Wish I could have taken you Mazda 6 to you. I had this light coming up on my Mazda 6 2.2 sky active, took it to Mazda which was a nightmare. They said carbon build up in pipes. changed me over 3k to replace some pipes and other things and had the car for over a month. They said it was fixed. Ended up blowing the turbo apparently back pressure from the exhaust caused the failure.
It's similar to the pipe leading to the pressure sensor upstream the turbine on dci / Renault dacia engins.

Yes I have seen them pipes blocked too and the rubber pipes to split not easy to change on them Renaults

Could you have used a 3mm steel cable attached to a slow speed drill and used that to clear the pipe?
