I just learned that you can unscrew the fog lights (2 screws ea), remove them, unplug the electrical, and pull them out. That should provide ample room to pop out the grills and whatever you may.

Nice job looks great.I had my local garage do this job for me on my Boxster while he replaced the rad fan had my ones done in silver as my car is silver, surprised the amount of crap collected in the corners by the rads so the the new grills should minimise this.

Have some mesh grills ordered for my 08 base. I am planning on removing the bumper to do a proper clean. You gave me some more confidence to do this myself. Thanks

Cars looking good , this really is one of those jobs everyone needs to do as the air con radiators do get holes from small stones ...

There was discount online tickets which are sold out , so it’s pay on the gate , I have no idea who much it is this year but 2 years ago I just turned up and got in , I read gates open 8.30am and close 2pm , I will probably get there at 11pm

An absurd vid that conceals all the technique by fast-forwarding through the whole process. Only the talking heads give any clues to what you're doing. I'd like to do this job on my Boxter but I learned nothing from watching this.

There are plenty of 'how to' videos on UA-cam you can use for reference. I wanted to make an entertaining video, not an hour long tutorial.

Agreed. Granted, if he didn't want to make an hour-long tutorial, so be it. But this was just like so many other videos on YT that just mask over the important parts, have poor lighting, and over-lay music that adds absolutely nothing to the experience. I clicked on this link hoping to learn something, but just like you, didn't learn a thing.
