- Hey there everyone, Dave has an upcoming test live reaction that will most likely be a late 90s or early 2000s gig, so I thought I'd show him something from much later on down the Oasis timeline as a change of pace.
He really likes this album so far. It sounds different than their other stuff to him but he is enjoying these songs!

The start of this song reminds me of Cliff Richard - Devil Woman
The last Oasis album Noel already had the songs for the next album in his head and then he released some of them with High Flying Birds It definitely would have given Oasis a new direction but as we all know now, things turned out differently
Some great energy on that album. Yes the promotion was quite interesting with the buskers.

Excellent work Dave, this does have a very different sound and vibe which would later reappear on Noel’s second solo record called Chasing Yesterday. I’d love to see Dave’s opinion on The Importance Of Being Idle and Everybody’s On The Run (live with the choir). Also Paper Crown from Liam’s first solo record, As You Were.

The first 5 or 6 songs on that album are fantastic but the second half lets it down slightly

Great tune! One of the best Oasis ones I've heard on here. I'd never caught the track before. Dave had a ood call on the No TIme Guess Who Reference. Maybe that's why I like it so much. def vintage sounding Great backbeat. Speaking of vintage sounding, this band for Dave really scratches that 60s sunshiney pop, Beach Boys Itch. Oh look out....Great tune Dave Sadly no live versions of this many fans were hoping for it .....Maybe the lads rehearsed it ?..For some unknown reason the start of the song I can picture it with montages high shots of Japan and the city with rain coming down around the time Oasis toured there in 2000's...The Piano also reminds me of Noel's What a life tune ...I know what you mean about the drums..Again I prefer the Alan white drum mix of 2000's

Probably Dig Out Your Soul is my favourite Oasis album with the exception of Get Off Your High Horse which is terrible. Falling Down being the best song with a great video.
Swap GOYHHL and the nature of reality with a Liam sung stop the clocks and record machine and this album would of been amazing
High horse lady is 100% an oasis poor moment. Absolutely horrendous song.

If i could request just one track id love dave to listen to is oasis-half the world away.itunes featival 09 but any would do.its a great song and on this occasion liam doesnt leave the stage while noel sings quite funny watching him sit and chill out thanks shecky👍🇬🇧
