I think the 254 is my choice after researching mostly the 224 and the T25. One is too small and one is too big for my needs. The 254 seems to fall right in the sweet spot for me.
@@AndyDHouse33 The big differences between the T254 and T264/T25 are size and lift capacity. The T264/T25 both weigh 200-300 pounds more (before considering attachment weight). The loader capacity of the T254 is around 900-950 lbs (this spec has been updated since this video was released). The capacity of the T264/T25 loaders is almost 1400 lbs. Probably the deciding factors just on the tractors themselves are how much work you're going to do and where you're going to do it. The T264 or T25 will be able to do a lot more work more quickly. However, the smaller size of the T254 enables it to get into some places that might not be as practical for its larger siblings (narrow gates, for instance). Also, some who have driven both platforms feel like because the T254 sits a little lower than the T264 (and T25), it gives them a better feeling of stability on uneven terrain.
Nice looking little tractor, nice loader, nice backhoe attachment, good layout on comfort. What happened in the Transmission Department;; just a measly 2 speed & NO Gear Drive option!! There a 5 other manufacturers within 95% of " like similarities, but with 3 Speed hydros & gear options. Is this "tractor" catering to previous "wheelbarrow & shovel" users for an upgrade.
Love this tractor and enjoyed using the backhoe.

Cant have the backhoe and the mower deck. You have to make a unintall of bolted on parts to use the mower deck
To bad you didn't show how to remove the backhoe.
I refer to tractors this size as overgrown wheelbarrows.
