- Dave thinks this one sounds like it could have been on Council Skies, he's pretty surprised that it's from the WTSMG era!

One of the best Oasis songs I think, easily top 10, and one of LG's best vocals
One of my fav’s … not sure it makes the top 10 for me but it’s in the mix
This is a fantastic oasis song. One of the best. A definite fan favourite. Brings back so many memories.
Agree with many of the comments on here. Amazing song. One of their best - from a fan since '94
I remember buying the Roll with it single - 1996 I think. And listening to this song for the first time and thinking "Why isn't this the A-Side" 🙂 What a tune.
Love this song rember listening too it when I got the roll with it single!! Thought it was great!! That was the one thing with oasis, b sides were brilliant!! Great tune
Such an amazing song
One of the best , great reaction as always dave ❤
I remember singing this to myself when I was in Wanno (HMP) some 23 years ago. I was working with a decent bunch of lads in the main stores, complete ragtag little crew, but a great job to end a lie down. Anyway, this 'diverse' workforce all started joining in, like we all knew the words to this track and belted it out whilst walking round the jail, outside the wings delivering shit. It was August, funnily enough, the sun was shining and it was actually a great little moment! Music definitely has the power to bring people together - a bit like the prison system! Great little gem of a track.. ❤
Love the vocal on this
Yes the Real People and Oasis used to record in the same studio and got to know each other. They even wrote this song together
But they fell out when Chris accused him of stealing the chorus of don't go away.
I have to side with Noel on this one because the two songs sound nothing alike except for those two lines
Inspiral Carpets were a great band. They still tour now but with new singer, drummer, guitarist so they are no where near the band they used to be but in their day with Tom Hingley on vocals they were ace!
If you folks want a really good Noel tune check out Sail On. One of his best I think.
Idler's Dream also.
You HAVE to listen to Noel’s song - “you know we can’t go back”
it's time guys, it's time to unveil to Dave the masterpiece that is Fade Away Warchild Version w/ Noel on lead and Liam on backing vocals. DO IT!!!!!!!
This song, and Listen Up, 2 of the most underrated Oasis songs.
Amazing. Good choice.
Can you guys react to Probably All in the Mind from their Heathen Chemistry album?
Plus Better Man
Born On A Different Cloud
are Class Man
Noel was sacked with Mark Coyle, Coyle then went onto become Oasis' live sound engineer up until about 2000, he was with Oasis from the start.
Can't believe this is a B-Side.
Oasis intelligente lyrics catchy Sounds and all unique..... it's perfect if you want think about yourself..... i think I know what is the base for so much intelligente lyrics specially in Angelsachsen Entertainment Empire..... luck is not the case it's much more..... thank you very much Sir Dave and Lady Dave
2:45 obligatory drums praise. 🥁😄
Good to be Free will always be my favourite b-side, but this is tremendous. Everything Noel wrote at this point was absolutely magic.
Need to listen to ‘The Real People - Feel the Pain’ and you should hear some very close similarities to Don’t go Away
Inspiral carpets this is how it feels
Good shout, Dave will like that one.
Hopefully we are gonna get a reaction for Falling Down and Where Did It All Go Wrong from Jools Holland 2000.
This takes me back ❤
If you havnt reacted to 'sad song' yet, please do 😊
Preferably the recently released Liam vocal
Great song one of the best b-sides that really should have been A-sides.
'Full On', my favourite B-Side from Standing on the shoulder of giants.
Yes!
More than Let's All Make Believe? Full On is a Tune that should've been on SOTSOG aswell
@@eddysandland58 Yes I think it's because I usually like songs that are faster and heavy guitars and I love that in Full On, it always cheers me up. Let's all make believe is great but is much slower and with a different vibe let's say.
@@juanvalcarcel1620 I get what you mean cos my favourites are Bring It On Down Fade Away Headshrinker Rock n Roll Star My Big Mouth etc
The Real People were from Liverpool and they would let Oasis use their studio in the early days and even helped them with writing a couple of songs. Chris Griffiths now holds a lot of contempt towards Noel due to not being credited on Columbia, but the straw that finally broke the camels back was when they first heard the Be Here Now album and discovered that Noel had blatently ripped off the chorus of one of their songs and turned it into the chorus for Dont Go Away. Theres a great interview with Chris where he discusses it on a UA-cam channel called Behind The Curtain Podcast. He's also interviewed Tom from the Inspirals where he talks about Noels departure from his job as roadie. Worth checking out
Actually the only song they wrote together was Rockin' Chair they didn't write anything else together.
And the Don't Go Away bit was way overblown, two completely different songs when you hear it.
@@Abdulrahman-gs1wsx if ye think that noel didn't just steal the don't go away chorus then youre a little deaf bro
@@DatToddler Go and have a listen. Completely different.
The only similarity is the line "Don't go away, say that you'll stay, forever and a day"
@@Abdulrahman-gs1wsx gg that's what I said
Plus helping Columbia with Liam Bonehead also getting writing credits Now!
What got me was when Oasis Blew up n Opening Knebworth with Columbia!
That for Me was a kick in the Balls plus Not even letting The Real People have a set over the 2 days! And on Any other Tours
Oasis didnt go to the crossroads, hence why USA didn’t play much of their stuff.
You got Nirvana Greenday Linkin Park etc instead.
Took ma first trip listing to this good times
Inspiral Carpets, Saturn 5 👌🏼
Coming soon!
Live from bournemouth 1995 is much more rock n roll like you would expect. Liam has also sung it in recent years acoustic and it's great
That 1995 Bournemouth electric version is AWESOME, Liam is beyond words on that.
This song is epic, you should check out Cloudburst if you haven't already
Why? Cloudburst isn’t close to this one. It’s ok but not worth a review.
@@rkid727 99% of oasis songs are worth a reaction
Noel and Mark Coyle got fired because of their excessive drug use and partying.
One of My Favourite Inspiral Carpets Tuuuuunes is Two World's Collide 🔥
INSPIRAL CARPETS - This is how it feels to be lonely. Dave will actually love it, I promise!
Half the world away and masterplan would've got to no1
Got to be Saturn 5 if your going to do an Inspirals song
Also can you check out fade away war child version with liam on backing vocals pls 👍
Oasis & Friends Liams backing vocals are Class! I Love both versions 🔥
Inspiral Carpets- Saturn 5. Good tune.
This Is How It Feels is the their best known song but I think Dave will prefer Saturn 5.
When liam sings this song these days, he sometimes points to his left handside when he says ' its all too much for me to take when youre not there'
Is that true? 😢
Good song
5:12 there is a fantastic Liam acoustic version from Radio X 2018.
Saturn 5 by Inspiral Carpets is good.
rod stewart covered this song on an album!
Noel wasn't fired, he was paid off when the band went bankrupt and then split up, the inspirals as far as I'm aware have never opened for oasis I didn't even know they had ever got back together.
11:37
This is a fan favourite, it’s an ok song. Definitely b-side material, the same verses repeated and no real chorus. Great vocal delivery from Liam.
2:35 wow, I never noticed that amazing little falsetto Liam does (on the 'me') until now.
2:08 Anyone know who the chick is that pops up very briefly?
Great song, I prefer it to the A-Side.
Cheeeeers! :D
Can you guys please react to “I Hope I Think I Know” ? Greetings from south of the border aka Mexico 🇲🇽
Noel is a genius 👏👌
I always felt this song was very R.E.M, Michael Stipe could have done a great vocal on this too
As it started my first instinct was... REM... 100%
@@jaycordner3890 they did tour quite a bit with REM, it's very Automatic for the people which is a great great album
Drummer was Tony McCarroll as well on this!
I don't think he was he was fired in April 1995 and this was recorded in May 1995
@@HighFlyingEYE ah sorry yes it was some might say when he was fired after release, good call
@@levivalentinovideos he drummed everything up to SMS
It’s definitely Alan White on the drums
@@daveshaw7953 yep my bad
