One request to Bollywood, please don’t remake Aavesham
why.. !!
more business
more opportunities..
dont be that part of mallu audience without any clue of how much appreciation a remake brings us
No one can pull off fafa character Ranga in bollywood the swag, bgm no one.
@@user-ue4ok6bc8s yeah, and shouldn't we let _them_ prove it again and again..?
it will only bring more applause to our cinemas, even from the Hindi speaking belt 💯 that too AFTER paying our producers and writers for the rights..
it's a win-win situation
Many ppl who watch the remakes don't even know that it is a remake. Why should the subpar remakes make more money than the brilliant original?@@vishnunamboothiri3686
let them remake but with most of the same cast
Aavesham was an awesome theater experience!!!!!.. watching with crowd
in theater is what this movie was made for.
I think Prithviraj joined BMCM only to promote his movies GOAT LIFE and upcoming EMPURAN.
And?
@@AM-zb1epprithviraj main focus is to increase his contacts around all major film industries of India. Thats why he is acting in movies across South and bollywood.
He himself is a producer and distributor. So when his film releases, it will be easy to market in all other markets
Prithviraj doesn't need to join a mediocre Bollywood movie to market goat life and empuran. It picks up fame and attention by itself
True
@Sachi26291 no sachi even I think so cos he really wanted people up there in North to see goatlife that's why I think he released it before BMCM
17:02 Avesham
🥹💚 thanks bro
Thanks da ❤
Can you give time stamps for malayalam movie discussions
A below average movie
@@jimphilip6031whatever makes you feel better
1 GOATLIFE

Malayalam movies ❤❤️❤️❤️
Manjummel boys😇
Premalu ❤️
Aavesham & Varshangalkku shesham 🔥🔥🔥
The Malayalam movie era
Chamkila reminded me of a movie masterclass I attended by Anurag Kashyap . He showed us a South Indian movie which was the inspiration for Wasseypur . He said the movie had authentic clothes among overall authenticity like location et al . No fancy leather jacket was thrown in just to make the characters look good or to draw in a bigger audience . Same with Chamkila . The desire to make it non glam & authentic is very deep
Which South Indian movie??
Can i know which movie?
@@fretted4life Part 1
Start of the masterclass with Anurag Kashyap
Subramaniapuram It was one of the 3 movies that inspired Gangs of Wasseypur . He mentioned 2 other movies You can see their names in the credits of GOW
@@tksayyaf Part 1
Start of the masterclass with Anurag Kashyap
He tells us :
Subramaniapuram was one of the 3 movies that inspired Gangs of Wasseypur . He mentioned 2 other movies You can see their names in the credits of GOW
We re gonna see the movie WITHOUT subtitles non dubbed ! That 's how I have been seeing movies - learning a lot from the context
&
We are going to see the movie WITHOUT an interval Thats how movies should be seen
I ll be observing how many ppl get up & leave !
My thoughts : Wow What a true passionate man ! He loves to talk about movies He likes to be surrounded by ppl who love talking about movies & seeing movies . He is SEEING a movie with us for 3 hours in the same room with about 500 ppl !
Thank u mentioning subramaniapuram... No one talks about it.. That climax. Man..
That's good point on Aavesham emotional touch where Fafaa wanting that love and that I didn't have even likes in Instagram it made us emotional with laugh when a gangster said. It's truly amazing
Chamkila pierced my heart with a sharp arrow. The movie raised a lot of questions which put me into a lot of dilemmas. Vida Karo was the final nail that opened the flood gates. All the actors did perfect justice to their characters
Hit like those who skipped the other movies and come to Malayalam movies

No doubt..!
*1) Varshengalku Shesham* and
*2) Avvesham*
[The best movie in the past 2 weeks]
Both of the movies are too good in their own way ... ❤ they have their own stand alone story 👌🏻
What a music album Chamkila is
Does absolute justice to the brilliant combo of Imtiaz Ali and AR Rahman sir ❤
14:57 anupama chopra said the right varshangalke sesham😁
Haha, she’s been trying her best to learn! :)
@@FilmCompanionPlease tell me something you feel about Salman Khan why he not doing movies like sultan tiger zinda hai even his recent film has done well in past also his even tiger 3 movie was average I think Salman need to work with new director and I want Salman khan now has to stop his berojgar Yojana from director like remo prabhu Salman has to stop working with these director what do you think of This film companion anupama chopra
Aavesham was too good
Chamkila was absolutely masterclass. Diljith Dosanjh was amazing in the titular role. Finally, THE Imtiaz Ali is back with a bang 🫶👍
Here's my list of good malayalam movies of 2024:
1. Aatam
2. Family
3. Anweshippin kandethum
4. Premalu
5. Bhramayugam
6. Manjummel boys
7. Aadujeevitham
8. Aaveshan
9. Varshangalkku shesham
10. Jai Ganesh
11. Anchakkalakkokkan
Jai Ganesh product is just mediocre, acting is mediocre. The kidnap is the only thing that peaks people's interest even slightly.
Anchakalakokkan is a failed attempt as well. It feels like guy Ritchie and Quintin Tarantino met in munnar. But the problem is it's screenplay and delivery of the content. It's easily forgettable movie with no stand out stuff. You get these characters and stylish making n everything but that's all. There is nothing much more than that
Jai Ganesh and anchakalakokkan don't belong in this list as per me
Family?? Isn't it Falimy?
@@Ohh_blythe Family is another movie starring Vinay Fort. Falimy was from last year with Basil Joseph in lead
Tiger should quit acting and become a stunt double
Mahesh babu level ka actor hai wo 😂
😂😂
He shouldn't have started acting at the first place and became stunt double instead
There could be another way,
He should take break and go to a acting school and learn acting.
Happy to know you enjoyed Aavesham, BRAMAYUGAM, Manjummel Boys, Premalu, Goatlife and VS but please do watch Anchakallakokkan (Amazon Prime) and Anweshippin Kandethum (Netflix) also. Both were superb movies this year in Malayalam as well.
Both of you are fun to watch
Continue this segment more often!
Nice to know there’s a new instalment of this.
Yay….my two favorite are back
Great discussion guys!!🎉
I wish i could be a part of this. 🥺 These conversations are so good. I want to say the same thingd as Anmol about all these films 🌻
Chamkila was a stunning movie. I am glad it released on streaming. It was the best movie from Hindi Cinema this year. Also Diljit has come a long way as an actor. After watching Honsla Rakh to here is a huge change.
Your pronunciation of 'Varshangalkhu Shesham' was on point Ma'am 💯
28:35 - 29:02 - Most sensible thing said by a critic in a long time.
Last night I watched Aavesham and now I’m in awe of Fahad as Ranga omg !! Btw love you both 💜
You guys are back so quick this time!! ❤🎉
Thank you so very much Anupama ma'am and Anmol🤍🌺 you just increased my aavesham to watch it
I hope you both do more of this kind of videos in future. It's captivating!
FAFA and Nivin - my favourites😍. They are not young any more. They have this mentor/ uncle vibes now, which is not a bad thing. It was so good to see them embracing their physicality and age and become these crazy manic characters.
Chak de india and that 70 min speech,
Is still a master stroke
Avesham 🔥🔥🔥
This is so interesting. Great to see anmol sir on board. such a nice conversation..Wow, keep up the great work..Kudos
Anupam Chopra -True FAFA fan😍
I don't think a non - malayali wud ever get the underlying emotion behind Varshangalku sheham...as a matter of fact, even amongst malayalies, its only the millenials who are going to get it completely...Vineeth himself being a Millenial and also the son of Sreenivasan, taps into that ultimate fantasy of a cine loving Malayalee millenial...which is, to recreate on screen the closest that he can to the Dasan-Vijayan Duo(Mohanlal-Sreenivasan)...its something that remains in the realm of pure fantasy coz both Mohanlal and Sreenivasan are much older now and even if they do come together on screen, it's never going to be the same...by bringing together their real life sons; Pranav and Dhyan, Vineeth has tapped into that emotion...not that the movie doesn't have a storyline or other elements worth enjoying...It's been almost a week since I saw the movie and I still haven't gotten over Nivin's cameo...so much so that the very next day when I saw Aavesham, none of the jokes in it invoked any laughs in me...that's how hillarious Nivin was...and God the music, all the tracks r running in loop inside my head...but as a millenial, I can easily say that the Dasan - Vijayan emotion is what lies at the core of the movie...I just cant explain the sense of nostagia it invoked in me when I saw that last scene where Pranav and Dhayan stare into the camera...it bought back my whole childhood and teenage and 20s in which Dasan and Vijay were a constant presence
Wholly agree .....you put it perfectly 👍🏼
What gas bro … keep it simple ain’t no bullshit here .
Why so many words to justify …….I feel the works should speak for itself than people just trying to back it up …… lets people have their own perception of the movie and its creativity why mess up their imagination
It’s just what the movie did to you bro ………. Doesn’t mean it can do the same to everyone else
@@a4d5g it's my choice to write what i want...if u feel it's bullshit, that's ur problem...deal with ur shit bro
Anu is very confident and had a strong grip over the vocabulary is evident in how she without any problem formulates her thoughts
👍👍
i think varshangalkku shesham is so enjoyable for mallus because there is so much real world reference that only mallu's can relate, people from other state may not feel connected most of the time that's understandable
cringe 😂😂😂.....that's y mixed opinions
mam u said the title with excellence kudos to uuuuuu
Loved the conversation. Both of you seem to connect even when you differ, for example Maidaan. Having said that, Chamkila did take away everything. I'm so overwhelmed by that, I'm not watching anything other than Chamkila now. Some part of the movie can be watched repeatedly..
Chamkila isn't complete with ARR's Music! This album will be remembered for a very long time!
#Aavesham 🔥🔥❤
Loved "varshangalkku shesham". Enjoyed it from start to finish. Haven't watched the other movies yet
Aavesham❤❤❤❤❤
Anupama Chopra ji wanted to say something nice for BMCM but was speechless hence took her frustration on Maidaan, which is a far superior movie....no words for the other 3 though, masterpieces!!!
Eda mone🥰🔥
I think chamkila 2024 one of most hyped n most viral n successful movie that make chamkila movie one of the biggest movie of 2024❤and diljit will definitely win best actor award for suree or national award❤
sorry, Prithvi will take it for Goat life, maybe next time
Fan of both of you. ❤
Great conversation 🤗
National Awards I think Prithviraj deserves his award for The Goat Life and that too in the same year as Diljit's incredible performance. I do not think this award should be shared but I would like to see Diljit get his flowers
People assume that it must be easier for Diljit because he is from Punjab, Singer etc . But what makes it look easy is his ability to emotionally connect to the character, and be true/ honest to it. The honesty/innocence in those eyes is what beats your heart. No other singer or actor in the country could have pulled off this role like that. 🙏 #amarsinghchamkila ❤
Just one suggestion to Anupama to please not interrupt in between...let the other person complete his conversation 😊
Loved Aavesham❤❤❤
Loved it❤
0:26 what amazes me most about Fahad is he is not "Film Companion"!
Well, that is indeed a wonderful compliment
more of this , please
Only aavesham
ARR showed why no one can match him.... Ishq mitaye and baaja are crazy tracks..it takes time to sink in , but once it does there's no going back....
Please do an interview with the director of aavesham
Neru , Abraham Ozler
Brahmayugam
Premalu , Majumal Boys
Now Varshangalku Shesham and Aavesham
This year was epic.
Anmol amazing way he put his review in words
After soooooo longggggg....
When talking about the journalist.. Anmol almost gave example of Anupama Chopra interviewing Sandeep vanga
Malayalam movie =
Varshangalku sesham :14.57
Avesham :17.02
Up to 21.50
Eda mone 🔥🔥 ranga rocked,
I wonder does Anu misses on shitty movies with big banners and big heroes deliberately to skip the wrath of powerful people or if she does not want to offend certain ppl.
you guys are awesome! Anmol is getting better and better with each episode! Btavo!!!
I never miss interviews done by Anupama mthe am, she is a true cinephile💯 huge luv& respect from kerala
God bless you both
Varshangalkku shesham was a bliss❤
While discussing Chamkila.. when Anmol speaks about the Crtitc judging an artist's character from the body of their work... I felt he was trying to hint about Sandeep Vanga Reddy.
So nice to see Anmol getting the recognition he deserves...he's one of the few indian youtube reviewers who has always maintained his dignity and integrity in his reviews
Mam we need an interview with FaFa please ❤
We love films but cannot go to the theatres now due to less time and the ticket costs . All those theatres who use to offer tickets for less are closed and taken over by multiplex. Its better to wait for ott release
09:15 chamkilla
Thanks for letting me know. Easier to skip now
Thanks a lot.
You want to see how good a villain Pritiviraj is, watch Kanaa Kandeen, his first Tamil movie.
I like this agree to disagree, very friendly discussion. This is how review discussions should be. Yes you like it, I don't... but we can sit together and talk about it.
Fafaa spoke fluently in kannada and uncomfortably in Malayalam. Which is in character with an mallu orphan who grew up in Karnataka. But such a difficult thing for a mallu to pull off. I wish that was more obvious to all viewers.
Two favourites
Could you please watch Shogun and discuss it? I know Anmol has seen it and fanboyed to the extent to visit Osaka castle.
btw the sidekick baddie in Maidan is Rudranil not indranil
Tried and refused productions guy ❤❤ his sound is very familiar
Being from Kerala.. I would say, only recently the non Keralites have explored the Malayalam movies.
From my childhood, I have been watching Malayalam movies, and they are top-notch 👌🏻
But 2024 has been stellar.. all the moves are super duper hits [the success rate is much more than every before]
As a Telugu guy, even my family and I were watching Malayalam movies since long time. Its just that you are not aware how far the content from mammookka, laletta, rajetta, fafa ,etc are going. Just keep encouraging such good content
@filmcompanion can we please time stamp these videos?
We need a separate Aavesham review from anupama
Chamkila & Aavesham 🔥🔥🔥
You have to watch anchakkallakokkan
Chamkila was superb
Agree with anupama on maidaan
Wow film companion.. You got jammy pants anmol on the show.. Way to go...
Watching two movie nerds talking about movies is so fun to watch ❤
Aaavesham was craaazy!
Grate Chamkila movie ❤❤
Aavesham ❤️🧿🔥🔥🔥
Aavesham 🔥
It's sad that the team gets over the project after it's released but the audience wants to talk more and more about it because they have JUST watched it. I have so many questions, anecdotes, praises and just random conversations about Chamkila but Diljit, Imtiaz and Parineeti have moved on to the next now. I feel abandoned.
Aavesham♥️♥️
Chamkila movie great
Once you notice it
It's hard to ignore
The constant Awwww.....
Of ANMOL its very funny
Like he had a big lunch 😁😁😁😁
Fafa fan in me : goosebumps💥🔥🔥
Varahangalku shesham in malayalam means = years later ❤
