When Paul played "Band on the Run" aka Stand on the Rug, my Daddy just put his arms around me and held me tight. I can't explain it, but it was such an emotional moment with my Daddy.
The band he was in before the Beatles 😂 that killed me
Everytime I hear this song I think of summer. I remember hearing this song all summer when it came out.
"Venus & Mars/Rock Show." "Magneto & Titanium Man"
Just love the intro to this song. Absolutely gorgeous.. Never dates..

I know that this is a genuine reaction, especially after the before the Beatles bit. I love that
Genuine respect for the song reaction and I loved the enthusiasm! ❤️👍
Cheered up a rainy morning here in Wales 🏴
Paul is the greatest living songwriter...hands down...possibly the greatest ever
One of my all time favorites. When I saw you watched it I couldn’t wait!
check out Silly Love Songs. by Wings.
Aw comon’. I stopped listening once I heard that garbage, same as when Jackson Browne did “ Lawyers in Love”. A miserable bunch of bubble gum music
That’s my favorite! Silly love songs
Tiny purple fishes Runlaughingthruyourfingers - Paul was making a statement with Silly Love Songs; actually a couple of statements. First, it was an answer to John Lennon criticizing Paul for writing “granny music” and silly love songs. It was also Paul saying, “I can make a mindless disco song that everyone will want to dance to”. And then he did and it spent six weeks lodged at No. 1. I doubt he even broke a sweat.
Yes great song 👍
Always loved this so much, was in school back then. 💜🌿
