The Tobii settings are defaulting to Camera Boost now, which is why it doesn't use gaze to move the camera. Input Mix is the old behavior.
Camera boost will detect when you are looking at the edges of the screen while turning your head, and boost the camera movement so that the movement is faster when you want to look to the sides or backwards, and much less sensitive while you look ahead.

There are oxy pens for filling up your O2. But I wonder if they are going to get ship life support systems running in ships soon. Because, a ships crew size is related to how much life it can support. Also the engineering stuff will make it so having suit on a ship will be a limited time thing is the engineer shuts the life support off in a room. Exciting times!

2:24 "water" - storage boxes in the water behave extremely jumpy. Also when I shot grenadelauncher in to water effect was more like a glitch - water texture pillars rose up to the sky ))

Fantastic vid. As I understand the new star map still uses the old tech underneath so it’s still temperamental. Where were the asteroids you were EVAing around as they looked great!
I took that defender out in 3.23 in stock loadout. It overheated and crashed before I could make it to a bunker on the side of Hurston. No idea what CIG are smoking with that set up.

I completely disagree with deactivating the shields when activating the quantum engine.

I hope the gun pickup thing is a bug, as I like to keep my own guns on my back to conserve ammo, while using the dropped weapons as much as possible.

Oxypens might be the thing we need to use to refill oxygen in our suits.
Simply reminding me of the camera going crazy while hitting walls during eva made me choke on my drink and got my sub lol

Oxygen Pen 🖊️ Its the blue one and has been in the game a while, as has oxygen use. Normally only relevant if your ship bucked you off into deep space while in QT 😮

If you want to pick up another weapon if you already have 2b(primaries), you’ll need to have one of them in your hand & then select Swap when you click on the one on the ground. It’ll will then stow the one in your hand & pick up the one on the ground. It’s unintuitive & needs to be addressed.

I carry a blue pen now when running on moons. It does run out much quicker.

EVA is better, but it still doesn't "look right." First, there is a bit too much like... swim-iness to how it animates you. In zero g there would be no medium to cause those motions. Not a complaint, per se, it looks and feels way better than what we had.
Great vid but man the amount of Ads in a 12 min vid is excessive
I believe the higher the tolerance for ads a user has, the more they'll play. We (especially game content creators) only see a few pennies from em, so nobody wins except UA-cam.
i think it's kinda funny that Dune 2021 came out and then CIG releases the Scorpius, a fighter ship with articulating wings reminiscent of the ornithopters. Now Dune 2024 comes out and a few months later we get EVA restructured to mimic the anti-gravity traversal shown in the movie.

DLSS currently can make FPS worse, due to how CPU intensive SC is. A general rule of thumb, "The higher you go up in resolution, the more strain gets put on the GPU and less on the CPU" (Which is why if you see people playing at 4k they are much more likely to be GPU bound than CPU bound). DLSS lowers the resolution and then upscales it back to your native res. Which actually just puts more strain on the CPU. Once they get Vulkan sorted and actually enable multicore rendering. DLSS should actually make a noticeable difference. Soooo Soon™

Honestly - new UI is crap, new mobiglass is meh, interaction menu is crap, new quick inventory is crap. New EVA...EVA looks nice on videos but in terms a practical usage it is also crap. I'd fired people who did this.
