Yeah and I also think he's pretty good. I think only his singing needs to be better and not because he CAN'T sing but because he often has bad singing moments live. I have bad singing moments too, often for stuff that I usually sing well, and I have to like reajust my posture, loosen up bcs I was tensed in a weird way, warm my voice for a few seconds, find the better placement (of my voice I mean, where my voice sort of "hits" inside my mouth) and try again then. I just assume that professional singers have a way of avoiding needing to do such stuff mid performance lol and have some sort of way of making sure slip ups won't happen during the performance. Like, Jennie's bad singing from that one song where she isn't even dancing cause it's a song without a choreo - it sounds exactly like this sort of thing to me. JYP seems like he has such moments a lot and just rolls with it. In any case he's a well rounded artist through and through, in every aspect, and probably the only thing I can think if where I'd be better than him is having a more pleasant tone to my voice. And who knows if he stepped up his game which I believe he can he might learn to sing in a very pleasant voice and harness that, idk.
He wants to stay relevant but can't accept that his prime is over. Instead of putting his money on this slot for himself, he could've slotted other groups/idols in his company.

Attracting attention is just the first step, and that isn't so difficult, the true art is keeping it (eg by providing something that people actually like). :) And what attracted me here was the celebrities reaction mentioned in the title, not the performance. :) Having seen a few of JYP's performances I tend to avoid more rather than seek it out. Eg I haven't seen "Changed Man" and I don't intend to, the thumbnails were enough to deter rather than attract me.
