I know you are now building your engine and will be going on track, so if you have the center grill you'll be needing it and the center radiator kit. I got mine from Suncoast Porsche Parts for the 987.2 Cayman S I have. Those grills go in real nice and keep the shiznt out of the heat exchangers.
I know this is an older video, but a great reference. I was thinking that it would be much easier to use auto body molding tape around the circumference of the grills? Plus, you wouldn't be putting any holes in bodywork.
Are you worried about restricting the airflow to the radiator by doing this? I want to do it but not if it will cause issues later, Any informatioin will help thanks!
Yellow. No! Sounded like you either have a single speed drill or you didn't have your 2-speed drill on low. Screws should be driven with low speed. You could have stripped the holes. The final result looks great!
I've never been into mesh. However, having seen this, I think I need these on my car. Got the bumper off at the moment anyway, so why not.
+TheFreedomGuy after finding a whole bird in my radiator (radiator cleaning video dropping soon), I was really glad I got these!
@@HelpMeDIY True. The amount of crud accumulating between the rads is staggering. A bit of a design flaw.
I’m about to spring for these, we have the same car! Thanks so much, I like your vids!
+Key on the Left right on! 🍻
Love your handle 😁
Not typically a fan of mesh but this suits the car and looks great.
+Jim McCarthy thanks! 🍻

+RD Adams it’s not my first time screwing, I got this 😆
No on the yellow grill screens. Subtle is better. Just the silver parts yellow and maybe the fog light ones in black.
+Neil Chirico 👍
i bought RGS grills, no bumper removal necessary .
I went with Zunsport grilles. Same - No bumper removal.
+Dave P. Are those the ones you have to attach with zip ties? I wasn’t a fan of that unfinished look.
@@HelpMeDIY yes, I used tiny black zip ties, their not very noticeable. I'll take a pic when I get a chance
@@onanthebarbarian9883 I used zumsport grills for my side vents, they are very nice.
I took a pic of the front grill, Is there an option to add a pic in a reply?
wouldn't it be simpler to just zip tie the thing?
+Chitown 388 if you don’t mind seeing ugly zip ties on the exterior of your Porsche, I guess it would be
No Yellow!
+Adam Miller fine! 😆
