Whepaa, You went from old school Carne Guisada, to the new improved Puerto Rican "Jetsons" Carne Guisada, using that technologically advance pressure cooker 😜
I have been doing it your way for a while with my old school Farberware Stainless Steel Pot Set , I bought over 25 years ago when Farberware Factory used to be in the Bronx.
Now I just bought an "Emeril Lagasse" all on one pressure Cooker, So when I saw your new video, I gave it a shot. It was pretty easy and all came out great.

hey girl, I want to see you make CUAJITO. I lived in VEGA BAJA for several years and they used to make the best cuajito en salsa I've ever had. of course I would add ketchup to it and eat with guineitos. I've seen on youtube several videos but I'm like "eh". So please girl, do some cuajitos. I love your recipes.

True but you can always put it in the oven or broiler to get that crunchiness, or use an air fryer lid for the instant pot.
@@sweetsandbeyond Pollo guisado! My chicken always turns out chewy! No matter what recipe I use! Also what if I wanted to add like 6 instead of 4 potatoes? How would I adjust the time? Asking for a friend...

Does the flavor change using the instapot? Like does it have more flavor or it’s the same as when you cook it on the stove top? Just curious.. I’ve made sancocho inside my instapot and on my stove top and the sancocho have a deeper flavor inside my instapot so just wondering 💭 lol

You can use regular tomato sauce
I'm making this tonight, but wondering why you used the rice setting after you put the vegetables in, instead of the stew setting.
Because it was easier to go up two for 8 minutes. The chicken setting is preset at 15
no bay leaves? I ask because in one of your other videos you used bay leaves to make carne guisada.
This is another version of carne guisada. You can use them if you want
Making this right now. ❤With a traditional pressure cooker. The cook times aren’t the same. The meat wasn’t totally softened & the stew wasn’t thickened. Still takes over an hour overall- waiting for the pressure to naturally release is another 10+ minutes. Each time pot comes off the stove, takes more time to heat back up. Veggies weren’t soft at all after 8 or even 15 minutes. The meat had no flavor and got harder instead of softer. I’m so frustrated. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. This is a new pressure cooker. When I’ve used instant pots, I get the same results. Haven’t made a pot meal in years bc same always happens. Someone pls HELP! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
