Great vlog. Scenery is stunning. The more I see of Cheshire the more I need to go and check it out. That was a bloody climb. Well done , worth it at the end, though..❤
Our relief when we thought we were at the top only to see another higher point 🫣🤣 As Paul would say 'Not bad for 58!' 🤣 and I would say that a hearing aid needs to be added to that list Martin as well 🤣😍
wow how beautiufl it is up at the top, England is such a beautiful country. My hubby was born and bred in Cheshire Northwich, me I was born and bred in South Wales, I emigrated to Australia with my parents in 1976....But the winner of this weeks Vvlog.... drum role....... has to be Ernie....... yep..... he's the best boater so far......love him...
We love Cheshire Lynn. And we won't be too far from your birth place soon as we head onto the Llangollen canal. Ernie is a true character and loves hos boating adventures 😊
Well, that was a lovely episode, great scenery with delightful music (who picks it). It is almost a shame when it ends. Look after, Ernie, another starring role, love that dog! Thanks for all your input and information! Those of us less able really appreciate it!
Hi guys, It was nice to see you on the Llangollen, at Swanley Bridge Marina, on Sept. 25. We really enjoy your vlogs, especially Ernie's comments. We walked up to Castell Dinas Bran while in Llangollen. It's not as challenging as the Bosley Cloud, but the views are great. Bryan & Donna, Quebec, Canada
Hi Bryan and Donna. Nice to have met you, albeit briefly. Hope you enjoyed your holiday. I shall look up the Castell Dinas Bran and hopefully we can visit roo. Don't forget to keep a look out for yourselves in the vlog. It will be about 4 weeks time as we are quite a bit ahead in real time with all the travelling we've been doing of late. 😊
Cheshire is lovely. We are very blessed to live here. The Cloud is a great walk, so glad you enjoyed it. Peover is pronounced "pee ver" by the way. As a Lancashire Lass, I had to be educated on Cheshire pronunciations by my hubby 😂❤
I can't get over how absolutely beautiful the English countryside is, especially along the Macclesfield. Thank you for sharing it with us. Well done on the climb up the Cloud and gorgeous shots of you all at the top. Thanks guys. Cheers.
Cor blimey Ernie had a lot to say this week he's hoping to be the main presenter in a few weeks. All three of you made me sweat just watching you climb the cloud I'm exhausted, great content again enjoyable watching, thank you. 👍
Thanks guys, it a beautiful canal, the Mac Sooze and I were on it two years ago, loved it, Nice long video again Liz, we look forward to them We're moored at just before Fazeley junction so we had to watch it before we head out for a nice meal somewhere. Thanks for the upload and looking forward to next week now 😀
Great vid as usual guys, I passed you on my way up as you set off for the cloud now on my way back down too .good to see same journey through different eyes. Stay safe. Cheers.phil
Have a bunk up hahaha! Long time since I heard that one lol. Wow how stunning were those views! That's a crackin picture of you three on the top, and perfect weather for it to. You can'r beat the northern canals, I know I keep going on about em but I love em :) You would of loved the L&L . It does knock your confidence a bit when you have a bump but you soon get it back Paul, just keep in mind that Stevie Wonder could have got through those bridges! haha! :) If you wanna see a video on Tixall it's on the Tube. You brighten what has turned out to be a gloomy and wet week, great vlog as always :)
Certainly has been a wet, gloomy week hasn't it. Hopefully we have a couple of dry days due now. I know it's such a shame we can't take this boat on the L&L but never say never 😉 maybe one day we will do it with a different boat perhaps. Think we've seen the video on tixal that cruising the cut made. I just love the sound of it, I grin from ear to ear every time I see the boat 😁 Hope you have a good rest of week. See you next time 😊
I didn't realise that you are unable to bring your boat up to Yorkshire! That is a real shame, your boat is lovely BUT I am now looking forward to seeing the episode titled shopping for a new boat! 😂 Yorkshire is the best place to be 👍
Yes Ann, unfortunately we are too long at 68ft. 62ft is the length for Yorkshire canals and I've heard even that length is a tight fit in some locks. Such a shame as I've visited Yorkshire many of times as a child and loved it so let's just say..never say never 😉😊
Morena Liz, Paul & Ernie 🙂 Paul huffing and puffing up the Cloud... great views from up top too. Always good to carry snack bars and water on those hikes.🙂Peover Lane aka Golden Shower Lane 🙂 Ernie having a bit to say this week and tell it like it really is 🙂 Gosh so many narrowboats moving about... and I hope the boat stuck didn't stay stuck for too long 🙂You all have a awesome week 🙂 Roll onto next week for the big unveiling... 🙂nz

The Macclesfield Canal is beautiful .Paul, on average, each bullock (beast ),in that field is worth about £1500.00 that why beef is so expensive. See you next Wednesday.
Wow that's a fair price to be fair, such lovely bullocks. The Macclesfield is a fab canal, one of which we have really enjoyed exploring. See you next week sue 😊
Hello Liz & Paul. We really enjoy your videos. We can't believe you don't have more viewers. We have more or less done the same waterways as you this summer. We also love Ernie. We have just lost our beautiful German Shepherd, and we are now thinking of getting an Ernie. Could I ask exactly what mix he is. Cocker Spaniel, small poodle or large poodle ect. He is just gorgeous. Many thanks 😊
Hi Helen, we love to hear that you enjoy the videos. Thank you so much for watching them. Ernie is a medium labradoodle. His mum was a labradoodle and his dad was a poodle. Just as a heads up though, as much as we love him, he is nuts🤣 definitely not chilled like a labrador and definitely a bit anxious and excitable like a poodle. So sorry to hear that you lost your German Shepherd, its such a heartbreak isn't it. An Ernie would definitely keep you entertained that's for sure 😉😀

Waw! That was such a wonderful vlog! I loved the views from the Cloud, so crisp! I was wondering if you guys have a filtration system on the boat for the water. Or a CO2 meter? Great to see Cptn Erns getting a good walk and hopefully some treats! ❤🎉❤
Hi Eric, no we haven't got a filtration system. We fill our plastic water tank with drinking water direct from the taps, however we don't drink it only if boiled just to be on the safe side 😀
I live at astbury and know congleton inside out as being a postie their, and that water point at bridge 68 on that side used to be the old British waterways yard where dredging equipment used to be moored.
