Hey thank you guys for tuning in! If you are new please subscribe and check out our Instagram @fasterproms What an EPIC couple of days! I’d like to do more projects like this. However I don’t have the tuning software for this car and am trying to obtain it currently. Make no mistake this isn’t competition for neighbor that’s what the Caprice is and that will be coming together very soon! Fasterproms builds streetcars and yes I’m busting a little bit on Cleetus but all in good fun, you should see us in the shop....so much more to come!!
Looks like everyone was having fun beating themselves silly working away to make things happen. If at first you don't succeed stay up till 4am trying...
I'm so happy what I sent could be put to use!! I hope the car was a blast to work on and I hope you do another Ford in the future. I also hope the radiator made it in 1 piece and you can make some good power in the next video!! Jeremy, you're such a great guy and it was a pleasure to talk to you on the phone. UA-cam is a better place with your channel and your content.
We do not take you fellas for granted. All subscribers including myself thank you for your extra time and passion. Sometimes money is not enuf, but your dedication is not overlooked. I appreciate each of you to the fullest. Thank you.
Jeremy I love your videos. You always take the time to break things down for the viewers so that we can learn and grow as builders, drivers, and hobbyist. From all of the Kyle's learning and trying to build something cool in their garage, THANK YOU!
Awesome build.. love how you tucked and crammed everything under the hood in that little space & modifying the rad support plastic cover/shroud where the pipes run threw it. Amazing work you and your team did. Now thats what you call "keeping it Clean keeping it Simple" You got 1 hell of a sleeper, cant wait to see it tare up the streets
Good crew and good ideas...you are in high cotton now with tons of happy viewers! Thank You for sharing from Georgia and happy viewers too at 4:02 AM!!!
Great 👍🏼 I’m impressed on how the whole thing came out in such a short time hope it runs as good as you’re hoping looking forward to some smiling veterans GOD BLESS EVERYONE
Personally I don’t get all that excited about compression test numbers as long as they are relatively equally, to me what is far more important is what cylinder leak-down percentage numbers are. On a side note it always baffles me why anybody would work on their knees when working in a shop, hell I question anybody working on the floor even under the old shade tree. PS scrap is not Junk only Junk is Junk. This built will certainly be interesting on how well it performs much less if things like the A/C ever has a chance of working or if the coolant tank melts even with the heat shield. That said I like the fact everything is below a flat stock hood. One parting thought Turbo Build a Day and a Laugh, Tuning the Crown Beast ????? Or AKA The Fun has Just Begun!
Thanks for the Video..... Well a new direction ....Fasterproms Fabrication....without any interference from McFarland Fabrication....Ya. As Derek over on Vice Grip Garage would say.... "That's Factry". What a great install....and the hood closes....truly professional.
Would you guys ever consider making another set of piping for a crown Victoria? I’d love to turbo mine. Unfortunately I do not have the tools or the knowledge (cutting, welding) to make my own. I am local in Florida and would even come pay you face to face in cash!
Jeremy. Your 100% enthusiastic attitude keeps me watching your videos. This crown vic turbski vid is amonh yout best yet. Probably the lack of sleep but keep that shit up bud. You too laz and George
Lookin like neighbor got some competition. I really enjoy seeing nice installs. Fasterproms is showing off. Wish you guys the best of luck. Get her Norman!
Subbed! Only UA-cam channel I literally watch every video on is Cleetus. I do not know why I never thought to subscribe to you to but glad I did now. Keep up the good work Jeremy
Had to pause the video at the 11:00 time stamp just long enough to say: THAT MAN ( Josh? ) SURE CAN WELD. That's got to be some of the prettiest welds I've ever seen. Perfectly "stacked coins" without a single inconsistency or "wiggle" in the seams anywhere. Looks like a robot did it in some factory. THAT is an art form in itself. Back to the video.........
I was really confused as to how it started and ran on 45 psi compression until someone brought up the throttle body being closed. Garrett reminds me of myself at that age if I had had money, and you are the neighborhood mechanic who helps kids out of tight spots while they learn. Keep up the good work. I still catch myself pushing the gas pedal one time to set the choke...lol
Man you should've took a page from the diy turbo ls guys. Pull the passenger side manifold and cut the front off of it. Weld a 2.5 inch v band onto the front of the manifold. These new manifolds aren't like the old school cast. You can actually weld them. Then you reinstall your manifold upside down and you can connect the drivers side exhuast to the 2.5 inch V band you welded onto the passenger manifold. You could've tucked all of the exhuast up above the crossmember like stock.
All I can say is thank GOD you have AC. I just left Tampa and it was so damn hot down there, then I return to PA and we're under a heat warning with highs of 96 and 98...
you really should do both, if you have a valve barely opening it will pass a leak down test but fail a compression test because if you cant move the air in or out you have nothing to compress. in reality you should do both if you can
For the love of all things panther platform someone please donate this man a honeycomb grille, that faded bar grille is atrocious. 🤮🤮 I would but every Vic at the bone yard is front end damage. 😭😭
I'm not a fan of the crown Vic, but this build is turning out to be bad ass. Props to your team for being able to achieve an incredible feat in only one day!. Keep up the amazing work fasterproms 🥳
I think it’s so cool that you the tuner is designing the turbo kit! Always different outcome when the guy with the end game knowledge is doing the actual work. Kinda like me a test and balance guy installing an HVAC system.
Way to fit it all in there guys, excellent fitment/fab work to get the hood to shut and it sounds even better than it looks.. Cant wait to see it on the dyno and then the street and making some Vet's smile. : )
Love the show I watch every episode and hope to b a tuner one day. soon as the lifts are payed for in the shop I work at we are getting a Dyno we already got hp tuner pro and it's awesome... I herd lazz say something about a oil leak from the hose goin to the oil cap and if that is the drain for the turbo Im almost positive it has to have a scavange pump or u will have a smoky turbo real quick.(leroys turbos are above the valve cover so it works but I believe that is y he had pressure problem that went away after he added a quart the heads can only flow so much oil per sec anyway) drill and tap a hole in the pan under the turbo so the oil can flow.. and keep on making power brother I'm going to do the same
I love that you went through the trouble to keep the hood. That’s my style. I’d elegantly notch the radiator support before I’d cut a home in the hood.
Hey buddy that big support you cut inbetween the two frame rails is a pretty crucial one when it comes to frame flex on these late model vics. I'd suggest running a tube across the top and bottom, where you can fit one to serve the purpose that previously did. I have a TVS, coyote swapped 6 speed vic, myself.
As a Crown Vic owner I've always thought a turbo would do good on the 2v, Though my fab skills are not quite what you guys have I still have been inspired. Thanks for that and the great content.
Epic build by a very talented crew! I can't wait to see more. But does it close the hood and put lotion on it's skin? Edit. Get some aftermarket headlights from LKQ, lifetime warranty on yellowing and moisture.
Hey Jeremy, Great low budget Turbo build BUT the A/C is not gonna work. The Condenser needs clean air to transfer heat. The hot turbo air charge going through the intercooler is going to transfer the heat right into the Condenser. Fire it up,make some boost with A/C gauges hooked up and your high side pressure should go through the roof, up until the point that the high pressure switch shuts off the Compressor. You'll most likely have to remote mount the condenser away from the heat source to get it to work. I hope I'm wrong and it all works fine but I doubt it.

Great video as always, Jeremy. How goes the banana peel wars? 🤣🤣 You and Cooper are like two peas in a pod😁
Are you kidding me you didnt let cletus fabrication do it that would have made this video 😐😐😐😐
You should wrap the downpipe and put a turbo blanket on so the power steering line doesn't melt.

Brad Clapp when they have a cam that won’t blow all the boost and fuel out the exhaust mid stroke
@r7 Kelley the cams that are in it have too much overlap for boost. It'll work but I'm sure they'll be switching them out in an upcoming video 😉
