- What's popping you guys, it's your boy Cap back with another video. Today I am going to be discussing the Tekken 8 one and done problem. I hope you guys can grab a snack and spend the next 10 minutes with me while I lay out the problem and try to give a solution to the problem. I hope you guys can enjoy the content. Let me know anything I can change, fix, and or do better. It would be greatly appreciate it.

MK1 is above Tekken 8 and SF6, and Tekken 8 has tons of issues, even the issues that were "fixed" in the patch weren't really fixed, and it only got worse since then.
@@RoyArkon I highly disagree and I was an MK player and this is my first Tekken, so I'm not falling on legacy. I have more legacy in NRS games and they screwed up with MK1. Obviously all opinion.
@@cptnaizen I have played MK games since MK2 on the PC way back in the 90's, and I have played Tekken games since Tekken 3. My statement is based the legacy of both of these franchises.
@@RoyArkonwhat they did not fix? The game is balanced, now you can play defense, and heat while op, it’s not as oppressive as it used to be. Sure the shop and dlc sucks, but there is way more to praise on Tekkens front than mk. Why do you think people quit mk?
@@antonomous4780 The balance is NOT good, also the chip damage still has recoverable health attached to it which is A HUGE PROBLEM FROM DAY 1 which means the game is still super oppressive, and with the reveal of Heihachi they just proved even further the story modes for both Tekken 7 AND Tekken 8 just suck, especially now that Reina has become obsolete to the game. And not to mention there are still no additional single player modes to make single player guys to keep coming back to the game after just one month. Only reason FGC and UA-camrs praise Tekken 8 is the same reason why they bash MK1, to be both corporate shills for Bamco and community shills for the FGC, and it's only in the confines of the interent. MK1 is the most popular fighting game now, and the sales prove. It has the best story, best roster, gameplay is incredible and TRULY BALANCED, and Invasions keep single player guys to keep coming back to the game. MK1 is truly PHENOMENAL.
@@RoyArkon to begin with, chip damage being recoverable was never an issue for players. Only Certain characters had chip damage issues and they tackled those characters. Do you know what oppressive gameplay means? Having recoverable chip does not mean is oppressive actually it proves my point. Tekkens gameplay when it first came out was leaning too much into offense. As king had tracking throws, dragnov will keep you blocking for the whole game, hworang had a bs power crush. They went and addressed certain issues where the characters were either too oppressive or had broken heat systems, etc. now you can play defense, matter of fact we saw a defensive player win evo 2024. Also, what single player modes does mk1, sure they got a better story but that’s where it ends. There isn’t much to do, when Tekken got Tekken ball, arcade, ghost battles, and a theater mode that helps you improve. You say that people are corporate shills when in reality, mk1 did everything wrong, they got cocky and was punished for it. They did what you say Tekken did, which was a bad patching job. The gameplay is slow, and the game is not satisfying to watch compared to sf and Tekken. Also, Tekken is ranked number 6 in sales for 2024 what are you talking about? Also, mk1 had tons of balancing issues, people literally are calling mk1 pay to win because the DLC characters are op. Omni man came out op, peach maker was op, and homelander was op. Johnny cage was op. Not to mention the Kameos were a mess for about 6-8 months. Also, nobody is playing invasions I see people critique it. Lastly, if mk1 did sold better than Tekken which it did not, why are mortal kombat players going back to mk11 or leaving to Tekken? Please explain that. Also you don’t seem to know the Tekken or mortal kombat meta.
