@@Thomas_de_Meijer the scale model worked great. I think the full scale sail will work too. I just have to watch a few stitching videos to stitch the luff pocket.
nice to get back to sails actually. I don't know when I will ever get to go sailing again....just living day to day and scrambling for the weather here...but I got ASA Sailing Challenge video game, for $4, for stress relief.
@@RulgertGhostalker I hope your situation improves. I don’t have much money for prototypes either but I do have a complete wood shop and lots of scrap wood. I got my last gallon of epoxy used off marketplace.
@@markpalmquist your shop is awesome .... I don't have a place out of the elements to work, except my tiny house which is always a mess for it.... I have a bike cover, and pretty accurate weather forecasts, which are the only reasons I was able to build up my bike, and that's my only vehicle....my workshop is more my CAD workstation, but it's a rough go sometimes.

Your channel popped up in my feed and I am very glad it did! Boats and woodworking - common interests it seems :)
Best wishes from Warsaw, Poland 👋
Great! I’ll keep posting fun stuff!
I like the "square top" lug sail!

With that many battens, why not go full batwing like the old canoe sailors used to use?
@@ConquerCollin what is full batwing? Is that 2 sails that open like a book?
