You know what would be a better spice limit test? Going to a restaurant that serves actually spicy foods that aren't odious concoctions of miscellaneous mildly spicy foods.
Half the stuff he put on there are types of bases, and cut the spice down CONSIDERABLY.

My friend is absolutely OBSESSED with these “spice limit” TikToks. I’ve tried to tell her that most of the stuff isn’t actually spicy but she didn’t believe me. Not until yesterday she actually tried the trend (with the same stuff as one of this guy’s videos) and then realised how it’s not spicy at all.
Then when he tried something actually spicy he screamed like he’d been punched in the nuts by Mike Tyson…what if you make those cake pops for your friend and tell her it’s not spicy either? 😂

Augusttheduck, I have to applaud you for sitting through a number of these videos regardless of what the topic is. I have to say me personally I'm not big on spicy mainly because I get really bad acid reflux and there's just certain thing I can't eat. But the combination of thing this guy puts together I can only imagine taste just absolutely disgusting. And maybe some credit has to go to being able to stomach these Frankenstein food combinations. Side note any time I see Wasabi it's basically just horseradish which I do enjoy horseradish, I know real Wasabi is pretty expensive.
It's a billion times more pleasant, fun and even informative to binge watch the Hot Ones series while starving than a millisecond of this... whatever is this.
The real challenge is going to the toilet after this.

love that so many of these are like Takis and Sriracha which neither are hot, they're just acidic, and half the hotsauces they use my use things like ghost peppers but they're super toned down with the other flavors in them.

some spice can multiply, but you're right about it not turning into something crazy from small amounts of weaker peppers. BUT small amount of hotter peppers can pile up the capsaicin to a painful level
my dad has had his stomach destroyed by eating spicy foods all throughout his life, he's told me some of the things he's tried (all normal amounts) and even if these things aren't really spicy i'm still wondering if they even still have a stomach lining from me just imagining the shear amount of acid they're ingesting (hopefully not) daily

A few problems I had with those videos
Flaming Hot Mountain Dew isn't spicy at all
Wasabi isn't "spicy", it causes a steamy reaction
And that's now how you make cake pops
Not to mention most wasabi you buy in stores isn't even real wasabi to begin with.

I'll bet you anything he's choked before, but edited it out. Must have hurt really badly, too. Choking on a hot pepper is no joke. I've done it before with some raw habanero seeds, and it's agony how it gets up into your sinuses when you're trying to cough it out.
