You should listen to my favorite song by George. “Something” is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. Also, a more light hearted song with a great video is “I’ve got my mind set on you”. IMO although George had a lot of success, he often doesn’t get the attention he deserves.
Grorge Harrison "Give me love" is a heart warming boost in life awareness. For even if you dont feel any life burdens, all men were born with original sin.
George had a catalogue of songs never reordered with the Beatles as he played second fiddle the Lennon and McCartney. When the Beatles ended George was free and come out with some really incredible music. All the Beatles were geniuses in there own right and we should be so thankful for the music they played together!

George followed a Hindu philosophy. Of note on this song, and all of the other songs on the 3 disc album, he did ALL of the vocals -- and that includes all background singing.

There are Hindu religious references in this song. Vishnu is the preserver god, which means he protects the universe from being destroyed and keeps it going, according to this religion, and he has come to earth in nine forms (called avatars) so far, with one yet to come. His most famous forms are Rama and Krishna. So, This is where George was on his path at that time. Was he a follower? Not really sure. Released in November 1970, "My Sweet Lord" made George Harrison the first of the Beatles to have a solo No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was an appeal for a closer relationship with God. Harrison would need it. From UCR- A few months after its release, Harrison was sued for copyright infringement by the publisher of "He's So Fine," a 1963 hit for the Chiffons. On Aug. 31, 1976, Judge Richard Owen of the United States District Court found Harrison had "subconsciously" copied the Chiffons' tune. Years of appeals and litigation over damages continued until March 1998. "I don't feel guilty or bad about it," wrote Harrison. "In fact, it saved many a heroin addict's life. I know the motive behind writing the song in the first place, and its effect far exceeded the legal hassle." Still and all a great song
At that time he had been involved with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and been to India, read Autobiography of a Yogi. At this time he was into the Hare Krishnas....
@christian miller People like you are repellent, so arrogant thinking your religion is the so-called true one and everyone else is wrong just because it says so in your book of stolen mythology. So many use their faith as an excuse to put others down like the use of "libtard" which shows what an intolerant bigot you are.

George was more spiritual than to be only into one religion or faith - he embraced them all and remained devoted to the Sacred Heart, according to his own words in writing.
Harrison had a way of transporting you with his music... and he still does. Those that were with him when he passed said it was like a flash of light filled the room as he left this earth.

George Harrison: Got My Mind Set On You. Other tunes related to members of the Beatles. You've done at least one Wings song, but there are others: Jet, Silly Love Songs & Live and Let Die. Ringo Starr (Drummer) had some solo hits, but I always liked his cover of Buck Owens Act Naturally, featuring Buck Owens. John Lennon has some beautiful solo work like, Imagine, but one of his sons, Julian Lennon had some great songs in the 80s: Too Late For Goodbyes, Valotte and Say You're Wrong. Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney: Say, Say, Say & The Girl is Mine.
I just found your channel and I'm enjoying your reaction to some very talented and important artists from my youth. Keep it up young man what you're hearing are my memories. Peace to you.
Released in November of 1970, this song bathed the Christmas season with its positive outlook. The extensive radio play assured it to be # 1 for six weeks and it was a hit around the world. Still resonates to this day!
Try “ something” by George... a work of art.. or “here comes the sun” with its complex time signature.. “give me hope” written for his charity gig for the flood victims in Bangladesh.
George Harrison and the Beatles would travel the world and learn about all kinds of religion and sit around in circles getting high while listening to different cultures and religions.....he was more Spiritual and into meditation
Please react to All Those Years Ago by George Harrison. Its his tribute to John Lennon, written after he was murdered. Many years later George himself was attacked with a knife in his own home, luckily he survived this.
This song was the subject of a huge copyright infringement lawsuit that lasted several years. Compare it with Ronnie Mack’s “He’s So Fine” made famous by the Motown trio, The Chiffons.
One of his more obscure, but very clever songs was “That’s The Way It Goes”, Another is his tribute to Smokey Robinson called “Pure Smokey”. His song called “This Song” was in response to his being sued for plagiarizing the song He’s So Fine which contains the same three notes as My Sweet Lord.
I really love that you give such a genuine and honest reaction to the song. You are correct in your assessment. My Sweet Lord, is like my all time favorite! It sings to your soul doesn't it😊

I agree with you this is one of his best songs of all time. Jay Vee you should definitely play this song on your next George Harrison video.
try "Dark Sweet Lady" or "Set on You".
You feel it.....you nailed it right on the head! It's not a song you just listen to. It finds it's way into your soul.
George was a follower of Hinduism
George had a beautiful way of making your soul smile while listening to his 🎵🎶. ❤️🙏🙂
Marikka, George didn't write "Got My Mind..".
Also salt water song from Julian Lennon and hope of deliverance from wings.
Hare Krishna Hare Rama
Great song and great reaction video! Would love you react to ‘Bernadette’ by the Four Tops!
I just found your channel and I'm enjoying your reaction to some very talented and important artists from my youth. Keep it up young man what you're hearing are my memories. Peace to you.
This is my most favourite song of all the Beatles tunes.
Released in November of 1970, this song bathed the Christmas season with its positive outlook. The extensive radio play assured it to be # 1 for six weeks and it was a hit around the world. Still resonates to this day!
Here cames the sun. Or something, is fantastic.
a beautiful rendition of "My Sweet Lord" was was greatly performed by Billy Preston during the 'Concert For George'...a must react and it's live!
Try “ something” by George... a work of art.. or “here comes the sun” with its complex time signature.. “give me hope” written for his charity gig for the flood victims in Bangladesh.
Back in the day, and to this day, George was always my favorite of the group.
George Harrison and the Beatles would travel the world and learn about all kinds of religion and sit around in circles getting high while listening to different cultures and religions.....he was more Spiritual and into meditation
His wife said that when he died the room lit up "like a movie set".
Gemini, you're an idiot.
Hard to believe you’ve never heard this classic. Keep it up 👍🏻
“Something” by The Beatles is another great Harrison song (wrote/sung)
Great tune. Brings back some memories of my grand father's eight-track cassette tape. When I was listening it was 1973-74
This is the highest selling solo song by a Beatle!
This song is 50 years old and I remember the first time I heard it! One of the best and I appreciate your review. Nailed it...
It’s so sad that we lost such a great artist to cancer 😔
"My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison is simply beautiful...
Please react to All Those Years Ago by George Harrison. Its his tribute to John Lennon, written after he was murdered. Many years later George himself was attacked with a knife in his own home, luckily he survived this.
one of the most beautiful songs ever, Love this song & my Lord & I listen to it often RIP George yes Jayvee it does something to your spirit.........
You should listen to Here Comes the Sun..
I love how George slid the Hare Krishna mantra into this song
You should listen to Layla - written about his wife by Eric Clapton
We've all heard it, you clown.
George has the voice of a songbird. He's so in touch with himself. Beautiful spiritual song. Amazing!
✌❤🎶😁
check out "What is Life". It's off the same album.
Beautiful song. Beautiful album. Beautiful soul. RIP George ❤️
What is Life is his best solo work, I think.
I really love that you give such a genuine and honest reaction to the song. You are correct in your assessment. My Sweet Lord, is like my all time favorite! It sings to your soul doesn't it😊
