Alex Winter (Bill & Ted, Lost Boys) joins us this week to share his experience of being under the limelight since he was a child, unexpectedly hitting fame with Bill & Teds, and then leaving Hollywood for a much needed sanity break. Alex talks about his enjoyment for acting the lifelong friendships he’s been able to build with costars like Jason Patric and Keanu Reeves. We also talks about growing up with free thinking Bohemian parents, his love for creating documentaries, and burning out in Hollywood.

Lost Boys is a classic and the soundtrack is just as classic!
It might be more dated today.
I love the Lost Boys and The Bill& Ted sound track.
Didn’t they remake it , or something (I know that they had a sequel or two .)?
I still believe 🎷 🎉❤😂
@@Just_some_lady Shirtless Saxophone Man! He looks like he should be in a body building contest instead of singing! 😂😂😂😂😂
Lost Boys is forgotten sometimes in the list of best vampire movies, it deserves to be in the top 5 convo.
The Lost Boys was fantastic! I loved the movie as a kid and still do. It's a dark movie that holds fun. :)
Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies of all time. It’s perfect. I dig the brotherly chemistry of Michael and Sam, it feels legit. Story, production, and the acting is 💯 RIP Corey and Edward Hermann.
That beautiful man. No one talks about Alex as much as they should. Humble when he has the ability to hug the moon. Rosey is the same. Andrew Scott is another one. You all hold that same weird place in my mind.
Atmosphere in Lost Boys is phenomenal.
Awesome 80s movie with a fantastic cast and amazing soundtrack.
The Lost Boys is my most favorite ever ❤️❤️
Still the best vampire movie of the latter twentieth century.
About 15 years ago I read an article saying Alex Winter signed on to direct The Gate remake. Some kind of 3D reboot. I'm sure that idea is history, but that would have been interesting.
Really enjoy you content and i LOVE The Lost Boys, must have seen it at least 50 times, same thind with ''Fright Night 1985'' speaking of, do you think you could have William Ragsdale for guest??That would be AWSOME!!!Thanks again for all your content and please keep icoming!! Happy Holydays
He's such an amazing actor
I went to see lost boys the first weekend it opened. I went to matinee, wound up staying til the last showing. I also was pregnant with my son, had to call a friend to bring me some money for food. But 8 l8ved the movie and the soundtrack! And I did always think 'Marco' was a cutie. Then Bill and Ted, wow, hunky overload.
It’s such an easy film to watch on repeat! Great music, flow, n cast
Lost Boys caught lightning in a bottle and connected with people.
Lost Boys is just as 80s iconic as Goonies and Dirty Dancing !!!
I love the lost boys and Alex Winter.
i remember him in death wish 3 lol
I think the 80's were a special time for movies. I never here people talking about movies they loved as kids from the '70s or '90s. Seems like the '80s movies have a special nostalgia.
In the 70s there's a lot of classic films it was just before our time. I think the 80s came out strong with Blockbuster films and good storylines.
Stacks of awesome movies in the 90s
"First come, First Staked"
I liked him more on Freaked, that’s when he became a favorite for me.
Freaked is a masterpiece
Not sure if you're being serious or sarcastic
Cool
What about because of Dianne Wiest ?!? That would have clued me in right away.
He didn’t have a very big part in the lost boys
Even the cameo parts in that movie were classic though, Timmy Cappello playing the sax, Maria the video store chick, all of it!
Breakout performance
Cry little sister
Thou shall not fall!
No offence why does he have guests he just wants to talk over them
Best film of my childhood
Sad to see him turn into a whiny cry baby... but thats Hollywood
No he isn't!
@@nicolenewsome4863 He cried about leaving twitter and his bit ch ass still on it. Next?
Dude! You're the redneck gigolo! Fuck yeah
