Truck Sensor is bad. The "Paper Clip" Trick

Truck sensors can be helpful but if they go bad they can screw you up and shut the truck down! If you think you know which truck sensor is bad you can use a paper clip to fix the problem. Truck sensors are more simple than you think, you just need to complete the circuit.

Dont do this with a 3 prong sensor you can damage alot of stuff plus it does not work

The actual coolant itself is what completes the circuit, but yea paperclip, peice of wire, anything metal should work to complete the circuit

I tried this and it caused over 70 fault codes.

Yeah I got a bunch too. Loss of oil pressure light, derate, reduced power , 2 check engine lights and still had the coolant warning lights lol.

I wish you guys paid .75 a mile instead of .50 a mile. Hauling flat deck trailer with the driver choosing standard transmission. 😏
