On the one hand, I'm pretty sure that Shen is one of the few people to ever leave the whirling in rags and head straight to the body, but on the other hand, it's very hard to not immediately get sucked into Plaisance and the whole doomed commercial area quest line. I feel it's such a great introduction to the depth and breadth of the World building and culture of the game.

It's true, this game has some of the best voice acting, and in particular some of the best va direction, of any video game ever made. Not only do all of the characters belong in the game so well and fit so perfectly, but each character feels believable and natural. Sometimes you play a game and the voices are good, but you can tell that it's a voice actor doing a voice. In this game especially, it genuinely feels like each character is just their character being a person living in the world.
Funnily enough after the dev team for disco elysium broke up they joined other studios and now 3 different studios are all working on different spiritual successors to the original. So we won't just get one like it, but three!
i did not expect this from shenpai, this once of a lifetime adventure to be played by her is amazing to think about. The many great moments this game offers to be finally gleamed by another person makes me giddy.
I'm now seeing how even the armor is simbolic of the coalition: Something big, that puts the pain into the next small thing, and the next, and the next.The riples like orders, like consequence. Like an infinitibly masive institution made one, without identity. Armor that takes away all humanity under a white face covering all the little parts. What an amazing f***ing game.

I've watched a bunch of playthroughd of this game and I'm pretty sure, that if I were one of this game's developers, this would be the most perfect start to a playthrough I would hope from a player. She understood everything she needed to, followed the exact tutorial path the game wants the player to follow almost to a t, saw all the nesessary game mechanics and was both intrigued and entertained. If I were a ZA/UM dev in her chat, I'd be crying tears of joy.

Hi, new to your channel, really enjoying your personality and your reactions to this game! Obviously nothing to be done for it with this series, but I really think it'd be great to have a small chat overlay somewhere on screen. I don't think it matters for edited videos where chat interactions are cut out, but with recordings where a streamer is talking to their chat, sometimes at length, you can feel like you're missing out when you don't see the other side of the conversation (especially felt that way during the archipelago/German/kiwi conversation!).
