Are you talking about the tweet at 1:35? That was tweeted was when the game was less than a month old. Also, "BigBalloon" was for sure turned into Horrorboros. "Ghost" threw Toxic mist and was probably scrapped in favor of Flipper-Floppers or Fish Sticks as an area denial boss and also possibly reworked into a Side Order enemy. "Balloon" and "Wheel" we know nothing about what they did. Hard to say they were only scrapped to be used in the next game :V

@@user-wc7dh4vl3r why would they care so much about the perfectionists? Like more than 80% of all Splatoon players are just casual players that like variety and some challenge, hence why so many of them are upset about the lack of content Splatoon 3 has.

I imagine some environmental elements from the cancelled codename 'Underground' play mode could be recycled for the story mode of the next Splatoon game, as I imagine that to involve Salmonids.
I’m going to go on a limb and guess the unused Salmon Run enemies were supposed to be placeholders for the enemy names in Side Order. Something like “Wheel” could be a beta name for the spinning or rolling boss or “balloon” could be referring to the enemy that spits out homing projectiles.
I'm fairly certain Balloon became Horrorboros.

Even though I wouldn’t like it, what if they scrapped a lot of Splatoon three to just put it in four or maybe it will be released after the final fest

I don’t think lost outpost, in its original form, would have worked well as a splat 3 salmon run map
I wished they all happen, especially underground, also I feel like wheel was supposed to be a salmonoid king
I think "wheel" might've been a king salmonid because in the shop theres a wheel-looking sticker named "whirlpool" that looks like nothing in-game... unless its a strange looking fishstick

I would love to have an underground mode for s4 on a better console that could handle more then 50 enemies at once lol
I would been happy to see Ruins of Ark Polaris again, I can almost imagine Borros getting while players are riding the grind rails to blow up the Salmonoid Booyah Bomb. #Splatgangs.

I hope they scrapped the "underground" gamemode for splatoon 4 because salmon run NEEDS a new mode. Also i hope the underground gamemode ties in with the storymode for the next game cuz IMAGINE getting to explore in the water and find where the salmonids come from, almost sorta like octo expansion in a way
The amount of wasted potential Splatoon 3 had in its update cycle is depressing
@@user-wc7dh4vl3rI am aware to some extent, it really sucks as to what happened with this game.

Perhaps Ruins of Ark Polaris could work in the next game by only allowing King Salmonids that work well on the stage to appear. Horroboros would be fine there, but I don’t think Cohozuna would, with the various levels. Megalodontia would be difficult to defeat but could work with the stage. Any new King Salmonids could be made with this stage in mind.

All this does unfortunately is make me want a content extension more.
I also still wish we would’ve gotten ruins of Ark Polaris and lost outpost.

If there is one thing I hope they do before the devs offically close up shop on this game, is to increase either the amount of scales you get per King Salmonid fight, or garantee a King Salmonid fight when someone in your matchmade team has a complete full bar available.
Eventually after the devs leave, it will get harder and harder as time goes on to find teams to run salmon run with through matchmaking. Thats especially true for anyone higher than Eggxecutive 40.
We have already seen this through Splatoon 2, as the salmon run matchmaking in that game ismt what it once was. Increasing the payout seems very logical to me
Seriously the amount of scales we got during BIG Big Run honestly felt like that should be the Normal amount we should get

Sad that they didn’t add it.
Maybe some of the boss salmonids that they also would’ve added would’ve gone well with the underground mode but didn’t work well with normal salmon run or vice versa.
if they made the bonerattle arena inkrails longer and ride rails it would basically be a recreation of ruins of park olaris
it’s sad that we will probably never see these well it’s always hope they will come in splatoon 4 and pretty likely for that game salmon run will still be a mode but probably have some differences just like them in between splatoon 2 salmon run and splatoon 3 salmon run which whenever is salmon run update comes out I am normally very excited since nowadays one of the most I plays the most on is salmon run I hasn’t been into Salmon run since recent times, but when splatoon 4 comes out with salmon run, I’ll be there since the early updates
I loved Ruins of Ark Polaris from Splatoon 2, and I would love to see return.
My friends are coming up with king salmonids and a hole new season, we even sent it to Nintendo but, now I see how you feel about these updates that never happened😢😢 it maybe a last resort but I think we need to sue the Nintendo corporation!

splat3 is already filled with so many new features that im genuinely wondering what else they can do for the next game
Marooner's Bay barely works for certain king salmonids, especially in high-tide😵💫

Salmon Run has to have been the worst treated mode in the game
It doesn't give the same catalog xp as Turf War, meaning you have to play for even longer despite Turf matches being shorter
It took them over a year to add in a majority of the Splatoon 2 SR maps, not even all of them- and 2 years to even add all the old Splatoon 2 SR gear
Work suits weren't expanded on outside of Gloopsuits and recolors
Scales are still basically impossible to get, only giving us the Triumvirate system now at the end of the game's life- and even then, it's done in a way where each king doesn't count as an extra chance for gold or silver scales, it's just the one chance- then they multiply your reward by 3
All those extra things, namely the underground mode being scrapped is such a big let down
And never adding Lost Outpost or Ark Polaris is just lazy, they likely didn't because they were incompatible with King Salmonids, so instead of reworking the maps, they just scrapped them
Egg throwing, king salmonids, and a few new maps are the extent of what we got, I wouldn't count Big Run because that's just like Splatfests, and Eggstra work removes what makes Salmon Run what it is lol
They removed Salmon Run's limited time-ness, but refuse to treat it like it's own fully fledged mode- hopefully that'll be different in the next game
