People keep saying why would Jinni left (on her own behalf) when she already spent 6 years training under JYP. Well, my answer is, Yedam is the longest trainee in the whole YG history and he still manage to leave Treasure in order to pursue his real passion and dreams :"""
The way they’re erasing all her content makes me think she left on her own accord and asked for all content of her to be removed, if so; we should respect her decision and stop making baseless rumors.
I honestly don’t think a company as big as JYP would let a 10 month old rookie come into management’s office and say “I just don’t think idol life is for me. I’d like to return home and please erase me from the company”. They’d say “buckle up buttercup. We have a contract.” Even if they did let her leave because she just wanted to they would not spend the LOTS of money it takes to erase her just to please her. Companies only spend money when it benefits them somehow.
Funny because people use this as evidence for the exact opposite. Either way I saw someone make a good point that whether she was kicked out or left on her own, she’s now considered a private citizen, not their employee, so they wouldn’t be allowed to put out content with her in it
i know you already made a video on kara but can you make a second one since they had a comeback? lol i love your style of videos and you go over the history of groups very well i think kara’s journey deserves revisiting because they achieved great success and i think they represent hope for longevity in the kpop industry for all groups who wish to continue on especially after receiving their first win on music bank today. this is just a suggestion and i’m sorry to be commenting this on an unrelated video but it just popped up on my feed and i had this thought.

The first listenings to the song to me felt weird and I tried to understand and so I watched alot of their other videos. I absolutley adore them. Who knows. Its unrealistic she returnes which would me one of my wishes.
Nmixx actually reminds me a lot of mamamoo. It's a group of loud goofballs with incredible vocals. They all have a theater kid vibe to them both on and off stage. I feel like that's their greatest strength compared to other 4th gen girl groups, theatricality.
Honestly I didn’t give them a chance til I heard Lily and realized they are all fairly vocally talented and no shade to those who don’t sing live, but live vocals are what makes me happy to listen to. But Tank chorus hurts too much.
Why did Jinni leave? "We will never know" Makes the title video: "Jinni never actually wanted to leave Nmixx" Reaction to rumors: "they are false, and have no proof" I don't know about you, but there seems to be some inconsistencies with this content. Notice the link between her scandal and Sulyoon's twitter scandal? Both are supposedly involved with Younite members (Steve for Jinni for instance) some of which used to be in JYP.
I think it was a forced leave, it happens to any company when you did something against the rules or under performed. Maybe a rule was broken by Jinni in a reason we don’t know. For a good certificate of employment and publicity. What company will do to their employee is to force leave or make a resignation/termination of contract. Hoping that Jinni will recover herself from this situation. It’s hard to see nmixx without even 1 original member. Hoping for nmixx success in the future events and also Jinni for her future career.
it's funny how people keep bringing up woojin when woojin left on his own and it was exactly like this, they're trying to say jype kicked her while comparing it to someone who left on their own lol

Me and my best friend were talking about who'll be the next ROTY this year, a couple of weeks ago AND despite the drama surrounding O.O and their debut, like genuinely if u think about this objectively, compare to the other gg that debuted this year, ALL of NMIXX member have the vocal capability like really strong vocal and DANCE. Like none of them are the hole in any of these (in terms of vocal and dance). And even though O.O started to grow on me, but the moment they debuted Idky but Jinni caught my attention right away. I truly thaught oh is she the face of the group/visual/center? But yeah... then this happens :((

Dude, it's been a few months since she left the group. I still cant believe this situation as I watched her vlive vod the day before she left and I was fall for her. I'm still hurt, but I hope she's okay out there.
Thank you for not mentioning of the rumours. I am a huge fan of NMIXX. This year they have become my favourite group, my comfort group. It was shocking to hear that she left, but like another commenter said, I do think that dreams change. Jinni was so young when she became a trainee. I really doubt she even understand what being an idol TRULY meant when she was that young. She most likely stayed due to the expectations and had dedicated so much time to being a kpop idol. She seemed truly happy during her debut, I wonder if maybe she was happy to have finally proven herself to those who had high expectations of her. During DICE there was a massive change in Jinni's behaviour, confidence and overall demeanour. She wasn't as bubbly, comfortable and happy as she was during O.O. Just from pure observation. She revealed a lot about the way she felt about herself during Bubble messages. Many people bring up the fact she mentioned she loved being an idol and wanted to make her fans happy. I think it's easy for people to live with the guilt of others expecting so much from you. I'm sure she was happy to have fans, have people who support her, but at the same time, that doesn't mean she can't be unhappy with being an idol. Being an idol is probably far from easy or fun. Yes, it must be rewarding to those who love dancing, singing and performing, but it's such a hard job. The countless criticism of both random people, fans, but also your own company. It must be so exhausting constantly being criticized. The expectations and pressure of others also wouldn't help. Jinni, wherever you are; we will support you no matter what. Whether you are in NMIXX, whether you're not; whether you want to be an idol or not. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you want to do.
Whatever it is hats off to jype for letting her go so early without tarnishing her (and other ex artist's) image and still giving them hope of starting fresh..... And people will not acknowledge this, they will just call out jype for bad things they did decade ago I also feel jinni got better offer from some other company ( idk just a feeling)
Nathan, I can feel your support of NMIXX, it really shows in this video. However, compared to the high quality, researched videos you have put out in the past, this video has very little substance. I also think the video's title is very clickbait. I think this video should have entitled something like "my thoughts on Jinni leaving and how I grew to stan NMIXX".
_IF_ Jinni wasn't fired for breaking some random JYPE rule, then it stands to reason that one of two things happened… *One:* She realized the Idol life wasn't what she had hoped (we watched her spirit slowly break down in real-time), or… *Two:* She's still a minor in Korea, so her parents ended her contract after learning she didn't take Uni entrance exams Could also be a combination of both… Again, that's assuming she didn't commit a fireable offense
I know this is about jinni but I would just like to say, I believe Lily stand at the pinnacle of 4th gen vocals. And NMIXX is probably the best group vocally of the 4th generation. NMIXX and AESPA
Jinni is an INFJ. Never underestimate an INFJ’s choices. It’s obvious to me that people saw so much potential in her abilities. But that is not the potential that is true to her nature. So she departed and is now following something thats away from all these expectations. It’s like a dance mom living her dreams through her child. In this case, the fans and company were living through her like a pageant mom. Shes not a someone who follows other’s expectations.
I love NMIXX with Jinni in it. But for some weird reason, the first time I saw NMIXX was in their debut music video and when I saw Jinni, I immediately felt that someday she would leave the group. Not in a bad way though, but there was something in my head saying that she has the charisma of a soloist (or a face of an actress??) Definitely not saying she'll continue on as a soloist/actress now that she has left the group, but yeah... this news was not that surprising for me.
Fun fact: my birthday date is NMIXX’s anniversary I miss jinni so much, to be honest NMIXX is like stray kids it’s not the concept it’s beacuse Will you first hear NMIXX and stray kids for the first time the music it’s kind of funky beacuse your ears it’s not used to the music style or never Heard it. But when you continue replaying it it’s actually really good if you give it a chance I think that’s why people think O.O is the worst debut music video ever.
This is just a theory, but i think this might even be media play. Why am I saying that? Because some of the biggest 4th gen gg had a member leave bring them more spotlight- Eg: LeSeraffim or (g)-idle. After one of each of the group's members left, the groups relatively gained more popularity. Take it with a grain of salt tho, because its just a theory
I just hope they don’t replace her with someone else I mean I they did I won’t hate on them but I would miss Jinni’s voice in O.O- DICE-Funky Glitter Christmas
This has some hidden agenda on it.. It's becoming a curse to jyp... starting in stray kids,, hope they cut this curse immediately soon,, l support jyp artist songs cause its soo good...
I really feel like something really shitty happened with Jinni. I don’t see her actually leaving on her own will after being a trainee for so long and finally debuting. My best guess is that she either broke some rule or imo the most likely is the horrible cancel culture that many other idols have gone through with some person accusing jinni of past negative behavior which JYP just kicked her out to avoid all the scandal and negative attention to the group. Whatever it was I just hope jinni is doing okay as she was my bias after dice as O.O was a pile of turd nuggets.
In my opinion, Jinni leave not because she doing something bad or she have bad relationship with JYPEnt. Its more like personal reason like health or mental condition or anything else. Its because the official message from JYPEnt is different from other message. Many people said that its not her decision to leave because she haave 6 years of trainee and she very happy to debut, but what people forget is trainee life and idol life is really different. She will get many more pressure as team and as herself, and the public opinion about their group, their song, even herself is will really affecting her and will affecting her mental health. And it didnt not possible since he still a minor and mental health is really important than the others. About the viral video on twitter, if you believe its about mental health, you can see she have a panic attack so she just crying because she need to keep hold it so her fans cant see that she is struggling. Eventough they are friends, the members is still young and they become a group not a long ago. So maybe the members didnt know what they must do to help Jinni and that's when its become more harder for Jinni (and its absolutely not members fault, only stupid people will think like that). And not a long ago, a post that said its from Jinni teacher said its Jinni own decision to leave the group and company (but didnt say what the reason). So its will stop people to speculation something bad happen to Jinni or she violating the company rules, so she must kicked out from the group.
To be honest they are up their with stray kids and itzy because these girls are very confident strong beautiful girls. Not sure what the fuss is about their music and change…sm in the golden era of Kpop had I got a boy with snsd….that was was 3 songs mixed in one and was well received. okay but you're talking about her like she died, people who dont know what happened are gonna see comments like this and are gonna end up thinking the worst happened
@@shea1354 ey, that’s your interpretation about it is different from people. She didn’t die, your exaggerating it when it doesn’t need exaggeration. It’s totally fine

no they won't, jinni left which means they are now 6, repeating the same thing can be harmful to both the members and jinni. also what's with the "rival" thing??
People keep saying why would Jinni left (on her own behalf) when she already spent 6 years training under JYP. Well, my answer is, Yedam is the longest trainee in the whole YG history and he still manage to leave Treasure in order to pursue his real passion and dreams :"""
The fact that I wanted to get to know them more because I really like Dice and then JYP pulls out a bs card out of nowhere brooo
Mate this isn't some regular job where you walk in, give your 2 weeks and then peace out.
Funny because people use this as evidence for the exact opposite. Either way I saw someone make a good point that whether she was kicked out or left on her own, she’s now considered a private citizen, not their employee, so they wouldn’t be allowed to put out content with her in it
@@ellapetal It;s quite obvious JYP kicked her out. not fuking way she'd leave on her own accord.

i know you already made a video on kara but can you make a second one since they had a comeback? lol i love your style of videos and you go over the history of groups very well i think kara’s journey deserves revisiting because they achieved great success and i think they represent hope for longevity in the kpop industry for all groups who wish to continue on especially after receiving their first win on music bank today. this is just a suggestion and i’m sorry to be commenting this on an unrelated video but it just popped up on my feed and i had this thought.

I’m still just not ok. I won’t be ok till Jinni debuts with another group. She’s too talented to not have a great career.
I didn't understand it at first but looking back to her bubble messages, she hinting it already after the dice promo ended. How she wants to go on her own way. Live life without having to pretend to be that perfect idol. She also talked about wanting to live alone when she became an adult. She's a brave one and I admire her for that. I just hope wherever our Choi Yunjin goes, she'll be happy and successful.
Try reading her bbl message from 10 24 onwards until December. It will all be there.
@@05hae1 I knew that she wasn’t kicked out, you can see that her expression isn’t happy and she seemed like she lost confidence I feel bad for her but I’m happy she’s living a good life now

Being a idol isn't full of joy and stardom. It's really difficult and takes a lot of work of dedication. It's not the life for anyone. I may never fully understand, why she chose to do so, but I respect her choices nonetheless. God bless you Jinni, and I hope your future is full of joy like you.
Also, I realize NMIXX is under the six-member curse....plssss don't let it happen to NMIXX. I love them too much.
I think she was caught doing something forbidden from JYP company. No way she was feeling under pressure or anything like that because she was doing so fine even in her last days with her group
if something wrong at jyp's part, i hope dispatch can reveal it to us...
Kiss is a cover, it's rainbow's song originally :)
Omg your explanation how you fell in love with the members... I feel this so much. The first listenings to the song to me felt weird and I tried to understand and so I watched alot of their other videos. I absolutley adore them.
On Jinni it broke my freaky fishy heart to say the least. I hope she is okay and can still somehow follow her dreams. Maybe her interests shifted. Maybe something mentally or with her family.
LMAO
Why did Jinni leave? "We will never know"
Makes the title video: "Jinni never actually wanted to leave Nmixx"
Reaction to rumors: "they are false, and have no proof"
I don't know about you, but there seems to be some inconsistencies with this content. Why do you say we will never know the reasons for leaving, but then make a declarative title, while claiming rumors are false when "we will never know the reason"?

2PM, Wonder Girls, Day6, Stray Kids and Nmixx lost a member very early... JYP is kinda cursed but its a weird kinda curse.
Notice the link between her scandal and Sulyoon's twitter scandal? Both are supposedly involved with Younite members (Steve for Jinni for instance) some of which used to be in JYP.
What Twitter scandal?

A great loss for NMIXX, but JINNI will always be forever loved !❤❤
This makes me cry 😢
I think it was a forced leave, it happens to any company when you did something against the rules or under performed. Maybe a rule was broken by Jinni in a reason we don’t know. For a good certificate of employment and publicity. What company will do to their employee is to force leave or make a resignation/termination of contract.
Hoping that Jinni will recover herself from this situation.
It’s hard to see nmixx without even 1 original member. Hoping for nmixx success in the future events and also Jinni for her future career.
it's funny how people keep bringing up woojin when woojin left on his own and it was exactly like this, they're trying to say jype kicked her while comparing it to someone who left on their own lol
jype makes it clear when someone is kicked out yet people still wanna make up stuff, + the members already knew it seems and you can tell she realized it was her last time with fans and she got a lot of hate...
Exactly. And with him too, it was literally just before a comeback. He filmed the mv, took part in the voice recordings of bsides and all that. But still left right before promotions.
Her case is just like stray kids. She is 💯 kicked out and the only reason is dating. That's all. I just think like these trainees worked so hard, and only 0.01% debut and still their popularity is like a dream, and still if had chosen love life, she has guts.

I wish she could just come back. like I know that's not really possible at this point, but I wish if she did leave to her own accord that she could've stuck out longer with nmixx and maybe those feelings would pass. but if she was removed I wish they would've just gave her a warning and keep her in the group as she was such a valuable member. it just sucks and make my heart heavy. I hope she debuts solo or she opens an instagram or something so we can still keep up to date with her, if that's what she wants.
Lot of ppl gave O.O hell.. it was my number 1 song on spotify wrapped this year lol
But yeah... then this happens :((
im literally heart broken
u made me cry with that montage at the end :(

Have you done a vid on apink? Because I'm genuinely curious about what happened to them. I barely know anything from them unfortunately.
she might have wanted to continue her studies even though she had trained for years
if that was the case she wouldnt have dropped out of school a few months before the exam that would allow her to go to college
you debut until you don’t
Whatever it is hats off to jype for letting her go so early without tarnishing her (and other ex artist's) image and still giving them hope of starting fresh..... And people will not acknowledge this, they will just call out jype for bad things they did decade ago
I also feel jinni got better offer from some other company ( idk just a feeling)
Mama awards were incredible
Nathan, I can feel your support of NMIXX, it really shows in this video. However, compared to the high quality, researched videos you have put out in the past, this video has very little substance. I also think the video's title is very clickbait. I think this video should have entitled something like "my thoughts on Jinni leaving and how I grew to stan NMIXX".
Then it wouldn’t get the clicks lolol remember UA-camrs have to work for the algorithm lol
@@markigirl2757 You right

That's a long ass video just to say "I don't know" at the end...
_IF_ Jinni wasn't fired for breaking some random JYPE rule, then it stands to reason that one of two things happened…
*One:* She realized the Idol life wasn't what she had hoped (we watched her spirit slowly break down in real-time), or…
*Two:* She's still a minor in Korea, so her parents ended her contract after learning she didn't take Uni entrance exams
Could also be a combination of both… Again, that's assuming she didn't commit a fireable offense
8:20 this breaks my heart, for real
8:01 YES we will talk about it shut up
I know this is about jinni but I would just like to say, I believe Lily stand at the pinnacle of 4th gen vocals. And NMIXX is probably the best group vocally of the 4th generation. NMIXX and AESPA
When is that video of loona’s current situation coming 😭
Not in a bad way though, but there was something in my head saying that she has the charisma of a soloist (or a face of an actress??) Definitely not saying she'll continue on as a soloist/actress now that she has left the group, but yeah... this news was not that surprising for me.
blows my mind who people decide to hate on & decide to be fans of when it’s all the same.

Fun fact: my birthday date is NMIXX’s anniversary
I miss jinni so much, to be honest NMIXX is like stray kids it’s not the concept it’s beacuse Will you first hear NMIXX and stray kids for the first time the music it’s kind of funky beacuse your ears it’s not used to the music style or never Heard it. But when you continue replaying it it’s actually really good if you give it a chance I think that’s why people think O.O is the worst debut music video ever.
Me too I love all the members in Nmixx
All members are my bias and is the first group I stan in 4th generation!
Didn`t the same thing also happened to Stray kids and till this dayno one knows why that member left
there were allegations of s3xual harassment against Woojin, he was proven not guilty tho

Maybe JYP discovered she was in something romantic with another idol under their company... 🤔
