Hope you all enjoyed the video!! Let me know what you think about the build and what you would change. Enjoy 😃
Neither the battlements are useful, as they are pretty much decorative, nor are there machicolations, rendering the defense pretty hard.
I love your builds, as a solo survival player with mostly no map runs this is a real blessing.
All those insane massive builds on youtube while stunning to look at, are not realistic nor efficient as a solo player.
Thank you so much!! Glad to help and I plan to do more builds like this that are very efficient. :)
finally a base design with efficient and not just visual
Thank you!
I love when buildings combine small size, efficiency and style. Great job!
Thank you!!
I love the view during the intro and the outro with the troll in the background. I like these kinds of builds. The over the top, amazing builds are nice to look at, but I prefer to build things that seem more "realistic" like this. Nice job!
Glad you like it!
Thanks for giving dimensions! One problem I've found with people showing their builds is they don't show the blueprint- meaning you have to count things on your own.
Yeah that’s one thing I forget a lot to do though also
It is the most annoying thing
Hey, man, been watching your vids for a few days now and keep forgetting to comment! Thanks for what you do! I'm an inept builder, but I've gotten some pretty cool structures out of watching and building along with your time lapses.
Thanks buddy!!
Really enjoy your builds. It’s functional, efficient and great looking all in one. Maybe do a video or series on rebuilding or utilizing the abandon castle/tower in mountains or Mistland. Just an idea.
Thank you!! I will take that into consideration for future projects
Awesome gate, walls and tower. Just a bit too tight for my taste. I would lower the garden walls and make it freeform instead. Also, no throne room? 9/10 really well done!
Thanks for the tips!
I love the building! Small and beautiful! I just have a few questions: at 5:22 you kinda put a second layer of wood beams 45 on the roof part, but where are you snapping that? When I tried that it kinda overlapped the previous one. I had to free place that
So I free placed the top two to add more detail and then snapped to those
I always enjoy your builds. 😊 Thanks, Basic! 🙌
Thank you very much!!
Гарний урок! дякую за роботу! ставлю вподобайку!
Not sure what you are saying here. Can you translate to English?
@@TheBasicBuilder I say that I really liked the way you build
@@TheBasicBuilder the habit of writing in Ukrainian😹
@@Maksymochcka oh well thank you!
I like the build, however a piece of criticism I would like to offer is that the main tower is high susceptible to water damage. Perhaps I made a mistake but whenever it rains most of the wood in there rots.
It’s possible for that to happen. I am working on better designs for that reason and plan to rebuild this
@@TheBasicBuilder If it helps at all, I changed the staircase inside the main tower to a spiral stone stair case and I also changed the stair case that leads to the tower to stone as well. I’ve not had any water damage since that so hopefully that helps!
This is lovely and cozy.
Thanks Lisa!!
Very nice and simple. You gave me a lot of ideas!
So glad to help you out. Thanks for watching!!
Love it! Great build man!
Thank you very much!!
Great job 👏!! Love it 😍
Thank you!
firstly the music to this is very kool.. finding my Ommmm.... lol.. oh i lurve this one too.. i want that.. hehe
Lol I’ve gotta put a portfolio together of all my builds this year!!
Since Mistlands has been out for a little while now, build a home that can withstand the new raids after you beat the Queen. Black marble is stronger than stone, but I would like to see a build with all the building pieces available. 💪
sounds like a good challenge. I will add it to the list of buillds I need to do. trying to wrap up 2022 builds so I will put it on the 2023 schedule!!
Cool looking fort! I love it!
Thanks Bane!!
Cool but I do suggest you make a list what roughty it costs.
Yea all my future builds will have that for sure or at least an estimate. Thanks for the feedback!
hello there !very nice build but I'm stuck in the tower part. the last floor of stone can't but placed down and is dark red. the foundations are all blue, and I tried putting some wood iron beams but it doesn't cut it. do you have any idea ?
Hmm not sure why. How high did you build the tower?
It’s all good, I had to break the piggy bank and start the beams from the foundations to the top. Thanks a lot for the answer !
@@thebox4673 like I said in my reply, I had to build the wood iron beams from the ground in order for them to provide stability to the building!
I don't have the ability to fly on my clan mates server but this is a great build. Going to see how it goes. Going to have to tweak it some. 🤙🏾
Good luck!! Sorry for the late reply
Is there any disadvantages to building surrounded by water?
Honestly, building in the Mistlands I would not recommend at all. The mobs are way to strong
Why are the stone blocks on my tower disappearing 😢
Hmm. First time hearing that. I’m not sure. Are they breaking?
nice job, bro.
Thank you buddy!!
I love the build but I’m too stupid to follow the tutorial do you think you could repost this and do an in depth tutorial?
I have a plan to go back and redo this build as it’s my most popular build right now. Give me some time but it’s in the works
@@TheBasicBuilder alr
Some people might want to download the build
I will look into it 😉. Thanks for hanging out in stream today, good to see you there
@@TheBasicBuilder will always pop in for a bit as long as i see you streaming and i have time
I can’t build like that I don’t play with mods this fortress would realistically take me 20-30 days in game to build
Have you just tried using the devcommands that the devs put into the game. Debugmode is how I built this with is not a mode
Contrary to several enthusiastic comments, I believe that the title of the video is clickbait. This video doesn't have anything to indicate Mistlands - neither workbenches nor building elements. There isn't even Valheim Heart&Home functionality here. The effectiveness of the building is also questionable, because for example: 1) there are no chests near the workbenches, you have to run to the warehouse for every little thing, 2) the building looks too big for the existing function, moving takes more time than necessary and the Rested buff is lost when moving. Where is at least one portal?
Visually it looks satisfactory, but not functional.
Thanks for the feedback. Everyone has their own opinion
Thats a nice troll
haha Glad you noticed Mike. Thats my little friend!! :)
The portion where you explain the lengths is extremely poorly conceived. Why couldn’t you just put the length down instead of doing some to it silly like using the number of blocks hsed
I’m always learning new ways to present my builds. I can’t make everyone happy though
final product isnt what the blueprint is
What’s different?
