I would LOVE to see Dave's reaction to Gary's discography through the ages. Gary has constantly reinvented himself over the years, a bit Bowie-esque (though I wouldn't put them in the same league, as much as I am a fan of both). There's some real clunkers, but also a lot of great material too. Maybe just avoid the 90s... :D Gary is one of those people you can't help but root for. A complete sweetheart, but an introvert who struggles with self-confidence issues. He went through so much terrible shit in his life. He was, for a very brief time, the biggest hit on the planet, but went from that to bankruptcy in just a few years. Couldn't handle the sudden insane fame. He went through terrible depression for many years, and has had to claw his way back to popularity, and while he'll never achieve anything close to the same heights, it's heartwarming to see him still out there doing his thing all these decades later. He seems much happier in his life now. Fun fact: Gary ended up being one of the prime influences for Trent Reznor/Nine Inch Nails, and the two have occasionally performed at each other's shows.

I wasn't sure if Dave would like Gary Numan but pleased he did. Lots and lots of great songs. Are friends electric was a big hit here in UK. Bloody hell, I'm looking out for their watches now! More please.✌

You should do Bonehead’s Bank Holiday. Noel wrote it for Bonehead to sing and Bonehead got nervous so he went to the nearest pub and got drunk to loosen up. He came back to the studio and sounded awful so Noel filled in for him.

Whoa! This is going to be awesome. My only criticism of Noel’s writing in the early days is that he’d just repeat the first verse, but I got over it by just singing along. 😂

For diehard Oasis fans, this one is very close to the top of the list - it epitomizes everything about them if you ask me.

Had the Cigs and Alc single, can't tell you how many times I listened to this B-Side, wayyy more than the a-side. btw did you know Cigs and Alc is the song they have played live more than any other. This had another great b-side Fade Away. Also I Am The Walrus (live). Although Some Might Say is still the best Oasis single to buy, it was their first every number one and all 3 B-sides are iconic.

Brilliant song. Feels a mix of Supersonic and Live Forever to me. The few live performances of this song from the 90’s are magnificent.
