Hi Melody! Fireweed is native to my home as well! (Newfoundland,Canada) I have made a fireweed jelly from the blossoms. It's a beautiful color.

I really enjoyed watching this video. Seeing you knit makes me want to pick up my current project and knit even though I have other things to do first. :)

It's so good to see you here Eva!
Oh yes... I know what you mean. I haven't been able to knit for a couple of days last week and I really didn't know what to do with myself because sitting=knitting. :)

Where can I find the pattern or how you learned to do your first pair of socks. Knitting socks is my goal for this year and I don't know where to begin. Thank you !!

So beautiful. Thank you! I really want to know what the stitch pattern is, you are working on your golden knitting... but will wait to see if this is a pattern you are going to bring out on Ravelry!
I was also wondering about your beautiful sweater. What pattern is this? I have watched this video after a long gap, so if you made this, you would have mentioned it previously, so apologies for that.

Hello Mariya! It is! I went to the market yesterday and bought some more! I know the Russian name for it (that's how we call it at home most of the time actaully), but I don't speak Russian :)

Is that a sweater you made? I love the drape and would love to know the yarn you used, if you made it. :)
I recently learned to do *shadow wraps* for the wrap and turns in my heel and no holes! It's very easy too, but it took a friend of mine to show me how to do it properly.

I've actually found it in a charity shop! I fell in love with it at the moment I saw it!
That"s a technique that I've heard of many times but never tried!
I managed to fix the hole (because there was only one actually) on the left side of the heel flap by picking up a specific stitch that I knit through the backloop!

Oh, that's a great tip too! Thank you :)
