me when I tell you this generation is so soft. It makes me sick to see what these men have become now or days. A real man never runs from his family and always treat a woman with the upmost respect 🫡. Iv seen men come and go being raised my a single mother and how they treated her and in a way it was a blessing for me cause I wanna be the best father I can be if and when I have kids
Pac was a revolutionary he was too much of a threat to the powers that be, had he been alive he's goal was to bring the east coast and west coast together he would have done amazing things, when he's all eyes on me album got released i remember driving around London in the summer in my sports car windows down sunroof open blasting 2 pac full volume, great memories 💿🎵🎼🔊😊
You definitely have to listen to Dear Mama after this one. But you are speaking the truth about this generation being soft, and only care about themselves. I am glad I’m a 90s baby! 34
I have been listening to Tupac since I was 10 years old in 2002. I still haven't gotten over him. As someone who grew up with a single mother, this one is special.
Man, that second verse doe 😪 LOVED the reaction. If you can Mia, could you consider reacting to some of Tupac’s interviews he’s done. He’s an amazing speaker. I believe you’d enjoy seeing that side of Pac.
Another classic reaction to a classic song. What I love about your reactions is your understanding of the messages given. Thank God for Women like you in this New Generation!
Tupac is Michael Jackson in hip-hop he has over 1. 6 billion fans around the world he still the biggest rapper in the world I’ll read this in the magazine in UK London
That right love.. I from uk 🇬🇧 Tupac is so big in uk his music is everywhere here. He the only usa rapper we love. He still the biggest rapper in the world 🌎. 2nd is Eminem Please reaction Tupac - letter to my unborn child ❤️❤️
I've been waiting for this one even more than *(Dear Mama)* both of which have *NO Curse words* but still glad your doing Explicit versions even though some *2Pac* songs have *NO Curse Words* & people don't notice
I was so happy watching you watch this. I was devastated when he passed and to this day wonder how much more he would've changed the world as he got older and evolved.
While watching these are a guilty pleasure, my line of work wouldn't have guys do stuff like watch these videos. That said I remember a neighbor who operates a 250 ton crane (I train and license people to operate those cranes and about 50 other things), had an anime ringtone so maybe it is different these days lol. But my wife is a decade younger than me, we have a bunch of kids and the money I am on with the work I do, lets her stay at home and look after the home and kids. Which to me is the most important job between the two of us because she makes the family love rich while I make the money to enable us to do it like the old days.
2Pac had a lot of positive messages. Love it and him. Most men and most women are different, and 2Pac was acutely aware of that. Men have an important role, and it's different from the traditional female role. The world now focuses on emotion and appearances instead of what IS. The really good things in the world are ancient, simple, and profound.
That's Jada Pinkett Smith at the beginning walking while they are trying to talk to her. 2pac and her are friends from high school back when he lived in Baltimore before moving to the west coast.
I am from the same school as Tupac, stand for all he stands for, and I want to say how much I appreciate you for showing interest in and keeping the spirit alive
You are amazing...and watching you feel and understand pac is so deep 4 me...I have a passion 4 words and I lived through the 90s era...stuck in it still...keep exploring pac...GREATEST OF ALL TIME
Too many women today one DIY men! Women think they can make a man into the man they want. Tupac was just wrapping about a problem that’s been going on for years.😍🎶
Pac makes references in his music to scenarios he didn’t actually go through, because he looked at himself as someone who was reporting what was going on in the neighborhoods he lived in, as a reporter of the hood. Some of the experiences he rapped about were things where someone he knew went through it. When he references his son, he’s talking about any young black male. Pac is one of the greatest story tellers of all time.
Yeah. Similar to when he said 'I blame my mother for turning my brother into a crack baby' It wasn't about his actual brother. I think he was talking about how we are all responsible for the youth.
In the 1950's I believe that 85% of black house holds had fathers in the home which produced structure. Now, it's down to 25%, also this younger generation now are being raised by culture not the their parents, so whatever is trendy that's what they emulate. I was a teen when this song was popular (dated myself there, ignore that) and it became an anthem for women, and those that were down trodden and it inspired to young men to step up. Nice reaction ✨️💯
Sampled ‘Oooh Child’ by The Five Stair Steps of the 70’s. The ‘tryin to make a dollar out of 15 cent’ is a bar the Shock G dropped in a Digital Underground video, which PAC was a member of. Very honest reaction, well done!👍🏾
i grew up with these morals and respect for women. tupac was for sure ahead of his time, such more than a ''rapper''. oh and again, you're so BEAUTIFUL. ugh. lolll
I am 60, I feel you on the Softness.. I on the other hand feel really bad for you kids because all you know is War and Fighting and the Ugliness times have become.. I came up in the 60s and 70s, the 80s were a blast and the rise of anger came in the 90s, it was well heard in the music that was put out.. Tupac was the Truth!
You’ve been listening to rap music a lot now, so you have to know it’s a introspective of yours friends and the world around you is how the rap artist speaks. They live in the inner cities and poverty, and single parent families, crime, shootings, drug abuse and dealing etc. You don’t have to do any of these things in this environment but it’s a part of every day life.Tupac wrote poetry about it and it feels real because of the hurt, pain, and despair struggle brings.
Thank you mia for reacting to one of my favorites, California love and keep ya head up ✔️ I can't wait for you to try and react to to live and die in LA, dear mama me against the world
If Pac was still alive, these modern idols wouldn't be glorified. Notice the time, you had to step your game up in rap during this era. You actually had to have an original thought and a vocabulary to back it up.
I think you are spot on about the generation & about how the women reject the standards of being traditional, but still want the benefits of traditional women.
Tupac was ripe for a young man of his age, he was only 21-22 years old at the time when he wrote this song. We are still heartbroken over such a waste! Could I suggest you some documentaries such as: "2pac resurrection" (in English ), "Who killed 2pac?" (Karl Zéro facts), and finally, "pac the truth about his political message" on Musicfeeling tv. The last two are in French, however you can activate the English translation. Believe me, these three documents describe the character perfectly. Hi!
Mia 2 Pac is a Legend. Legends never die. You don't listen Tupac you feeling Tupac. 2PAC FOREVER. I have been listen Tupac since 1995. Greetings from Poland
Like Pac once said in an interview, we've forgotten our roles as people. The men have forgotten their role as a man therefore the woman have forgotten their roles as women. Speaking of that interview you should check it out. Tupac Lost vibe Interview. Great reaction
Thank you for another Pac reaction ! I will keep saying it almost 30 years since his death which is crazy to think about. PAC was the poet for the people he wasn't perfect but he spoke what is really going on perfectly.
What rap song could can compare to this song alone? He was the true goat! He spoke the heart and wanted people to feel and understand what was going on in poor neighborhoods. He said “I may not be able to change it. But if I keep talking about how dirty it is someone will clean it up.”
2Pac was a master lyricist with his rhymes 👊🏻💯 🎶 (among other things). There’s a role reversal from the men/women from my generation (Gen X, having full blown families and having the traditional jobs such as doctors, lawyers, engineers, firefighters, police officers, military men , and etc) to today’s generation (career driven women, “Me” generation, and etc). A lot of men/women were having children out of wedlock, so I was seeing the abuse of the welfare system during the 90’s as well.
Well you just like the rest of us now. You fell in love with this man. I was like 8 when this song came out and when I first listened to him it was it for the rest of em. 😝 😂
For the comment regarding talking about his kids, hes referencing the future yourh as his kids. He knew his music would be timeless. So he was speaking to the future youth. Also, he always talked about death and him dying soon. That was one of the major reasons why he didnt wanna have kids. He grew up without a father and didnt want his seed to grow up without one as well And to your comment about the youth today lacking maturity, i can relate. Im in my mid to late 20s with an old school mentality, and talking to most guys around my age, makes my young nephews look like college professors. I usually have convos with ppl in their 30s n 40s. Most of em tell me how im very mature for my age
Well Mia, Men of my generation are quite baffled by some of our younger men today...and the ladies too! There is a lot of soul searching for all to unpack, socially, politically, spiritually and financially. These are just a few of the causes of divorce rates being what they are...Maturity comes with growth and responsibility by both men and women. I pray for my sons and am proud they are responsible and well respected. I believe Tupac sent a strong almost prophetic warning message with respect for women here. This could not be more obvious when he paid tribute to his own mother in "Dear Mama". I hear your frustration in this generation of relationships and responsibilities. Be Blessed and Stay Blessed!
Youre so right about.people raising their kids too soft these days. I'm a lil older...45....tbh I think this soft parenting and the whole "there are no losers, everyone gets a trophy" approach is responsible for youth suicide explosion. Kids are stripped of learning constructive criticism in their developing years. Then when they reach adolescence....hardest years for many people...and someone rains on their parade they don't know how to take it. Love the channel btw. It's always great to see people from your generation appreciate the golden age of hip-hop. 2Pac songs I can't recommend enough. 1.Pain 2. Death Around the Corner 3. Thug Passion/Rather Be Your N.I.G.G.A.
They took Pac from us. I cried for him even though he was a stranger. Like literally sobbed like a baby. I will never forget the moment I found out. I was at the Grand Rapids Job Corps Center. Hanging with a friend there and we saw the news on the big screen. A lot of us screamed and cried. Like what just happened? Now I am in my 40's and I understand that he was taken from us because he was different. In my opinion the beef is a cover up. I appreciate your outlook. I keep talking about how the younger generation is so soft but good to see you think this way and hope there are many more that feel this way because your generation is the generation that my Alpha will be answering to in the workplace and being taught by in sports and college.
I have nothing but love for Tupac if people understand his anger he was angry cuz people was treating him wrong and he was trying to do right by them he lost his life trying to do the right thing😢😢
*I love that you finally did this one, I knew you'd love it. Now I wish you would use your keyboard instead of your mouse, every time yo move your mouse the video go dim, Your keyboard SpaceBar will Pause & UnPause while your Arrows will advance or rewind the video 5-10 sec every time you press the Arrow*
Tupacs music was far a head of it's time. He's not just the greatest rapper of all time. But one of the greatest artists of all time!!! That man was a fucking poet with his lyrics!
He was too honest and direct for this world.
This why he is considered the greatest of all time he was wayy ahead of his time
so so true
Blows my mind that Tupac was 20 or 21 when he released this song. His maturity and intelligence was uncomparable, still my GOAT
its literally insane

Maturity started early in those days now it’s a give me give me
His mother was a black panther

Awesome reaction one his best songs
I listen to this song with my daughter and my son a lot.
I have nothing but love for Tupac if people understand his anger he was angry cuz people was treating him wrong and he was trying to do right by them he lost his life trying to do the right thing😢😢

Tupacs music was far a head of it's time. He's not just the greatest rapper of all time. But one of the greatest artists of all time!!! That man was a fucking poet with his lyrics!
It’s still hard to believe he was only 25 when he left this world. RIP to the 🐐
