People like him kinda ARE in charge, unfortunately. You know how much food just gets thrown away at the end of the day at pretty much any food-oriented business? A ton. Just imagine how much it is nationwide, or even worldwide, every single day.
And they'll straight up fire you if you try to give it away instead of directly throwing it out, because it might theoretically make a few desperate people wait around until the end of the day for a free sandwich that was always going to end up in the garbage anyway. Meanwhile, people are literally starving.
I'm glad food wastage or buying insane amounts of the same food is illegal in my country (Japan), this doesn't happen here and it really shouldn't anywhere as it does not entertain anyone.

It’s not even just the homeless who could’ve benefited from all of that food, the working class people struggling to make enough money to feed their families could’ve as well. This kid doesn’t know how lucky he is to have that sort of privilege to be in the position to do these stupid stunts. Just gross.

5:18 I am a Biologist, not a chemist but I took organic and inorganic chemistry in collage. The one thing I took away from my inorganic chemistry class is that you should never mix an acid with bleach because it will make Chlorine gas. People need to be aware of the LABLES of these products so they do not do dumb things like this.

I mean,not everybody just so happens to ALWAYS remember those who live in poverty. If everyone just remembered the starving people it would be kinda hard to enjoy a good meal. There are multiple things that make this even worse:
1. He probably doesn't always like how a video ends up, so he might end up doing some videos more than 5 times, meaning that some videos are probably 5x worse than we already think they are
2. He is either blowing LOTS of money (his parents money most likely) for new tablecloths every time he makes one of these videos, or torturing a maid that is extremely underpaid

I was fortunate enough to have food bit i remeber my mum have to take deep breath when paying for food cause food isnt cheap.
the cake one really got me, my single mother and I lived in pretty extreme poverty, and we couldn't really afford even box cake mix for my birthdays. My birthday would come super late every year maybe up to three to four months late. I was happy just to get one because I got a cake every time. My mom struggled to afford it. But she saved so she could make me happy. I can't believe someone would waste so much food that could be making so many people happy.

I met a guy who cried at a buffet because the amount of food that the employees and customers threw away was enough to feed his entire village for at least a week. These videos are definitely half the problem.

Unfortunately, businesses do like to waste a lot, including supermarkets. And they even put effort into not allowing the homeless to eat the perfectly good food they've thrown away in their bins. My Dad was born during rationing in the UK following the 2nd world war. When I was growing up, whilst we never went hungry, my parents couldn't afford snack foods and our meals were pretty basic. Nothing went to waste really. Christmas was the one time where they saved up and we had some treats. As an adult, I have gone hungry because I couldn't pay bills and buy food. I actually can't believe how decadent and disgusting some young people are. I just can't get my head around it. So disturbing.

Listen: I'm not a chemist, neither do I know exactly what he used, but I'm pretty sure he just mixed hydrocholric acid (bleach) with ammonia (this purple liquid) - and this creates nitrogen trichloride (NCl3), increadibly dangerous, poisonus and even explosive liquid. In small doses it just galls the skin, but in larger amounts it can make severe burns, including your respiratory system if you inhale it.
Again: I'm not sure what he used exactly, but just be careful when using this kind of chemistry.

I don't believe bleach and dish soap react too much - bleach and acid (like vinegar) react to produce chlorine gas, but soap is usually basic.
