"I'm not going to do anything too wild with it." Then he 4 wheel drifts it and speaks of throwing it in the corner, mashing the gas and letting the AWD sort it out. You have a gift sir, don't hide it under a bushel basket
+DtRockstar1 SERIOUSLY! I've never been a fan of Bugatti's because they seem to be luxurious playthings for the rich who can't drive. *But this beauty...a 4 TURBO AWD V12?! What a proper RACECAR! Fit for any gearhead too, if it weren't for the fugly rear, it might be the best looking 90's vehicle out there!*
Brilliant video, I never even knew about the Super Sport version of the EB110 before. You've got 270k subscribers now I think? How about we all chip in a few quid and buy it for Chris? :)
Remember seeing Clarkson drive one of these on a VHS I had back in the day, I always used to mention it to friends who idolised the Ferraris and Lambos of the day and they'd just look at me completely blank, truly an unsung supercar hero. Another great video Chris, keep 'em coming.
Neil's camerawork makes this all the better. Chris' enthusiasm and honest and utter love for this car combined with the amazing shots makes this such an awesome video.
That car's absolutely a dream to drive. I've hade the opportunity to drive one for 15 minutes in Dubai, and can very much relate to Chris. Outstanding balance, feedback, it really does become one with the driver!
I remember thumbing through a car magazine at the local library on a wet, rainy afternoon in the early 90s. This was the car that brightened up that day. Thanks Chris for rekindling those nostalgic memories Great review as always.
Amazing! I definitely teared up a few times during this. His joy. The slow mo 4 wheel drifts. Thank you, Thank you. Just a beautiful review of a stunning icon from one of the greats.
This brings back the memories of that huge 8 ft x 3 ft poster I had on my walls of the blue EB110. It must have been around 1997 when I got that poster and Bugatti was an unknown name in the midst of Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche (NFS to blame there). However, I would wake up to this poster and go to sleep mesmerized with the silhouette for the next 8 years. "Bugatti EB110" hence is and will remain the most special car name for me. Thanks Chris for letting me relieve all those moments again!
Si je ne dis pas de sottise, le père S'appelait Ettore Bugatti et était un artiste sculpteur ou un de ses fils et il s'était installé en Alsace dans les tous débuts des années 30 , d'où se trouve depuis les ateliers Bugatti .
The eb110 was my first true love as a supercar when I was 7. I had die-cast models and posters of this vehicle everywhere in my room. Chris Harris on Cars kudos to another gem of a review. Really enjoy watching all your videos. Bugatti EB110 will always have a special place in my heart. Mclaren F1 was a very special vehicle but the bugatti was a 1/4 of its price at the time and was using next-gen technology.
+Christian Van-Ristell The Bugatti EB110 is a mid-engine sports car produced by Bugatti Automobili S.p.A. from 1991 to 1995, when the company went bankrupt. It was the only production model made by Romano Artioli's Italian incarnation of Bugatti
Thank you, Chris and Neil. This is one of the most special cars that no one outside of the motorsports world knows about. The only thing us EB110 fans have had in the last decade+ is that brief Eattherich video where they rip that white one around for a few measly seconds. Finally. Ce fut magnifique.
My mum bought me a model car of the bugatti eb110 when i was a kid. This car is what dreams are made of, i love it. Great review. You wouldn't be wasting your money at all if you bought it!
Agreed, one of your best so far Chris. I felt like I was 7 years old again (I am 50) :) and just finished pinning this to my cork-board wall in my bedroom.
Finally an EB110 SS video! I've had a model of this car since I 9 years old. Needless the say it was one of those situations when I liked the video before I even watched it, fantastic!
Maybe not the nicest car to drive, but what a bit of history. This is a car that takes real skill to drive and I imagine, is so rewarding for it. Chris, you are a very fortunate car enthusiast.
You live the life that many of us wish we could! I really wouldn't want any other person reviewing it though. You make me feel like I'm in that damn seat pushing that beauty around.
"I think this car... was a cruel victim... of a fad that we called, the McLaren F1" - never have I agreed more with something that someone has said, ever in my entire life. As much as I love the McLaren F1 (Yes, I love it more than the F40 & F50, combined), I still feel that it unnecessarily overshadowed the likes of really really great supercars of its era, like the Bugatti EB110 (Dauer EB110 SS, more specifically), the Jaguar XJ220, the Cizeta-Moroder V16T, the Porsche 911 GT1 Straßenversion, the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR, etc... If I had $20ml to spend on cars, I'd rather buy all those cars mentioned above combined, over 1 McLaren F1. I'd still have change left over, I reckon, to buy a couple of Diablo's (Older Jota and a 2001 6.0 VT). Every 80's/90's kid's wildest wet dream.
+Ahmed Irfan Well said! All those cars you mentioned were legendary, the V16T being the original Diablo, the Strassenversion being one of the few cool Porsches, same goes for the CLK-GTR, XJ220 still one of the most beautiful cars ever made defintiely more than the new CX-75, annnd I'd rather a Diablo GT over all them though!!
+Ahmed Irfan Cannot forget the Isdera Commendatore 112i. The car that predated Pagani with using the AMG V12. And for Christ sake its wing mirror was on the roof!
Alex Baldwin Couldn't agree more, 90's was the era of the supercar, they were crazy fast, dangerous, mean as fuck and above all, they looked stunning. The 112i was one of my favorite cars in Need For Speed 2 or 1 I think it was. Those were definitely the good days, when your only wiki source on cars was Gran Turismo on the PlayStation. Saf I agree with everything you commented except for the bit where you mentioned "the Strassenversion being one of the few cool Porsches", I am a Porschephile and I find that to be quite offensive, haha. But to each their own I guess.
If we're did a $20 million edition of "what would you buy" my list would take up 4 comments lol I'd probably have 3-4 super cars, then the rest would all be random fanboy cars under 1-200k. Granted, my budget would quickly be depleted by wanting immaculate versions of each, and saving a couple mil for maintenance on them all, but there'd be about 250 cars on that list!
I wonder how many people are Veyron fans but have never even heard of the EB110.. I've always had a soft sport for these, when I was a kid I had a 1:18 scale model of one in Bugatti Blue, such a cool car.
One of the best video I've watched in my life :) Thank you very much ! Glad you enjoyed this Bugatti and I really wish you get one of these one day. Good luck !
Thanks Neil and Harris. I no longer have many things that I enjoy in my life. But I check this channel everyday for a new video, and every time something new is up, it will make my day. Slow or Fast car I honestly don't care.
EB110SS, F40, McLaren F1, and Jaguar XJ220- every car purists wet dream. None of these can ever be replicated. Chris you are the man !! I suppose the only thing left to do is get an EB110 and Jaguar XJ220 and thrash them properly on a circuit. Legends will always be legends. I would rather spend a million on one of these than a modern paddle shifter-assisted-hybrid motor-nanny mobile with a million horsepower.
I remember having two Bburago 1:18 models of the EB110, one yellow and one blue example. And as a kid I couldn't imagine a car more beautiful than the blue EB110... Even today I like it way more than the Veyron.
I looooooove the old engines with giant turbos and lag. Bellow 3- 4k rpms you just cruise normally and stay under the radar. But when you put your foot down and pass that, the turbo kicks in and all hell breaks loose. It's like you;re having 2 cars in 1 - the 1st one is a steady continent to contitent cruiser and the other is a Group B monster; oh and best of all - YOU get to decide which u want at any given time, not some fancy computers behind your steering wheel. Imho the late '80s and the '90s were thr pinacle of the automotive industry.
The lines on that car absolutely gorgeous. Most modern cars are not that well thought out, not saying all, there is a ton of good examples, but that EB110 is in a class all on it's own.
It's unreal how advanced this car was for it's time. I mean, 1992. I was still in primary school! Twenty four years later and it still takes most performance cars to the cleaners. Only the F1 and CLK-GTR would be it's 90s rivals. Possibly the XJ220 could give it a decent run for its money.
Going to auction and he..... *DRIFTS IT*, lmao. This is why we love you, Chris!!!!!
Who can say his car got its own review by The Chris? He has just made it even more special.
"I'm not going to do anything too wild with it." Then he 4 wheel drifts it and speaks of throwing it in the corner, mashing the gas and letting the AWD sort it out. You have a gift sir, don't hide it under a bushel basket
my thoughts exactly lol
Whenever Chris uploads a video, those minutes are the highlight of a petrolhead's week.
pianodrew Haha you nailed it :)
And he uploaded TWO today!!! Studying can wait
+pianodrew can't agree more.
pianodrew Add to this the Petrolicious video and it's even much better. :D
Indeed!
Awesome to see the EB110 getting some attention. I've seen enough Veyrons, show me more of these!
+Dritman - you can't even spell, let alone drive a car.
+DtRockstar1 Yeah i am sick and tired of Veyrons, i mean there are thousands in my city alone, wait what?
+DtRockstar1 SERIOUSLY! I've never been a fan of Bugatti's because they seem to be luxurious playthings for the rich who can't drive.
*But this beauty...a 4 TURBO AWD V12?! What a proper RACECAR! Fit for any gearhead too, if it weren't for the fugly rear, it might be the best looking 90's vehicle out there!*
The veyron just looks like a soap on 4 wheels to me
And this one like a slice of cheese in 4 wheels.
Fantastic video as always. A brilliant insight into a car I will never drive!
+Mumbo Jumbo odd seeing that moustache pop up on these types of videos
You're not alone Mumbo.
+Mumbo Jumbo can this be the next too small please
Brilliant video, I never even knew about the Super Sport version of the EB110 before. You've got 270k subscribers now I think? How about we all chip in a few quid and buy it for Chris? :)
James Rothwell It fits Chris so much. It is weird , loud , crazy , strident and colored. It was made for him!
+James Rothwell With its fuel consumption, we'd have to chip in another 50k i'm afraid ;)
+James Rothwell agreed, ill defo take part
James Rothwell www.patreon.com/user?u=401656&u=401656&ty=h you can support him there
Yep, Chris definitely deserves it as he's bloody great! I'll chip in no problem.
must belong to ronald mcdonald
hahahaha
hahahahahah
Steve Cjr I'm lovin' it!
+Steve Cjr Obviously!!! He has the cash!!!
😂😂😂🍟🍟🍟

These old and rare cars videos are great. Thank you Chris and Neil.
Chris Harris is a genius! He makes the best car videos on UA-cam! I could watch them all day!
What a majestic piece of art. Trebien
italian art
+Marco les It's French.
+Daniel Stainthorpe no, these were made in Italy
Daniel Stainthorpe no, the bugatti eb was made in italy
no, The Bugatti was Italian for a while and all the eb were made in Modena in Italy
That car's absolutely a dream to drive. I've hade the opportunity to drive one for 15 minutes in Dubai, and can very much relate to Chris. Outstanding balance, feedback, it really does become one with the driver!

But is it better than the MX-5?
actionmethod Of course it is!
actionmethod but is it better than a honda
actionmethod yes, my Mk. 2 Spitfire with a Dolly Sprint engine is better, much better.
actionmethod ikr, my 1st gen MX-5 stock with 115bhp would smoke it.... XD
Miata is always the answer not this French shitbox
Amazing! I definitely teared up a few times during this. His joy. The slow mo 4 wheel drifts. Thank you, Thank you. Just a beautiful review of a stunning icon from one of the greats.

This car was my idol when I was a kid.
It's so great to see Chris enjoy it!
Thanks mr Harris. Last thing I thought I'd see today was an eb110 sideways. Bloody legend.

I love how passionate you are! You give feeling to spirit to the cars you review. Someone give this man a huge budget and a TV show on the BBC!
I love the looks - it's outstanding and special. Pure Italian style.
F40, EB110 and Edonis - these supercars I want in my garage.
Bugatti is French, not Italian.
Christian Van-Ristell this car is Italian.
Christian Van-Ristell Well, he was an italian who moved to elsass, which was both part of Germany and France.

My mum bought me a model car of the bugatti eb110 when i was a kid. This car is what dreams are made of, i love it. Great review. You wouldn't be wasting your money at all if you bought it!
Probably (95%) one of the only LEGIT car review channels on UA-cam. You, Chris H., and Steve S. are the only ones left...
It just sold today for £560k!! Thank you Chris for another amazing vid and special rare car come back alive!!
Yours and Niels Films keep blowing me away....staggering ! i always learn new things watching them, its such a joy watching them! keep it up!
Great video! I always LOVE seeing quality videos of classic supercars! Thanks!
Agreed, one of your best so far Chris. I felt like I was 7 years old again (I am 50) :) and just finished pinning this to my cork-board wall in my bedroom.
Just a perfect video of a EB110! Love the enthusiasm and the sheer excitement of getting to experience such an amazing car. Good going Chris!!!
Great review of the Bugatti best UA-cam reviewer of all time
Thank you for posting, you are bringing back memories of my younger years !
4:25 "Below 4 inches it doesn't do anything really, at all" - that's what she said..hehuehue
+FGG_Madim Perhaps, but that's not what he said.
+FGG_Madim he doesnt say inches.
The slowmotion slides were the best shots on this video. Could watch that all day.
red interiors should be considered a crime against humanity
yeah!
Sleepy .Time for this car it's a proper color.
hahaha :D
Sleepy .Time I always laugh when people say "crime(s) against humanity" when humanity is so fucked up
No, as a guy said looks like Ronlad McDonald's car
Finally an EB110 SS video! I've had a model of this car since I 9 years old. Needless the say it was one of those situations when I liked the video before I even watched it, fantastic!
Watched a lot of your videos mate, never seen that look in your eyes except in this video. Truly a dream come true for you.

I love the enthusiasm but it seems like everything you drive is the best thing ever.
Bloody brilliant that.....thank you for reviewing such a forgotten masterpiece!
It's so awesome to see him barely contain himself! It's not too often where he's fangirling about something amazing!
When I was a kid: This Bugatti was my dreamcar! So thanks so much :-)
Chris (& Neil), thanks for the memories of this epic car. Brilliant video as always!

Nice to see old cars on HD and proper review! Keep them coming !
Well done Chris..once again you have left me sitting here with a shared big grin! Nice one.
I had a little tiny model of one of these when I was little. Loved it. Blue. Love the doors. Now I love that it can be drifted.
Brilliant video. Great to see a genuine excitement in your face and voice Chris.
One of the best cars of the 90s. Looks stunning...and was really advanced for it's time. The EB110 was build in Campogalliano factory, in Italy.
As always Chris, awesome video. Definitely a dream car of my youth as well. The 90s had some great machines.
What a brilliant piece of machinery. Oh btw, Neil is back!
THAT NAKAMICHI HEAD UNIT THO!!!!!!!
I wonder how many people are Veyron fans but have never even heard of the EB110.. I've always had a soft sport for these, when I was a kid I had a 1:18 scale model of one in Bugatti Blue, such a cool car.
+CBRsmithy I'm sitting here in my garage, watching this video, glancing up at the poster I bought at my 5th grade book fair.
+CBRsmithy I have to admit, I'd never heard of this car. I guess the F1 stole all the thunder.
Man I think I had the exact same model car un blue aswell ;) Just gorgeous
+Alexandre Cppr Apparently, it was so gorgeous that it was worth repeating that 4 times.
One of the best video I've watched in my life :) Thank you very much ! Glad you enjoyed this Bugatti and I really wish you get one of these one day. Good luck !
I've always wanted to see more of this car! thank you!
It's too bad such quality rarely makes it onto regular tv programming. Great stuff Chris keep at it!
This is the first footage I've seen of an EB110 in action. Great stuff.
Absolutely brilliant! One of the unsung heroes!
Thanks Neil and Harris.
I no longer have many things that I enjoy in my life.
But I check this channel everyday for a new video, and every time something new is up, it will make my day. Slow or Fast car I honestly don't care.
I've never seen Chris this happy ever before. This is a proper car.
Oh my god, what a legendary car.
Thanks Mr. Harris.
My childhood poster car! Such a beautiful car!!! :D
fabulous film, very much enjoy the revisting of these clearly spectacular motor cars
wow. Since this video I 've realised I can get by the end of Top Gear. Thank you +Chris Harris On Cars
Cool car! Thanks for enlightening us. And the videography is exquisitely beautiful, even luscious. Please keep these videos coming. You are my hero!!!
One of my favourite supercars!
Definitely my favourite car as a kid. Still got the model in this colour!
10,000km, wow!
Always a thrill to see these special cars being so well kept instead of wrapped around trees.
thank you Chris.
best reviews, amazing clips.
epic 110SS
I am just sooooooo in love with your videos!!!!!!!!!!!
Dreams coming back and are (almost) in reach of arms with such BEAUUUUUUUTIFUL shots!
LOVEIT :D
Wow! Thank you for featuring my childhood dream car.
One of my favourite cars as a kid. Nice review, thanks!
Those beautifully timed slow motion shots by Neil Carey.
Thank you so much Chris for doing a great video! Plus a GREAT Bug 110SS!
Still the best car videos on YT. Thanks, Chris!
Made a difficult day SO much better, thank you for the entertainment :D
man! always wanted to see a vid of one of these. didn't disappoint!
I would rather spend a million on one of these than a modern paddle shifter-assisted-hybrid motor-nanny mobile with a million horsepower.
once again a great review, nicely done Sir! Seems like a car with character - not like a boring engine of todays turbo cars. Thaks you Mr. Harris.
bloody brilliant review, been waiting for you to do this, one of my all time favourite cars.
I love Chris Harris and his passion so much I'm not even going to comment on the exterior and interior of that car.
I never knew this car existed. Thank you Chris!
I always loved the light blue color EB110... It was my dream car in my teenage years
I remember having two Bburago 1:18 models of the EB110, one yellow and one blue example. And as a kid I couldn't imagine a car more beautiful than the blue EB110... Even today I like it way more than the Veyron.
superb cinematography - very fitting for the car.
Thanks Chris, great footage of one of my dream cars
Job well done !
I didn't even like this car before Chris made a video on it. He just makes stuff awesome.
I looooooove the old engines with giant turbos and lag. Bellow 3- 4k rpms you just cruise normally and stay under the radar. Great video! Thanks Chris;...remember how this car broke the 0-60mph in 3.0 sec. barrier back in the 90s?
I love the crease on the rear fender, great job Chris.
I love this car. It's so weird. You couldn't ever get away with releasing something this bizarre these days...
there was a blue one at the Sydney motor show 20+ years ago...I remember it like it was yesterday
there sure are a lot of crazy fun cars back in the 90s, sad to not have been a part of that era :'(
The lines on that car absolutely gorgeous. Most modern cars are not that well thought out, not saying all, there is a ton of good examples, but that EB110 is in a class all on it's own.
Such an special car, one of my fav. Was so excited when you uploaded this video, great one Chris. CLK GTR next please
Just splendid! What a machine.. fantastic review mate!
So I guess the real question is would you rather have a Mclaren F1 or this sweetass EB110 SS? Chris delivers every time. Brilliant!!
