JoshsWorld.com totally agree the eb110 was started up by artiolli as a whole new bugatti company with everything designed and built by that company for that car . It was a real bugatti . Not an expensive vw with a bugatti badge . Vw say everything for the veyron was built for that car . Except it wasnt the w16 8.0 engine is 2 audi 4.0 v8 put together and it was originally going to be a bentley called the haunadieres till they decided to resurrect the bugatti badge

are just Bugatti ONLY in name , with Volkswagens engine and disgusting chassis , made in France.
VW needed a brand for give credibility for the best they can do and be able to sell it as a brand with heritage. The Bugatti EB110 was driven by passion. I would say the EB110 is the Concord from the 90s car industry.
Asas Sasa the eb110 was nothing to do with Volkswagen. It was only in 1998 that he bought the rights to bugatti name , at the time they were working on a Bentley supercar with an 8.0 w16 engine called the hunaudieres . After they bought bugatti they changed the Bentley to bugatti and added 4 turbo in it . The eb110 was a stand alone company owned by Italian business Romano artiolli . Nothing to do with vs back then
