Oh my gosh this video was perfect! My tastes are exactly yours, preferring simplicity to allow texture and the beauty of the yarn to shine rather than being distracted by color but the heart socks were adorable!
Have decided to knit my mom some socks for Christmas but she LOVES France and so I want to use a special yarn from there so I can save the label and maybe there would be a story I could include about the spinning/dying/shop where the yarn came from or something. I just enjoy so much hearing the story that inspired a designer so I would like to pass that on to her. 🥰

I just recently learned magic loop so I am thrilled to start knitting socks! Knitting socks and sweaters is the entire reason why I learned to knit. I want to be as self sufficient as possible.

Love sock blockers, now trying to find pointed mitten blockers. You made a Tripp to a shop once but I lost the video. Would love to buy a kit with blockers. Think the mittens started with a L.

With the socks your going to make from Gregoria Fibers (the color is beautiful!), you could wear them when your going to be knitting/reading/youtubing (something relaxing) in bed. I do that with socks I like that I don't want to ruin. I'll just slip them off if I'm gonna go walk around the house or something. :)
