You may have herd of The Nashville Sound™
Now get ready for The Plainfeild Noise™
*aggressively plucks banjo*
The Plainfield Noise sounds like some kind of MySpace Deathcore band.
The Plainfield Ghoul would approve.
Nashville noises
-Me who lives in Nashville-
You’re the most American Norwegian person ever.
lonesome_blue no he's norwegian - just watch his black metal video
@Frogtown Road I would like your comment but then it wouldn’t be 711!!! Consider this a like
Agree, this is literally Ben Heck musician edition
When you’re a folk musician but you want to be Tru Kvlt.
TRVE FVLK
@@thephantompines I wanna here Black Folk lol
@MadmanChris49, try The Bridge City Sinners.
@@Madchris8828 The White Plague by Deadwork kinda fits that description
Trve Følk. his song get me to like the genre "murderfolk"
"Some of the songs have a Black Metal feel. But unlike Black Metal, its good." I absolutely love this.
THE KAZOO IS BACK
Fun fact: That was just a template for an actual guitar solo, but Andri got lazy and kept the kazoo.
@@Pagefire hey, if it works, it works
Epic
"It's the 21st century. Children don't dream." There's not a context to take that statement in that isn't at least mildly uncomfortable.
As usual, you start off going "Let's make terrible music" and then continue to make great music. I actually really enjoyed it. Also love how you snuck some real advice in there.
These guys are genuinely impressive.
He seemed to view this sub-genre as legit, though.
“I play the shot gun🤠” got me dead😂
Cause you got hit with the shotgun?
Someone in my band knows how to play the blicky and had too much fun..
@@hayosh9309 blicky?
Shotgun plays a similar role to the cannons in the 1812 overture: Emphasis.
I play dirt. Both the racing game and the earth material.
Can someone teach me how to play shotgun?
Easy you pull the trigger kurt Cobain,Dead were famous shotgun players
@@user-nr1gd8dr9r damn beat me to it!
Step one: Point
Step 2: Schüt
Step C: Pop your shoulder back into place
Step Sigma: Repeat until song over
Fun fact: Ed Gein wasn't technically a serial killer by definition. His main shtick was robbing Graves and doing disturbing things with the body parts. The more you know.
Fun creative stuff like arts and crafts
The nipple belt is my favorite creation of his.
@@graysonjd5624 Me personally, I'm still trying to figure out what he used the shoebox full of labia for.
Devin Boone beef jerky has never been my thing either, so maybe he found a substitute?
@@BootsThaRareBirb what didn't he use them for? Ancient Chinese remedy, great for heartburn and arthritis, balances blood sugar and even regrows balding spots.
Do the most superior metal genre: "Symphonic postapocolyptic raindeer-grinding Christ-abusing extreme war pagen finnoscandian metal"
@Larry Brickmond....sounds like something that’ll make my head spin

Check out Valhalleluia by Nanowar of Steel.... I think it may fit.
I see you're a man of culture as well¨
Fuck yes i love that movie hevi reissu (in english heavy trip)
And now I'm listening to the entire Bridge City Sinners discography...
I just love, how they make these videos as a joke, but in the end, it become unironically good music
Upd: I've just found one orphographic mistake, corrected it, and lost like from Pagefire. Well, sad things happen
Sounds like murderfolk song material
"Its the 21st century, Children don't dream!" - Pagefire
PS. I about spit my drink when you said that.
your videos are the most wholesome tutorials to make shitty amazing music,i started watching pagefire as a metal hating noisepunk with severe addictions and now at least i know that metal sucks and i've got a shit ton of lyrics to my head, also with your videos i started to make music again cuz i was in a dbeat band(what else) then i changed country and now i;ve downloaded reaper and ezdrummer and they run on my shitty pc, thank u pagefire for your wholesome content i would really love to support u on patreon but im poor af i live from playing on the street so i give u a ghost hug instead
He did it... He actually did it... THE COWBELL IS JUST RIGHT
I'm super excited for this. Harley Poe is from my home town. My old band opened for them one time. Huge fan.
That is most excellent!
That's less than a couple hours from me. I didn't realize it until several years of listening to them. Great songs.
A man of culture wearing Soos’ “?” Shirt
I hate premieres because now I’m really excited for tomorrow and am truly hyped for this
The hyped paid off - this was fucking brilliant
Didn't expect the Dog Fashion Disco reference there, but I'm not complaining
I know right?! I was just thinking at the beginning at the video; damn, this guy would might love DFD, and then BAMM, there it is.
Yes! Listen to Dog Fashion Disco and Polkadot Cadaver, peeps.
The recommended Bridge City Sinners song under this video made it so much funnier
I discovered a tv show called "mountain monsters" I imagine that dudes singing about Big Foot, shotguns and dead wifes, so murican
Great show lol
Wild Bill is my favourite dude there, but i think that others just ignore him and F for Trapper who died.
It would be amazing if u do Midwest Emo, I would love to see some twinkly stuff

The pagefire bois rockin the Lemmy stache here. Amazing
this hook is actually amazing
the song actually feel emotional
“You know what’s on my mind? MURDER!!” Love the reference
"Shut up Adachi." - Ryotaro Dojima
Andri out-does himself every single time he makes a song. "Deviant" is an absolute jam
Man like 20 minutes ago I didnt even know what this genre was now I'm ready to go to the studio!
Song is class btw
Man, this has to be one of Pagefire's best "How to makes" ever. The visuals and the gags are exceedingly funny and topical, and it's structured and written so well I'm sure to watch it several times. Great work pardners!
Holy shit I did this comment BEFORE I heard the song and saw the video! Fuck me, this is amazing, I want to play it on bass. Any way I can get to tabs or anything? Or a playthrough or something! It's far fucking out, man!
Southern Gothic which was pioneered and brought to common vernacular by JD Wilkes. Along with his music he is a great author. His novel “The Vine That Ate The South” is a must read for indie artist and Appalachian historians and musicians. 16 horsepower, Woven Hand, Doc Boggs, Gid Tanner, etc. Its more of a lifestyle that goes above and beyond just music! Cool video man. I like how you made it funny and light hearted even though their were some heavy subjects.
I’m so glad to see Amigo getting more recognition. He’s a great guy and a fantastic musician.
I'm super here for the Four Horsewomen Dragula season 2 background on your desktop - It pairs nicely with all the Murderfolk coming out of my speakers.
Yay! You're the first to notice. I love that show. -Andri
This makes me so fucking happy. I've been sharing it with my friends and they all say the same thing. "These guys have your number." I'm paraphrasing but damn. Thanks for this. I hope you guys are surrounded by plenty of love and light, in spite of this satire that is a clear personal attack on me!
My ears are f-ing ready

You mentioned Harley Poe. That is really cool I’ve never spoken to anyone who knows him p.s love your how to videos and don’t understand the people who aren’t able to take these videos for what they are: funny, interesting videos
the content warning and subtitles are very welcome features! you guys are great
i listen to a lot of the mentiont bands. but know i will know even more.
I don't generally like folk or country, but by god was that great to listen to. Somehow, ya did it again and made a great song in a genre I've never heard of before. Please, do it again!
I have no one else to thank for introducing me to Folk Punk and Murderfolk but Andri
the p4 Hiimdaisy reference was a suprise i didnt expect here, but that only makes the video even better
What I love about these videos is that the songs you come up with are usually better than what you're satirizing.
Not going to lie, I live in the middle of nowhere. Locally we've had murders related to woodchippers, meth use and burying evidence in manure fields just to name a few. I literally live next door to a kult that dances around campfires and giant crosses.
I also like to play folk music because it is easy.
This might be the perfect genre for me.
I proceeded to look up the Oslo face carver for shits and giggles, and got pictures of a statue of a pissed off toddler.
OMG! The Sonseed "Jesus is my friend" cameo! *lmao*
Now I’m just imagining a Murderfolk sequel to the Rubeus and the Hagrids album.
Masterful use of the kazoo at the point of peak depression. I now cry whenever I hear one playing
Genre tutorial that roasts Ben Shapiro??
You, my dude, are HIGHKEY one of my favorite channels.
Day 170 of asking Pagefire to do Kawaii Metal/Visual Kei.
I need to see Andrei in a big fuck-off X-Japan wig and Siouxsie eyeliner now
Ahh...more weird music styles to make humanity lose faith in itself....I love it!
I'm a happy person who acts like a nihilist
One of my favorite genres, and boiled down to such simple perfection. Keep it going!
In my opinion, this has to be the best song from this series yet, it gives me the chills whenever I listen to it, keep it up, guys!
Probably my favorite song from you guys. nice job and great advice for lyric writing
pagefire writes absolute banger ironically, what a chad
Bravo y'all, last few how to videos you called my brothers out and now you finally got my number. Seriously, I've been watching y'all since the Norwegian black metal video but never once thought y'all would tackle this one. On account most folks don't even know this is a thing. Until I put it on and they asks me to stop scaring people. Been a Those Poor Bastards fan since 07 and, yeah, I did discover them on Myspace. But I'm a Texan who grew up on westerns and horror films, it was bound to happen.
I know the "You know what's on my mind? Murders!" reference. Points for me!
Wow, another banger! Seriously STR8 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘
Your channel has added a lot of "wtf" to the reactions I get to my playlist on shuffle and for that I thank you
I need to thank you for this video. I had already been listening to people like rusty cage and amigo the devil, and to find out this is a whole genre, i had to pause the video and now theres already like 6 new bands im obsessed with. So thank you, truly
Your channel has made me Discover new genres I never heard of and I listen to all different types of Metal and Rock. So thx I guess.
HOLY SHIT !! ive been a fan of you for awhile now and at 00:55 you used a picture of my friend and i! so stoked!
I’ve been waiting on this video so long it’s my favourite genre x
These video's are really fun and the jokes really land most of the time.
Good stuff!
you guys are fantastic.
Yep as per usual the final song is great! Good job guys!
Did not expect to find a persons 4 comic reference in this corner of the internet
I love your videos. Smiled so hard when my clip of amigo popped up.
Thanks man!!
Because of you i discoverered a great new genre to blast beside death metal🤘
you mention Harley Poe and I'm IMMEDIATELY sold
I was looking for the name to my favorite music genre
"music to kill god and leave him to rot in the woods to" doesn't have as good of a ring to it
I freaking love your videos
Captions are a nice touch!
Also, including a Dog Fashion Disco album in your video gives you a guaranteed like from me!
Duuuude I love your vids, they are really cool
man.. u really make my day.. its so hilarious man.. i never stop laughing with all ur content.. its so informative. This is the first time i ever heard about this genre and the way u deliver it.. man.. there's no one elsa can explained it perfectly like the way ur people did.. and that for sure.. u are saving a lot of my time.. there's no need for me to dig more i understand it already crystal clear.. thanks man.. ur people is talented.. all the song that is wrote in all of ur video is all... man.. i cant say more... pure talents.. it was sick man.. Ive been waiting for this video for so long
Its me again
Ive waited so long for this video, and I can't like or subscribe more than once, but with, coincidentally, harley poe and amigo the devil being my 2 favorite bands of all time, I love this video, and all of your other videos on that matter.
Thank you so much man, love the content, and I cant wait for the next video. ❤
Heyy, cudos for mentioning Dog Fashion Disco, they are vastly underrated!
Great video, I think this is one of the best of your "how to make" series!
This song is freaking awesome, again! Keep it up and hopefully make a murderfplk ep or even album!
This made me laugh harder than I thought it would great job guys
"This is the 21st century. Children don't dream".
And that's why there's dark music, folks.
Tony Montana on the Banjo. Just... beautiful.
You inspire me so much
I've listened to the song you wrote at the end on repeat for like 10 solid minutes
Nailed it! That's exactly how and why I write music 🤘
Great vid guys!
Thanks for letting me know about this genre and the playlist. As a big The Dead South fan I wanted more of the same and this was a good fix (just a bit too little banjo). Great job on the song as well.
I fucking love MurderFolk. Thank you for this. I have a feeling psychobilly (Nekromantics and Demented Are A Go...) influenced a lot of these current bands.
Ed Gein was not technically a serial killer. Only killed one person (we know of).
Side note: you posted on the day i finally got to see the film Lords of Chaos. I thought it was a decent film. I don't know the historical accuracy of the film but it was a lot better than I thought it was gonna be.
If you make a t-shirt with the text "This is the 21st Century. Children don't dream!" I will buy it!
That was the smoothest transition ever!
The song is actually awesome as usual 👍
Yes! I'm so excited for this one!
I respectfully request a How to Slam Metal video. Love your channel man
when using the cowbell you must muster the passion of a thousand suns, and play with utmost concentration
Talking about materials for writing lyrics on is definitely a new degree of depth for UA-cam genre tutorials. Pagefire difference, I guess.
it betteh be good god dammet
also thank you for reminding me about ajj
Edit: Not the funniest video but clearly your best song yet. I'd love to hear a full murderfolk/folk punk album by you guys, no joke.
The song is so good!!!!
I've been binging your folk punk song 😂 even found it on spotify.
How did I land here, why is this exactly the music spotify recommends to me, why is the video so perfect?
