Thank you for this video. Straight to the point. No BS. Clearly detailed every step. Very well done. I'll be coming back to this video to service mine.
@@garrettrussell8346 that's great 😎☝️ thanks for watching!
The old oil you drained off the ferris reminded me of the black gold jed found while hunting on the beverly hillbillies.
Lol😂
Oh yes I saw you got a z700 …mine the the deck is rusting out and I only have 220 hours and I’ll call my dealer and they said they don’t even sell it no more it’s like $3600 to replace it so I need some plates and weld it all up it seems to be holding up but I really like to get 2200 one day …great video.👍
So far your the only guy that has done this correctly. Some of the grease fittings are elusive, aren't they? Nice job. According to Ferris, they recommend 10 micron filters for the trans ( theirs), as the pistons are 40 microns, but other mfg filters are up to 50 microns.
Thanks 👍
Great video. I have a 2020 ISX 2200 and was affraid to do hydro service, but not anymore. Thanks for tutorial.
Appreciate it!
Good video! The Ferris IS700 looks pretty much identical to my Simplicity CitationXT! I just traded it in for a Ferris ISX2200 last week.
Thanks👍 We have ISX 2200 as well 😏☝️nice mower
Wow! A lot of work on these newer mowers. Not like the old days of wash, oil change, spark plugs and you're good to go. lol Have a good week! See ya!
Yeah, it is John 😉👍have a good one!
Nothing like a good maintenance day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes sir 👍got us a little shower last night😃☝️wasn't much but, I'll take it!
Fantastic video. Thank you so much. I'm doing my own service from now on.
That's awesome! Appreciate the comment 😏👍
Reminds me I need to grease my spindles❤
Yep 😉👍
Check the front wheel "crazy" axles....my 2200 has a fitting for them they should be on the rim itself.
🤦of course! I can't believe I forgot those grease fittings! Thanks
J, I’ve gotta hand it to ya. I have the same 2016 model with 210 hours on it. I’m going to follow your lead and save myself $450 from my Ferris dealer. Thank you, Sir
Right on 😃👍
Well done.
What a GREAT video!
Why thank you 😏
Great job!!! Very good details…
Thank you
Who would have thought that servicing a mower would have been as expensive a working on a car . 👍🏻
No kidding 🤷
I might of missed it, but I didn't see you grease the front wheel bearings, I saw you grease the front forks though.
There's a good chance I forgot to do them😎☝️🤦
do you know what the IS number is for a 2013 model Ferris zero turn?? I also would like to know what you charge for the work you just did? I have one in my shop and this is the first Ferris I have worked on and your video was very helpful and I appreciate it!
@@miketruckermike292 I'm am unfamiliar with the 2013 model Ferris mowers. Glad the video was helpful 😎👍
That was funny looked like a mower shop! What kind of spray were you using on the mower? I use same grinder with flap disk I was using a hand file for years.
Mower shop indeed 😅 we were spraying some "simple green" degreaser in the backpack sprayer. It helps break some of the crud up on those nasty mowers 😉👍
@@JsCrazyCutzLLC Ok cool because I try to keep them clean also💯💪🏾
I've seen a couple of videos where they used the ceramic coating detailers use under the mower deck to make them easier to clean. Probably works best with a freshly painted deck though!
Great video mate!!! I need to grease the casters on my z1, what type of grease did you use?
Thanks man! We use Lucas Red and Tacky on all grease points.
Thank you, does it also work for greasing the spindles?
We use that on ALL our grease points.
Excellent video can you tell me what size those grease fittings are for the front forks 1/8” ?
🤔 honestly, I don't know? 🤷
👍
Hey, thanks man! Hope your doing well 😎👍
Hi Guys, Hope all is well with you. I have an ISX 2200. How hard are the grease fittings for the rear swing arms to get to. I can't find a video from you where you have done that. Thanks, Brian

This is another maintenance video we did on a IS -3200Z. It has all the same grease points as a 2200.Its at the 35 minute mark on that video.
I have a Simplicity, same bones as the Ferris, no grease fittings or holes for them at the Castors, could mine have sealed bearings?
Not sure ?🤔 good posability 😃☝️ I'm not familiar with Simplicity mowers 🤷
What year model is that is700?
It's a 2016 model
@@JsCrazyCutzLLC Thank you much. Looking at ZT's and your video's have been great to watch.
In my hydro gear it says you can use synthetic or conventional
Interesting 🤔
