You have just created the standard for learning how to mix vocals on UA-cam. You may not have even realized but this video is gonna blow up and people for years will be citing this one. Mark my words

Dude. Your vocal chaining is insane. Sounds incredible. After using FL studio for a year, the transition into Abelton is extremely exciting for me and this video is incredibly helpful. Good shit son 🔥🔥🔥

this puppet is about to change the way i look at audio forever. I create voiceover demos for people and I've been using doubling to cut through a lot of the backing tracks. The simple HP/LP trick you use on the EQ for doubling is definitely going into this next demo. I just tried it out on a previous demo and it sounds fantastic. It's true what they say. You never know how much you don't know. You've have clean producing down to a science.

Does anybody think about how much work it’s gotta be to make a puppet look like he’s talking AND producing at this level!? I almost want to see a behind the scenes video but it might kill the magic. Such good content, man - I’ve been at this a long time and still learning so much from these.

This work and your videos in general are amazing! A quick question I have is with regards to the parellel compression you perform at first in the chain. If you always allow the dry vocal to be present and simply mix in a varying degree of (and volume) of compressed vocals, then how do you achieve overall vocal uniformity in terms of leveling? Wouldn't the dry signal have the original, untreated peaks that would either stick out or you'd have to seriously reduce its volume to avoid trigerring the final compressor/limiter? How would this chain achive maximum vocal loudness?
