@@anandmohan9296 Keralites aren't as self-assured as North Indians, especially when it comes to communicating in English. Even big stars like Mammootty and Mohanlal sometimes seem like oil and water with English-speaking interviewers. The advantage the new guys have is that they've had a lot more exposure to speaking in English.

For those who dont know Vineeth Sreenivasan's father , his father Sreenivasan is one of the most respected writer and actor in Malayalam Cinema. He is a brilliant film maker who make you laugh and think. The kind of satire and humorous movies he makes no one makes it today.

I write small stories in my mother tongue telugu. I echo his emotion of writing with pen and paper. As he said, we do not have backspace and the striken words form our journey...he is very much real and I completely relate to him..

41:14 The answer is very easy. Bollywood nepos take it for granted and they lack purpose whereas Malayalam nepos are skilled and passionate about their artwork. They are ready to put in the effort because they are well aware of the fact that Malayalees are overly critical and they cannot sustain with just a family name.
The only interview related to film after 15 or 20 years that is very genuine very simple very much informative ..when malayalam, movie standard increases the people who interview them should also increase...loved it..watched every second of it..

Wonderful indepth interview. What the hell are we doing in malayalam interviews... Rarely anyone goes into this level of depth into the process. Kudos to Anupama, and from Vineeths words its clear, all he needed was the right questions to get a peek into the mind of a filmmaker.

Mam, I rarely comment on interviews. And let me tell you, 45 minutes was not enough. This is one of the most genuine and entertaining interview of all out there. And your passion for asking such distinguished and genuine questions adds to it. Some of the questions when we hear, its so interesting to know the answer to it, for example asking vineethettan about writing scripts and music. Nowadays, all the interviews are filled with rapid fire rounds asking for “what do you eat for dinner..😅”. This should be a standard. Just asking genuine questions, I could see vineethettan speaking so passionately about it. Well done Film Companion ❤

Everything is online these days and there is no personal attachments.
That's why i have a thing for using wired earphones over wireless ones, as i feel a connection to the music i am listening to.
I still have my Sony Walkman casette player in good condition although defunct.
It still reminds me of the good time of doing all the physical work of choosing a cassette from a lot and inserting in the walkman and listening to it.
My dad had a small collection of Casettes , he lost everything during 2018 floods and he was really really sad. Trust me , I've never seen him be that sad for anything else.
Such a beautiful interview...brought out the unheard elements which seems missing in many interviews, watched to the end.
