    Look delish. Thank you for sharing. You can also mix a small glass of water, add a spoonful of flour, and add this later to your stew while it's simmering, and it will still thicken into a nice sauce.

    This an exact replica of another UA-cam channel's recipe. Sweets and Beyond. I bet you got the homemade sazon and adobo from her as well. It's not an original recipe to you.

    • @anewyoricanthingkitchen1195
      @anewyoricanthingkitchen1195  6 років тому +10

      Hello it's common ingredients in traditional Puerto Rican Cuisine, Funny Thing about Puerto Rican Cuisine is that there are variations, but the process and ingredients will be very similar, so if my recipe is similar to Sweets and Beyond then that would make sense. Im sure 2 Italian Chefs would have similiar recipes for their marinara sauce. It's funny how things work like that! As for Sazon and Adobo, that is a staple all Puerto Rican use and yes I make my own. Salud

      Mara, I just came from the video you referenced. The ingredients are the same but they are dissimilar in the approach. S/B fries her sofrito, extra garlic and cilantro, Anewyoricanthing does not. The later adds culantro, S/B does not.
