I had a bobcat 3 in 2021, and honestly I shouldn't have sold it, it was great, and had a suprisingly compliant ride on the trail. I just needed better tires, and convert it to a 1x system, and a judy fork. I would surely choose the 3 and upgrade the tires to Vee Tire Crown Jems, and a better fork.

There’s not enough Marin dealers especially in New Hampshire ,bought online and charged me $286 for shipping for the black and purple 1 ,only had 2 shipping options the other was $326
Congrats on the new bike. Yeah shipping is pricey these days, depending what carrier, rate they have setup. When we ship, it is usually $200-250 for UPS ground shipping depending. Not cheap unfortunately
I bought the 5 of the last gen. I love that bike I've upgraded loads of parts and it has taught me loads about servicing and maintaining a bike. Marin customer service is outstanding as well. I'm looking to upgrade my Bobcat to an El Roy.

El Roy is an interesting bike. Just make sure it meets your needs and isn't too aggressive (Head angle is super aggressive and only comes in 2 sizes). Appreciate the compliment and comment. Take care
I already have the 2022 bobcat 4. Is it worth this upgrade just for the geo?
Good question, nope not worth it. Unless you settled on the color and it is driving you crazy, keep it and enjoy riding it. I doubt you would notice the changes if you rode them back to back. Have fun!
