Liked the heck out of the internationals of that period cause of the cowboy cab. Made higher so your hat didn't scape and fall off. I unbolted one and took parts from each one making it a one of a kind cab. I also took a Diamond T cab and put it on a 95 one ton 4 X 4 frame with air conditioning and sold it to a friend who drove from alaska to his winter home in Texas (I called him a snow bird) and after last frost he returned pulling a texas built trailer and he would grab all sorts of parts from the rust free state. I was lucky on that cab as it had been it a garage all its life and was rust free not one scratch on it and he had it painted the same color as his wife's lipstick and its still on the road, in texas right now. He buys those real fancy trailers for little to nothing and gets full dollar here paying his fuel bill round trip. The parts are all the ones people want and pay good money for, He brought me a K3500 GMC and gave it to me. It had less than fifteen thousand on the speedometer and was a treasure to me so I took the cab off my roll back and put in on these 89 4X4 roller with a 12 valve in it... I had bought the ford roll back from a towing company and used latter new running gear with fresh parts in the cummins engine. My grandson always loved that truck cause I had got a good six speed out of a low mile wreck. I would say one of my prouder moments. After I had lost a lot of my stuff, I told him to move my furniture and clothes to this cabin my brothers cabin (R.i.P. 19) and he was doing so good with things i had given him that he was elated when I gave him title to that truck, complete tire setup with balancer too and one large tool cabinet with the side boxes. complete with all the tools that box could hold, and test equipment including a modus which I never learned to run.
