    Side Note 📝 after making these myself.
    I don’t chop and add the individual items one by one into the blender, and I don’t use water with them individually or drain any water off, as I feel I’m throwing much of the nutrients in that blended veggie water down the drain. Instead I put all the juicy ingredients such as red pepper, jalapeño, zucchini, carrots, etc in the blender first then pile on top the drier ingredients such as flaxseed, spices, seeds/nuts, nutritional yeast, etc, this way I keep all the nutrients from the juice in the blender and if I need additional fluid to help the mixture blend well, I use some lemon juice or water or ACV. It saves time doing all that individual blending, adding water and then draining the water out, but most importantly, it keeps all the nutritional phytonutrients in the mix too!

      The purpose of the water, is so that you get a very evenly chopped veggie. There is no reason to throw that water away. Just save it, and use it to hydrate the cracker mixture, and/or even use it in other things. It's hard to get an evenly chopped vegetable when you put them in a processor dry, with no liquid.

    • @GOzoRAW
      @GOzoRAW Рік тому +9

      @@theozarksjourneytoself-suf5420 but if you put the red bell pepper (and I add some zucchini too) at the bottom of the blender where the blade is) there’s plenty of water from them. That was my point. This is how I make them and they are a great consistency. Which reminds me, I need to make some more!!! Yummy!

      Excellent method. Omitting the watery step this way is also means less work for the dehydrator to do so less time and energy to cook out all the water. I find that using a cold press juicer produces an inordinate amount of wonderful fruit and veggie pulp so I'm here just to learn all your secrets for what to add and how to mix together the cracker dough. Dehydrating methodology is also interesting as there seems to be an good number of ways to get to the same end result.

I did add the yeast because you said it gave them a cheesy taste and I did not know it was an option you mentioned in a comment. I guessed the size measuring cup you used in the video! 1/2 cup. I am assuming the 1/2 flax seeds in your recipe you shared... are 1/2 cup flax seeds you ground up? They are DELICIOUS! Next time I am leaving out the Jalapeno! I only added 1 Tbs and it was almost too hot for me! :-)

      @@EvaTheRawFoodCoach Ok. I just wondered why it all wasn't put in a food processor at the same time and just processed together.

      It's a dehydrator. Best thing ever! I have it listed as one of my favorite things on my website. Take a peep;

      @@EvaTheRawFoodCoach great suggestions, thank you! I’m so mad I just purchased the Nutribullet instead of the Vitamix 😞, but I will be purchasing the dehydrator this weekend! 😃

    If you don't have a dehydrator I imagine you would do this on a low heat oven....

    Excuse me, but you should have let people know your temperature on the dehydrator , you showed only time.
    New people won’t know .
    Being detailed on showing people how to make food with a dehydrate , is crucial !!

    • @EvaTheRawFoodCoach
      @EvaTheRawFoodCoach  Рік тому +1

      Excuse me, but there are nicer ways of asking. You're not paying to watch my video, it's my gift to you so a little less rudeness would be very much appreciated.
      (temperature on dehydrator varies form one model to the next but generally speaking 120 degrees or under is what keeps the recipe raw)
      Now head on over to charm school.
