Because she - Judge Judy - is ultimately in charge even though she obviously has to have many people who snap to and do her bidding - SHE is the one in charge and doesn't stand for slip shod, less than precise, perfect production values. It is a testament to her personal as well as professional integrity that the show is as good as it is and why all the rest? Are only "also rans". The shows are wonderful lessons for us in how to make clear, pragmatic decisions about people and legal matters and if one pays attention teach us how to avoid the stupid pitfalls that the shows reveal people too often fall into by being lazy and disingenuous. That's why I watch her and why I admire her.
