Side Note 📝 after making these myself.
I don’t chop and add the individual items one by one into the blender, and I don’t use water with them individually or drain any water off, as I feel I’m throwing much of the nutrients in that blended veggie water down the drain. Instead I put all the juicy ingredients such as red pepper, jalapeño, zucchini, carrots, etc in the blender first then pile on top the drier ingredients such as flaxseed, spices, seeds/nuts, nutritional yeast, etc, this way I keep all the nutrients from the juice in the blender and if I need additional fluid to help the mixture blend well, I use some lemon juice or water or ACV. It saves time doing all that individual blending, adding water and then draining the water out, but most importantly, it keeps all the nutritional phytonutrients in the mix too!
Great! Thank you so much for sharing!
The purpose of the water, is so that you get a very evenly chopped veggie. There is no reason to throw that water away. Just save it, and use it to hydrate the cracker mixture, and/or even use it in other things. It's hard to get an evenly chopped vegetable when you put them in a processor dry, with no liquid.
@@theozarksjourneytoself-suf5420 but if you put the red bell pepper (and I add some zucchini too) at the bottom of the blender where the blade is) there’s plenty of water from them. That was my point. This is how I make them and they are a great consistency. Which reminds me, I need to make some more!!! Yummy!
Excellent method. Omitting the watery step this way is also means less work for the dehydrator to do so less time and energy to cook out all the water. I find that using a cold press juicer produces an inordinate amount of wonderful fruit and veggie pulp so I'm here just to learn all your secrets for what to add and how to mix together the cracker dough. Dehydrating methodology is also interesting as there seems to be an good number of ways to get to the same end result.
I LOVE this raw bread! I've been making it every weekend for the past several weeks and it's delicious! It's nice to be able to eat a sandwich again. Who knew you could make bread out of veggies 😃I'm loving your videos!!! Thank you so much for sharing! 😋❤
I made this bread yesterday and it turned out so savory and delicious. Best raw bread/cracker recipe I have found so far.
Thank you!
Hi Eva, just want to say Thank you. I am just starting my raw food journey but the one thing I am missing is bread. I made these last night and OMG, they are wonderful. They'll be a staple in my raw kitchen from now on.
Wonderful!
Water in the onions is so smart! I hope it takes out the sting. The raw onions were too much for me when I made a similar raw bread.
I cant wait to make these! Thank You 🙏
Hope you enjoy :)
Thank you beautiful Eva ❤️ I’m going to attempt this recipe tonight 😍
Hope you like it!
OMG, this cracker recipe is the bomb! I used one half cup of nutritional yeast and half the amount of oregano. My grandbaby won’t eat vegetables but is gobbling up these crackers. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!
I made the crackers yesterday and I love the thicker & softer texture❤️💐🙏yeah..your recipes rock, Eva. Thanks so much
Glad you like them! Thank you for your continued support. Means the world.
MANY THANKS! HEALTHY RECIPE! GOD BLESS YOU!
You too :)
These looks amazing, I am doing these next, thank you!
Hope you enjoy!
I really need to try this. Thank you! ❤
You'll love it :)
Thanks for sharing your recipes.
My pleasure 😊
I love your videos so happy I found you 💓
Thank you :)
yummii.will try them for sure.gracias❤️❤️😻
Hope you enjoy! :)))
They look great ! Thank you
Thank you!
Hi Eva, I love your channel, you are so inspiring and these crackers look so delicious that I am finally going to purchase a dehydrator but which to buy? May I ask the kind of dehydrator you are using? 🙏
I made these today! Delicious!!! Instead of nooch, I used 3 vegetable bouillon cubes. Good with vegan cream cheese, hummus and nut butter. I'm going to make a version with green apples, sunflowers seeds, chopped pecans, carrots, jicama, and golden raisins.
Wonderful!
Thank you! 🙏💜
Welcome!
You can juice the veggies and use the pulp.. thanks for sharing
Yes you can! I do that too, sometimes. :)
Those look awesome! Definitely going to make these!!!
Awesome
@@EvaTheRawFoodCoach they are in the dehydrator right now!!!
Wow I hadn't found any good raw crackers recipe, but this one is super delicious. Thank you Eva 💕
Hope you enjoy!
Hello from Ontario Canada. I'm going to try this for sure. Regarding the ground flax...keep in the freezer..lasts longer. Hope it helps. Blessings.
Thank you!
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
Another great video Thankyou
Glad you enjoyed it
Tried this recipe with grated ginger instead of jalapeño. Tasty thank you 🙏 I will be making them regularly
Sounds great!
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Oh yummy I definitely want to try this
I’m new to dehydration and raw foods so thanks for this video
Thank you!!!
:)))
Thank you Eva! Looks awesome and yummy 😋
My pleasure 😊
I love the music!
Thank you :)
Hi Eva! Thank you for this recipe, I really appreciate you. What temperature did you put the dehydrater on?
118 :)))
Wao! I must try this
Yay!
looks Yummy... definitely will try them 😍
Please do! Thank you! :))
Thanks for the cracker recipe. Look great. Can’t wait to try them. May Yahweh bless you.
Thank you! You too! I appreciate you being here. :)))
Thank you for the nice recipe I really want ti try it but can I make it in the oven on low heat?
You could try. Might get a little too dry...
Do you have ti blend the veggies with water? Does that make the bread extra "mushy" or will it turn out the samme if I just chup the veggies or maybe even use juicepulp? LOVE
Try the different methods. I wet chop for its convenience :)
Hi Eva, wondering where do you get the paraflex (sp?) sheet & the utensil you used to spread and score the crackers? Thanks
I'm pretty sure I got it all from the Excalibur company
Can I make a large batch, and freeze them? I made them yesterday, and they were absolutely delicious!
Brilliant recipe
Thanks a lot
Oh these are awesome. I'm trying to eat mostly vegan raw as I'm diabetic and struggling with cooked food.
:)))
I just wet chop all ingredients together. Saves time
Yep!
Hi Eva could ypu tell me please which temperature your you use in the machine?
118 :)
you look amazing and so alive!!
Thank you so much ;)
What’s great about this recipe is that you could also use it as a wrap.
100%
As a wrap, do you blend it all even more after it's chopped to get a better spread thin wrap?
If I don't have a dehydrator, is it possible to cook in the oven very low?
How much nutritional yeast was that? Not listed in the ingredients in the Description box. Also the unit is missing for the oregano. Is that 1/4 _cup_?
the good thing about raw recipes is that you can eye ball it and they're almost always great! Yes, 1/4 cup oregano. Nutritional yeast...if you like the taste of nutritional yeast, do a lot! 1/2 cup?..experiment!
Thanks so much @EVALOVESRAW I don't see ANY instructions on temperature for the dehydrating for over night and after turned over. Is 115 degrees okay or ? Thanks for anyone's help. PS I have a generic Air Fryer Oven that does dehydrating as well, WITH temperature control :-) -Lin
Everything I dehydrate I put the dehydrator at 118 :)))
Thanks for the recipe, I’m going to make it. I’m raw till 4, then eat one vegan meal. I want to think about raw all day, it’s a little overwhelming. Gonna make these crackers though.
You got it :)
Genius!!!
Thank you! :)
I do not have a dehydrator any idea what temp to do this in the oven and how long?
as low as possible
Hello i love your video ! Can you telle me what is your brand machine dehydrator ? Excuse mû English because my first language it s French !
It's an Excallibur Dehydrator. Your English is great! Merci beaucoup! :)
Hello and thanks!! I am brand new to dehydrating, how do I know how to convert times when I notice somebody is using, perhaps as you are in the video of 4 tray Excalibur which I think is 220 Watts and I just purchased a 6 tray dehydrator which is 600 watts
Dehydrators aren't ovens. I wouldn't worry too much. you just dehydrate and check to see if it's dry/dehydrated enough.
Thank you
Nice lady I can't believe U dash away in the sink all this good good blending water! Nice recipe though thanks for sharing with us
LOL! You're so right!!! I do save it sometimes for soup or broth for my family. Thanks for the reminder, it is very good water indeed! Thanks for watching!!!
These crackers are a staple in my raw pantry. However, lately I've been really considering the water and nutrient waste resulting from the wet chop. Could I just use a food processor sans the water with similar results?
Yes, definitely. I also have been saving the water and use it for cooking for my family. I used it for brown rice and soup, so no waste there. :)
Very TannyRaw-inspired, I see. I'm glad to have found your channel.
Thank you so much, Dana! Yes, I love Danny! She's the best! Thank you so much for being here. :)
This recipe looks great but is there any way you can make it in the oven instead of a dehydrator? Thanks
If your oven goes really low you might be able to, otherwise it'll get too dry.
I have made several different raw crackers and these are my FAVORITE now! Making them again this week. I did add the yeast because you said it gave them a cheesy taste and I did not know it was an option you mentioned in a comment. I guessed the size measuring cup you used in the video! 1/2 cup. I am assuming the 1/2 flax seeds in your recipe you shared... are 1/2 cup flax seeds you ground up? They are DELICIOUS! Next time I am leaving out the Jalapeno! I only added 1 Tbs and it was almost too hot for me! :-)
I'm adding jalapeño now, plenty of it! LOL
Hi, Eva, will they turn out ok in the oven at lowest T? i do not have dehydrator
You could always try...
Love your recipe and your bracelet. Wish you could show or share that up close too. 😊
Oh yum 😋
So good
Looks yummy, I wish I knew how long they stay fresh since I would be the only one eating them.
I'd say about a week. Keep 'em in a Tupperware. :)
I make crackers like these and freshness is NEVER an issue because they’re always EATEN within hours of coming out of the dehydrator!
Do you have to refrigerate the crackers? Or do you leave them out on the counter in the Tupperware?
Sound delicious. What temperatures did you dehydrate at for 8 hours and such. Thanks so so much!! I am eager to try them!!
I always dehydrate at 115 and under to keep 'em raw. :)
@@EvaTheRawFoodCoach can you use an oven if you do not have a dehydrator?
@@EvaTheRawFoodCoach Oops, I just asked this question today 07/23/23, lol. Sorry Eva. I should have checked all the comments. Great recipe! AND great suggestion of subs from you and all the comments :-) -Lin
Yum!
:)))
How long in the dehydrator and what temperature?
temperature is always under 116 degrees if you're trying to keep them raw. How long depends on your dehydrator. You can't mess these up. try them periodically until you feel they're done. Mine were in there aprox 10 hours in one side, then flipped and went for another 4 or so
What are you talking about girl, I just thought your hair looked so great🥰
Hello whee did you purchase ur dehydrated thanks
evalovesraw.com/my-favorite-things/
It's on my website. :)
Raw crackers well made are delicious. Yours definitely looks like that. Nothing wrong with your hair at least to me😉thanjs for the share
Thanks for watching!
Hello Eve.
New to your channel and texting
About the crackers. How long in the dehydrator and how many hours?
Depends on your dehydrator. I leave mine until they're done, not too firm for my liking. You can't mess them up, just try after a few hours a little corner. I leave mine in there overnight and then flip for another 4-5 hrs.
Look great, can i use a food processor without the extra water?
Yes, you can try that way too
@@EvaTheRawFoodCoach ended up doing water chopping and turned out great and a lot faster than food processor thank you 🙏 for sharing this recipe
How long will these save if I did a big batch of them please?
About 5-6 days. :)
What temp was your dehydrator ?
115 :)
🙋♀️Hi Eva, 🤩what you did looks delicious, I have some questions: can the juice extractor waste be used to make the cookies? If I don't have a dehydrator, how can I dehydrate the cookies?, the dehydrators that seen in the country I live in are circular in shape, and the ones you show in the video are very expensive. I wish you a nice day 🤗⚘️💚
Yes, you can use the pulp from the juices.
You can try baking at the lowest temperature possible in your over, that could work.
How long do you dehydrate for?
Until they're done. keep trying them. It varied depending on your dehydrator. Mine took about 15 hours
How much nutritional yeast did you add in this recipe? it is not in the list of ingredients.
Looking forward to try this out ! Thanks.
Nutritional yeast isn't something I add every time. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. The crackers come out great either way. I typically eyeball it. Sorry I can't be more specific but I truly don't remember how much I put in! LOL
I noticed that too. Cooking from scratch for over 60 years I tried to guess the size measuring cup she used by her hand. I guessed 1/2 cup and they turned out DELICIOUS! Made a few different ones and these are my favorite so far!!
I would chop veggies in a food processor or shred them manually with a simple grinder instead of using water in the blender because so much of good juices get wasted with drained water!
Yeah, for sure. Or you can use the water too, even drink it!
I’m going to try these!! I just got my dehydrator TODAYYY ! I’m so excited!thank you Eva !
Yay! :)))
all that great water would make a great soup base....
It would!
Have u ever used pumpkin seeds instead of sunflower seeds?
No, I haven't. I fear they might be too chewy. :)
Will I be able to make the crackers without flaxseeds?
I guess you could try?
They look yummy
:)
How much nutritional yeast?
I eye ball it. 1/4 cup? :))) You really can't mess this recipe up
Why the "wet chop" when making the flax crackers? Thanks.
Just easier to chop for ever!
@@EvaTheRawFoodCoach Ok. I just wondered why it all wasn't put in a food processor at the same time and just processed together.
Hi, I am new here, do you take multi vitamin supplements duting vegan raw food diet?
I don't :)
What are you putting them in ? And where can I buy one?
It's a dehydrator. Best thing ever! I have it listed as one of my favorite things on my website. Take a peep;
evalovesraw.com/my-favorite-things/
@@EvaTheRawFoodCoach great suggestions, thank you! I’m so mad I just purchased the Nutribullet instead of the Vitamix 😞, but I will be purchasing the dehydrator this weekend! 😃
I have these in my dehydrator now. Can't wait to have raw avocado toast 😋
Hope you enjoy!
@@EvaTheRawFoodCoach they were so good! The kick from the jalepeno really takes them over the top
If you don't have a dehydrator I imagine you would do this on a low heat oven....
Yes, you could try
Another delicious recipe I have to try! You are so beautiful and youthful looking Eva! May I ask how old you are?
I am 50 :)
I only watch videos we are the ingredients are listed on the front
Good for you
How long do these stay fresh in the fridge?
'Bout a week :)
@@EvaTheRawFoodCoach Thanks!
The crackers look good! 😊
Thanks!
Mmm delicious
😋
Please tell me the ingredients which you have used in this recipe. Because I live in Gujarat
I'm sorry I don't have the ingredients list, this is an older video.
Why don't you just put the carrots and onions in a food processor instead of putting into the vitamix with water?
Less and easy clean up. I like this method better :)
Total babe
Why didn’t you taste them?
LOL They were terrible (insert sarcasm)
So you think she'd still look that gorgeous and classy, crunching crackers, with crumbs all over her face! 😂
Excuse me, but you should have let people know your temperature on the dehydrator , you showed only time.
New people won’t know .
Being detailed on showing people how to make food with a dehydrate , is crucial !!
Excuse me, but there are nicer ways of asking. You're not paying to watch my video, it's my gift to you so a little less rudeness would be very much appreciated.
(temperature on dehydrator varies form one model to the next but generally speaking 120 degrees or under is what keeps the recipe raw)
Now head on over to charm school.
Well THAT wasn't very nice! 😮
mamacita you r looking better and more delisiosa than your crackers, lol
