Peds Onc nurses are by far the most amazing people on this earth. Backstory - my daughter was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in Dec 2020, just one month shy of her 3rd birthday. During her treatment, those nurses were literal angels. The level of compassion they gave to my daughter as well as me and my husband is something I don't think words can express. She had to receive a BMT and we lived out of the hospital for 7 months. Those nurses became our family. We never felt like we were in it alone in the process. You have chosen a field that I don't think you can comprehend the positive impact you will have on Hem-Onc families. Those nurses held our hands, gave us hugs, laughed and cried with us. We will always be forever grateful for their compassion and care!
@@jamienelms1914 so sorry I’m replying to this comment so late, but thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your story! Hope your daughter is doing well, she’s beyond lucky to have you 💛
So incredibly proud of you kiara🥹🥹 I feel so lucky to have followed you through this whole journey and see you end up with your dream job in the end!! You’re a rockstar nurse kiara💗💗
Couldn’t have done this without a friend like you to cheer me on. Love you lots, never forget that I’ll always be your on call nurse if you have a question 🥰
Pediatric oncology unit seems like a mentally difficult place to work at, these poor kids having cancer is heartbreaking 😢 i wish you all the strength necessary to help your patients ❤️
Night shift nurse for 2 years now! Definitely blackout curtains that are THICK and block out all light. I love to use a sunrise alarm clock in combo with my blackout curtains, otherwise it can be super disorienting waking up in totally dark room. Sometimes I go overkill and wear an eye mask too. Love the Olly muscle recovery melatonin gummies (with tart cherry) for the days I'm flipping back and forth. ALSO I know it can be expensive but invest in high quality shoe inserts now, as well as compression socks. Nursing is SO demanding on the body and I ended up dropping a few hundred on shoe inserts about two months into my first job and the back and leg pain I was getting after a 12 just didn't exist anymore.
Woohoo!!! Congrats girl!! 🎉 I started as a new grad in the ER on nights and have worked night shift for a year and a half. I actually really love working night shift. I feel that because you don’t have the typical resources as day shift that the teamwork is better and you become closer with your coworkers. Night shift is also typically less busy (not always the case) so that can help make the transition from student nurse to RN a little easier. Blackout curtains are also a MUST!
I worked as a night shift med-surg/oncology RN for a year and three months as a new grad & I recently got a new job as a day shift neurology/stroke RN! This is such an exciting time for you & I’m so happy for you! Welcome to the nursing world 💞
Can’t wait for all the night shift content!!!!! I love watching Anna’s grwm/vlogs prepping and going through night shifts each week, I know you’ll kill it just the same!
Im a childhood cancer survivor and the nurses made the hospital feel like home and that made me want to be a nurse. I can tell you’re gonna be a great peds oncology nurse!! Can’t wait for you to be a safe place for some kids💞
I’ve been doing physical therapy for 12 years and after working with nurses for so long, I’m now getting my BSN and start an accelerated program in July! After so many years, I’ve always loved acute care, post surgery, and ICU patients. Pediatrics is a given for me, but I always loved the more intense atmospheres. While stressful at times, I always felt like I was helping so much at people’s most vulnerable times. It is, was, and always will be rewarding to me. Yay for all our healthcare heroes!
I'm so proud of you that I may cry. I graduated last year with a placement. Being 7 months into corporate life it's hitting me that this may not be the place for me. I wanna get into some manual activity kind of thing which makes me do loads of physical work cause I feel like it helps me to stay fit. Really praying for that one day to come. Love you Kiara, you inspire me 💜
Geriatric/Palliative Care here. I love your story, your journey and that you are kind enough to share your videos with us. You are fantabulous! Definitely have “ Nurse” personality and character. Keep up the great work and please keep sharing xo
Congratulations!!! 🍾🎉 I work as clinic registration for a breast cancer department and all our patients absolutely love our nurses. We just hired another nurse and it’s so exciting to see how welcoming all the staff are.
The transition to nightshift is a little difficult at first, but it’s really doable! I’ve been a nightshifter for 6 years and it’s my favorite! I would recommend blackout curtains!
Night shift peds nurse in Portland here!!! Welcome to the peds club!! So excited for you! I absolutely love working nights, especially as a new grad. My biggest tip is to avoid extra caffeine and to stay super hydrated. Working nights is just just like being jet lagged constantly. So nap when you can and drink lots of water to help your body adjust!!
Congratulations Kiara!!! It's been so exciting to see you go through your whole journey. I am an RN in Canada, worked on an inpatient surgical unit for 2.5 years and just switched to the OR last month. My advice for new grad you is to take advantage of the time with the preceptor, use it as time to learn and ask tons of questions!!! As someone who has orientated lots of new grads and students, know that you are definitely not expected to know everything!!!! Something else I'm just finally starting to accept - know that it is not your job to fix everyone and to know every little thing that's going to happen to your patients before it does. The human body is unpredictable, and sometimes the warning signs arent there. Sometimes, the warning signs are there, we do everything we can, and it still isn't enough. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself. ❤You will be such a great nurse!
Congrats! Night shift is a lot of fun! When I worked nights, I would get home around 7:45 am and sleep until 12-1(ish) and then get up and work out, do some errands, meal prep, and then go back to sleep for a bit. My hardest part was that I taught myself to sleep in small chunks of time. But, I ended up really liking the shift! My biggest recommendation would be to be kind to yourself while you adjust to the schedule change. Don’t schedule too many things for the first few weeks while you’re making the adjustment! Also, invest in black out curtains and a sleep mask! The sleep mask was such a game changer for me! Wishing you all the best in the transition and with the new job as a whole!
Congratulations Kiara! My first nursing job was in paeds. I started in intensive care but it was too early in my career (I needed to consolidate my training first) so I moved to oncology and orthopaedics. I LOVED paediatric nursing. That led me to primary care nursing, then into hypertension and endocrinology nursing back in a hospital. Now I’m a nurse practitioner. My scope of practice is diabetes education and I work for myself. Night shift is fine if you can sleep when you need to. I found sleeping straight after a shift worked for me, but I know other nurses who preferred to sleep later in the day. It’ll take a while to get used to, so be good to yourself ❤
I'm currently in nursing school; graduating next year! I'm so happy you got your dream nursing job! I want to work NICU, L&D, or Peds (maybe specializing in peds cardiac...). Ultimate goal is to get my Peds/Neonate NP license 🥰🤍🩺
Welcome to the Pedi team🥳🥳 I’m a pedi ER nurse. Biggest piece of advice is never be afraid to ask questions. We’re always learning in Nursing and it’s never bad to ask questions or ask for help 🧡🥳
I'm so happy for you, Kiara! I've been watching your journey since the beginning and it's been so inspirational. I am in the process of applying to graduate school now and I know how stressful it is to be actively working so hard on achieving your goals. I like to think that things always work out the way they should! I can't wait to hear about your first week on the job!!!
Wow! Congratulations, I have a friend who’s kid passed when he was 4 years old of leukemia. I was there the night they disconnected them and I remember thinking…these nurse have to have such a heart for this because this is soooo hard! So congratulations! Here’s to hoping you become the best nurse you can be and those kids need! I went into High risk Labor and Delivery and I wouldn’t have it any other way…I absolutely found my niche and it’s the most rewarding job ever. I had a patient come up to me the other day (on my OT day, a day I really didn’t want to be at work) he came up to me in the elevator and told me “you were my wife’s nurse and you gave us so much hope and now look at my baby, he survived.” The wife had delivered at 24 weeks. That made me ball like a baby but that’s why I became a nurse to be that hope and light for patients. I hope you get stories like that along the way and reinforce your purpose!
I'm so happy for you! As someone who has an autoimmune disease and is still close to my nurses, you'll love it! I have loved following your journey, and I can’t wait for this next part!
Kiara!!!! Congratulations, so excited for you!! I graduated nursing school 2 years ago and I’m a nightshift NICU nurse! I remember feeling so terrified to start on nights because I had never done it before but I promise it’s worth it if it’s in your dream specialty. Definitely stack your shifts so you work 3 nights in a row and have 4 days off to flip back to a normal schedule. Before my first nightshift I’ll try to stay up late the night before and sleep in the next day or even try to take a nap in the afternoon before going in and that always helps! Once you get through the first shift of the week your body usually adjusts for the rest of the stretch! Keep yourself hydrated and rest when you need it, nurse hangovers are so real. And I’ll be honest, the nightshift crew is typically SO fun, you’ll get super close with your coworkers and become such a strong nurse since the resources are often different at night. Put your time in and before you know it you’ll be transitioning to a dayshift position! Can’t wait to see you succeed!!
Kiara!! Congratulations! There is something so challenging yet worth it in waiting for the right opportunity like a job and not comparing yourself to others who might be getting there sooner than yourself. I’m dealing with the same emotions right now as well. I just passed my NCLEX and next up is applying to nursing jobs!! Love your advice and insight always. Proud of you!! ❤❤
Congratulations Kiara!!!!!! I am so dang proud of you for sticking to your passion and getting that dream job. You deserve this so much. I’m SOOOOO excited for the nursing content that is coming. Your future patients and their families are going to be well taken care of and I am over the moon for you on this. Anna H. is amazing and so are you! You can do the things that you want with nursing AND coaching/UA-cam!! Not an RN, but I am an MRI technologist in Seattle. My best advice would be that you will probably have days where you experience imposter syndrome. Golly, I sure did as a new grad. There were days I would drive home and cry from the stress and overwhelming feelings of it. What we do is so important, the mistakes we make can cost another human being their life. And that can be scary… but it makes you good at your job in my opinion. I’ve never let the weight of what we do down, it keeps me constantly checking myself. Making certain every single decision I make is 100% about the patient in my care and for their best interest. The imposter syndrome will fade and one day you will feel so confident and comfortable in your position. Get on a sleep schedule. Meal prep. Have snacks that keep your energy levels up. Do self care when you need to so you are taking care of your own mental health. Especially working in pediatric oncology. You will never forget your 1st patient that passes away. They will all hurt to lose, but there are people you bond with more than others and those ones are hard. I lost one of my all-time favorite patients to cancer in September. It broke my heart, absolutely gutted me. Talk to your fellow friends in healthcare. Because they will get it, we have all been there. Gosh, I think those are all the biggies. If you have anything that you are curious about I am happy to elaborate on any of my own personal experiences for you.
Night shift I feel like allows you to learn more. You don’t have so many people calling you and you have more time to critically think. I’ve done night shift as a cna before and honestly would prefer night shifts as a new grad as well. Definitely recommend getting some black out curtains. What I did before my night shift was go to bed around 1-2am the day before and wake up around 10am to eat and do some things I need to do before work and then go to bed again around 1pm or 2pm and then wake up again around 4-4:30pm. I lived like about 30 minutes away from work and my shift started at 7pm so it gave me enough time to get ready, eat, pack a lunch and anything else I needed to do before work and be there on time. Many people prepare for night shift differently but this is just how I did it. I would say it took me about 2 weeks to get used to. I also recommend, if you can, to request not having island off days for night shift because your day off is essentially just you sleeping and it really messes up your sleep schedule. Hopefully you can request a consistent schedule or pattern!
So excited for you to start your dream job! I’m a new grad peds psych nurse and I love seeing your passion for your speciality because I feel the same way about my kiddos! I graduated a few months after you and loved watching your videos as I was following shortly behind and soaking up any nursing content you’d give us. Go change some lives out there! 🎗️🩺
As an adult, I had the best oncologist nurse ever! She just made my cancer journey bearable. I have a feeling you will be a great pediatrician oncologist nurse.
Congrats!!! My first rotation of my child life internship was hem/onc! I loved it so much! ED is also amazing and that’s where I work now! Child life can be super helpful to new grad nurses so be sure to utilize them!
Congrats, that’s so awesome!! I’m starting nursing school April 3rd 🧡 my dream is to work NICU, but I think I want to start in L&D. The hospital that is my dream hospital is only 5 minutes from my house and I know they have a great residency program for L&D. Can’t wait to start this nursing journey! I binge watched all your videos as I was waiting for my acceptance 😂
I'm still studying, I'm not really going to be a nurse but it's close (where I live, there are still a lot of nurses on the floor) I'm conna be a medical imaging technologist. It's so fun to watch this, because I started with school when you started, I still need to do a year of school (I had a some bumps in the road) But I'm so happy for you and I just can't wait to graduate myself and have my dream job!
Hello Kiara ! I have been working in the pediatric world since I graduated respiratory therapy school. I started off as an acute care therapist and later became an icu therapist and i love my job. My best advice to you is to get master your respiratory assessment. Know when your patient is in need of higher level of care. There are times when i am in the hematology/ oncology floor and my nurse calls me to come and assess a patient. If you ever feel like you need a different opinion or a second set of eyes call the people necessary, that includes your Respiratory therapist. If you have questions ask them. Master down your breath sounds and work of breathing signs. Kids respiratory status can deteriorate faster than adults. But omg congratulations!!! ❤❤❤
Congrats Kiara 💓 I've been a night shift orthopedic surgery nurse for 1.5 years and I've loved it. I definitely wasn't excited for night shift when I started out but looking back, I'm so thankful I had those slower shifts to have the time to learn, ask questions, and become friends with my coworkers! And there are so many opportunities to switch to day shift - especially after 1 year - I'm about to switch a mon-fri pre-op position myself (I miss that daily routine life 😤). My advice would be to never be afraid to ask questions, buy black out curtains, make the most of your days off, and find a sleep routine that works for you (whether it be waking up early and napping later, or staying up late the night before to sleep in as late as possible, or just whatever works for you). I just discovered your channel a few months ago but I can tell you’re a smart girl - you're going to do just fine !!! Peds units are always the most fun, joyful units in the hospital - you're going to love it. Excited for you!! 💌♥
I’ve been a heart and vascular nurse for 2.5 years now and I love it! I worked nights for the first year of that and let me tell you… IT WAS ROUGH. I felt like I had the flu for that entire year. Best advice is to invest in good blackout blinds and curtains for your bedroom. Congrats and best of luck 💕🥳
Congratulations!! I started watching your videos a while ago and have had no regrets! Thank you again for being such an amazing role model to us young viewers ❤️. I’ve always wanted to become a peds nurse so watching your videos give me lots of hope!!
Wow this really warms my heart. I knew the moment you started describing those wonderful nurses during you're interview, that it would be HEM/ONC!! I'm going into the same field as well, and am honored to have watched your journey! 💜💚💜
You and me both got our dream job! I totally agree. If there's one thing I learned from doing interviews, once it's done, you know. The gut feeling will tell you that you got it. I'm excited for 2023 and what it holds in store!!! 💖 sending u all the good wishe, luck, and happiness!
I’ve been a medical icu nurse for 9-10 months! Honestly the best tip I have for you is to just ask questions and trust the process! You will leave work always having a new piece of knowledge or lesson learned that you didn’t have when you walked in. It’s up to you to take those opportunities as a lesson and just learn from them whether they’re good or bad. Enjoy the ride, it will be bumpy, but there’s always people around to support you!
Ok so firstly: CONGRAAAAAATS ❤ I’ve been here for so long and to see all the pieces coming together and the detours it took! Makes me so happy because I can see myself in it. My mom always used to say „detours are good so enjoy the view“. 1. my specialty is going to be cardio thoracic icu 2. your erroneous zones by Dr. WAyne Dyer - either way a great book. Read as much as you can about communicating and never forget that we are used to everything in a hospital. Patients are not. Sometime I feel like hospital staff forgets that. Much love ❤
Yay! I work for a blood cancer charity in the UK (like LLS in the US) and just know you will flourish! The blood cancer community are lucky to have you ❤❤
So happy for you! I started infusions at age 19 but had started treatment at 16 so I stayed in peds and the 5 nurses on my floor helped me become the person I am today. I'm still friends with them on FB (since I'm at a "big girl" hospital now).
Congratulations Kiara, I am so happy for you!!! I am a peds hem/onc nurse in KC. I started as a new grad on my hem/onc floor and have been working there for 2 years on nights, and I still absolutely love it!! Those kids are lucky to have you take care of them, and they are going to change your life in the most special way! I wish you the absolute best!! 💕
So proud of you Kiara!!! Congratulations! You're going to be such a light and joy for these kids and their families! ◡̈ I've been a night shift NICU nurse for almost 15 years now. In my personal experience as well as the experience of being a preceptor for many years starting out on nights was better because it typically is a bit slower paced without all the extra staff/specialties/family around so you can spend more focused time dedicated to learning and reviewing. Its also great to get a handle on your time management which is the most important thing to learn and the hardest to teach!
I found out I got into vet school around the same time you got into nursing school so I really feel like I’ve felt every emotion along with you during this journey! I’ve never been so excited for and proud of a complete stranger before lol 😅 Congratulations 🎉💗
You are seriously the cutest!! I have been watching your videos for the past year and love your positive happy attitude! I love that you got your dream nursing job. I am currently half way through my RN BSN program and I literally have NO IDEA what area of nursing I want to go into and it is stressing me out! lol! It seems like everyone else in my cohort knows where they want to be, but I am so picky and haven't liked any of my clinical rotation areas so far (med surg, CVU, ortho, nicu, icu). I'm hoping it all clicks at some point and I have some direction. Thank you for sharing your journey, and I can't wait to follow your peds journey!
Miss girl, I am forever in awe of you. I love you so much and I cannot wait to see this next chapter. My favorite nurse and mama bear ever. I love you so much, miss Kiara!!
congratulations! it is incredible to see new nurses so pumped and passionate about this field in healthcare. As much as this area of work is challenging, tiresome and has its ups and downs, I love seeing your excitement and how you take it seriously. You are going to be a fantastic peds onc nurse! Thanks for sharing ☺
Congratulations, that’s truly amazing!! I found your channel when you got accepted into nursing school and seeing your journey is inspiring! I graduate from nursing school in May and secured my dream unit in pediatrics! We’re going to make a difference in so many patients and their family’s lives❤️❤️
I ❤the positivity you bring to your videos. You remember to say thank you to us and lift us up. People don't believe I was able to buy a house at age 22 and got promoted to a Director position at age 23. I proved them wrong and I plan on being a CFO or doing really well opening my own business. For some reason, people want me to fail. I've learned one lesson is not to tell people your goals in life for that reason. We are so proud of you and wish you the best of success.
Congratulations to your new job! I’m currently working on an adult haematology unit in south Sweden. I love the fact that we can build relationships with the patients, as they usually require months of treatments. Instead of just caring for a patient for a few days and never seeing them again. I have scheduled some shadowing with OR and anaesthesia, hoping to continue my studies 😊
Hi! Just came across your channel, I love your energy and loving heart! I am currently working as a CMA in OBGYN here in Portland, OR! I am getting my pre reqs done right now and on track to apply for nursing programs winter of 2023! I am interested in staying in this womens care world, so L&D, mother baby, or NICU! So happy for you! I Have worked in adult hemonc for 2 years and i really did love it! YOu will be the best!
I am so so glad to hear you are preaching taking a break after graduating from nursing school!! People need to hear this MORE and everyone wants to start asap. So so goofy we worked to hard to not earn a break. U rock so happy for u!
Congrats! You’ll be such a good peds nurse :) I started peds nights back in September and I try my best to work 2-3 shifts in a row(we get to self schedule) and then before my first shift I have a normal day but nap from 3-5 and then after my last shift I sleep for around 7 hours and have no trouble sleeping that night too because I’m so tired lol. Nights is definitely a transition but I love the shift and the people I work with! Drink lots of water and don’t overdo it on caffeine :)
Congrats Kiara! I knew this day would come, your hard work paid off! Thanks for sharing your journey. Advise: Remember everyone (including the most seasoned professionals) had to start from square one. At the end of the day, you know what you know, and it is wise to always ask for assistance, guidance, and the answers when you don’t know something. Enjoy the process and even on the rough days you are learning and developing professionally and personally! Finally, there is no need for imposter syndrome, since your colleagues know that you are a new grad and this is your first job. In most cases showing compassion to your patients and their families, contributing to your team, and alway maintaining a willingness to learn and grow will open more doors for professional opportunity and relationships. Lastly, develop a least two relationship mentorship relationship with people that genuinely care for and about you, and that will provide diverse perspectives!
So excited for you! I started in adult oncology and moved to the OR. Don’t let that bad interview with the OR scare you. It’s such a great change from the bedside if you’re ever ready to make that move. However oncology will give you a great set of skills to take with you wherever you want to go
So so incredibly proud of you. I have followed you the whole journey and am amazed. You will be wonderful with the kids. So happy for you and you get to stay in your dream city. So excited for you-I wish I could learn to balance all parts of life as you-much older than you and still trying to figure it out. Have mid winter break this week and the weather is not great in Seattle so trying to manifest that. Congrats! Can't wait to hear about it.
Congrats!!!!! So so happy to see how far you’ve come on your path of many achievements 😁😁 and I LOVED your resume- will have to consider it for my own future use. A thousand wishes of amazing luck to you from here onwards 🥰
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉...oh my god I needed this video so much...I recently graduated from my dental school and had most of my clinical rotations during covid so I totally relate to your experiences...so I felt like I had a pep talk with one of my friend...loved it❤️❤️ thankyou kiara
This is such an achievement. So proud of you girl! I'm currently enrolled in an LPN program, also in Portland! I'm loving it so much so far! I'm hoping to do a bridge program to get my RN then I want to be a travel nurse for geriatrics. I began working in a SNIFF and loved every patient in it. I just want to make weekly checkups and help maintain their happiness 😊
congratulations!! All of your tips are SO helpful and you’re giving me hope that I can land my dream jobs in peds right out of school too. You’re going to be amazing!! 💗
Congratulations, Kiara!! It's been such a joy to be able to watch you through this journey. No one is more deserving!! Your patients are going to be so lucky to have you.
Congratulations! So happy you got your preferred specialty. I worked in a major cancer hospital for many years as a nurse and it was a great experience.
Congratulations Kiara!!!! So excited for you!!! I love that you shared about Cam, I didn’t know that. Wohoo 🎉 Way to go Cam!!! I had Cancer at 18 and almost 26 now!! And how amazing to stay PNW, I can’t imagine living anywhere else either
Congratulations on the new position! I’ve been following you on this journey and I am so happy you ended up where your heart had been leading you. I’m currently in my second semester of nursing school and I work in the critical care unit as a CNA and I also work as an extern on the unit. Night shift definitely takes some getting used to but it is also slower paced and you will get to learn a lot more and get used to being a nurse easier I believe. I really enjoy ccu but I am also very interested in aesthetic nursing and would love to do both as I own a salon and that is my other passion.
Congrats! I’m waiting to start my first RN job! I am beyond nervous! It was difficult to find a job! I was sadly turned down by 3 places before I found this place and I was very very sadly turned down by my dream job. But I have my foot in the door, so someday! Although, I have always wanted to dabble in everything to see what is my perfect fit!
So excited for you! You will be an incredible nurse ❤️ I am currently working in an outpatient oncology infusion center and have been since I graduated nursing school last year! Oncology patients are amazing and honestly getting to talk with them is the best part of my day. You will be so overwhelmed with all that there is to do and learn as a new grad but spending as much time talking with and learning from your patients is my best advice. Good luck to you on this new journey !!!
Ahhh congratualtion!! This is so encouraging as I've been watching you for encouragement, motivation, and inspiration. Although I am currently in my first year if undergrad, I know that I want to work in Pediatric Oncology Nursing. I appreciate the honesty and advice while working towards your goals. I wish you nothing but the test in this new chapter
First of all, congratulations Kiara! I’m so proud of you on how hard you’ve work for this job or anything you have share to us. Thank you for having us in your journey and I’m excited to see what’s new to come
Congratulations! So proud of you, cannot wait to keep following along with your journey. I work some night shifts (not as a nurse but just in general) my best advice would be to just try and make your schedule feel as normal as possible, you still need sleep it may feel weird to sleep when everyone else is doing their day and don't feel guilty about having your schedule the way you need it, seeing friends and family will get easier once you get used to the a schedule. Good luck, you've got this.
Congrats on landing a job! I'm finishing up my prerequisites with just one semester to go to apply to an ABSN program as well. I have loved following your journey!

Congratulations Kiara! So excited for you! I think you are going to be an amazing nurse, you have the perfect personality for it!
Thank you so so much ❤️
I'm so proud of you that I may cry.
Thank you for this honesty & advice!
I don't teach ski teams but I do teach ski lessons for the local hill. It is so much fun and I just love it when it "clicks" in my students!
Me too! It’s the best feeling 💛
Ahhh!! PICU/PCICU nurse here, huge congrats to you!!! Those little kiddos are so lucky to have you 🥰🥰🥰
From writing on giant sticky notes planning out your options to landing your dream job YOU DID IT🥳🥳 so proud of you🥹🥹
Congrats, that’s so awesome!!
Congratulations! I think you will do great in that unit. I’m glad I’ve seen your journey from 2019 to now. Awesome.
Congratulations!! Very happy for you and this opportunity seems meant to be! Love your videos! All the best in your new role 😊
Thank you so much!
You and me both got our dream job! I totally agree. If there's one thing I learned from doing interviews, once it's done, you know. The gut feeling will tell you that you got it.
I'm excited for 2023 and what it holds in store!!! 💖 sending u all the good wishe, luck, and happiness!
Congratulations on your new journey wishing you much success 🎉🎉🎉
Could not be prouder of you. You deserve all the goodness coming your way.
Congratulations. I was a new grad last may. I work straight nights by choice and love it! It is very different from day shift but for me it’s great.
1. my specialty is going to be cardio thoracic icu
2. your erroneous zones by Dr.
The blood cancer community are lucky to have you ❤❤
I’m a new grad that just accepted a residency position in peds med surg! 😊
Ahhh huge congrats to you! Peds world for the win!
Congratulations, Kiara! I’m proud of you
Thanks 🥰
Congratulations!!! You’re going to be SUCH a positive influence on the patients you have, and their families ❤️
Ah so happy for you!! I had leukemia when I was 4 years old and absolutely loved the nurses, they made my time in the hospital so much better! 💕
Miss girl, I am forever in awe of you. I love you so much and I cannot wait to see this next chapter. My favorite nurse and mama bear ever. I love you so much, miss Kiara!!
MY HEART MISS EMMA!!!!! I love you so much. This is our year!!!! 💓
congratulations! it is incredible to see new nurses so pumped and passionate about this field in healthcare.
Congrats 🎉❤
Congratulations that’s so awesome 🎉🎉 I’m so happy for you! Have a great first day!
I just got accepted into my university’s nursing program! I start this fall 🥳🥳
@Stella
Layla
to be completely honest I don’t know what you mean by that. I have a lot to learn lol :) But can you elaborate ?
I ❤the positivity you bring to your videos. You remember to say thank you to us and lift us up. People don't believe I was able to buy a house at age 22 and got promoted to a Director position at age 23. I proved them wrong and I plan on being a CFO or doing really well opening my own business. For some reason, people want me to fail. I've learned one lesson is not to tell people your goals in life for that reason. We are so proud of you and wish you the best of success.
Congrats 🥰
Congratulations to your new job!
I’m currently working on an adult haematology unit in south Sweden.
I love the fact that we can build relationships with the patients, as they usually require months of treatments. Instead of just caring for a patient for a few days and never seeing them again.
I have scheduled some shadowing with OR and anaesthesia, hoping to continue my studies 😊
Congratulations 🎉 I’ve been following you for years. So proud of you ❤️
Thank you so much for the support 💕
Congrats!! This is so amazing and I am so happy for you! Can't wait to continue following your journey ❤️
Thank you so much for following along Claire!
Congratulations,!! You can see how happy you are & I wish you much joy in your new job.
Thank you! So far I have been loving it!
I am so so glad to hear you are preaching taking a break after graduating from nursing school!! People need to hear this MORE and everyone wants to start asap. So so goofy we worked to hard to not earn a break. U rock so happy for u!
Congratulations! ♥️❤️. You have worked so hard to become a nurse and getting your dream position is exciting! ❤️.
Tip for nightshift: Keep a schedule especially your sleep schedule. Also, get blackout curtains.
I’M SO PROUD OF YOU!!! So happy to see this all come to fruition for you 💗💗💗
So excited for you!
Congrats! I graduated in August too with my BSN and I am starting my dream job in the NICU in a couple weeks, super excited!
So happy for you and proud of you!! God has an amazing plan for you!! Prayers to everyone God is with you all!!
congratulations!!
Congratulations on your wonderful dream job! Such an accomplishment. My mom was an RN and y’all are angels
Congratulations! So happy you got your preferred specialty. I worked in a major cancer hospital for many years as a nurse and it was a great experience.
So proud of you girly! I am beyond excited to follow along this journey with you!
You got this!
❤❤❤
Couldn't be more excited for you! You have worked tirelessly and deserve this!!!!!!
Thank you so so much for your continued support Karissa! Couldn't have made it this far without your sweet comments and American Girl doll memes 💕
I am literally so THRILLED for you! Amazing. Congrats!
Wohoo, congratulations Nurse Kiara 🎉 can't wait to see this another facet of your life and see you grow and thrive ❤️
Congratulations!! What amazing news!!🎉 Always so exciting when dreams come true!!
Thank you for having us in your journey and I’m excited to see what’s new to come
CONGRATS ❤ I’m so happy for you!!! You are soo incredibly deserving of this and I can’t wait to see this next new chapter of your life unfold 💛💛
Ahh so excited for you to bridge into the next part of your journey! You got this ❤️
