  • We have reviewed Sonax Cut Max, EX 04 06 and Perfect Finish. Now we complete the Sonax correction system with Sonax Cut and finish. This would be the medium cut compound in 3 polish systems.I have two videos captured on the product. this ...the first, will test its cut, finish and overall performance. Let's get to it and put it through the Apex Detail review process!

Autogeek should pay you. Almost every product you go across I end up buying mostly from autogeek they seem to have the best prices. Anyway I just got done getting cut Max , sonax 4/6 ex? I think it's called and a bottle of its perfect finish. With these products added to my Arsenal I should be good for a while lol next week I will be ordering them low-lit microfiber pads. thanks again. without you going over these products I would be buying them blind so I do appreciate it!!!!

Brian how about instead of straight lines on the test panel how about hash/crisscross to see how the compound performs. Of course since you've performed so many, this would a 1 of test to to compare to all the ones you've done. I only mentioned because on another channel it was mentioned. My bet is the skillset is the presiding factor..thx

That is why I take it out into the shop for a second video doing real world work. those scratches are natural. I keep the testing the same to tell these products apart from one another.

GOTCHA Brian! From what I`ve viewed here on your channel...talent here is outstanding and no matter which direction scratches are on a panel you can figure a way for perfection! Cheers!

Hello Brian! Old video, but I’m hoping you see this anyway. I’m debating between the Cut & Finish and the Perfect Finish each w/ the yellow Rupes pads for a one-step on an Audi with Glacier White Metallic paint. Which would you go for? Thank you!

    • @SirPhilMcCrackinVonBeggington

Yellow pad on.. DA? Rotary? You haven't specified. Assuming its a rotary/DA then cut and finish for sure. My experience with the Cut and Finish and a yellow pad is going to be really good for removing oxidation and swirls. I wasn't able to remove anything deeper than swirls and oxidation with my two random orbitals and yellow pads. If you have scratches you need to get out, I'd highly recommend investing in a microfiber pad for the extra cut.

I am inclined to agree. What kind of pads did you use though? I find that this stuff does NOT cut even with yellow foam pads. It's great at cleaning up oxidation and swirls though. I have not yet tried it with a microfiber pad, which I think is the key for getting it to cut.
