    15$ harbor freight grinders are the best ones to get. I have 300$ ones 100$ ones and the 15$ ones are my go to. You’re the real deal mr. Black. Living the dream.

    Exactly what I'm doing except we already had the hydro brake I still like the back fender to help with splatter on everything from road debris also mounting them to the frame put the axle, rim, and tire with the spacers together with it , tac , then remove axle and tac another piece front one side to the other while you weld em so they stay together, when finished remove the extra piece

      I just learned that when doing my swing arm on a custom bike! Stick welding 7018 too.....good thing I remembered or I would have been all out of alignment.

    That's pretty cool! one thing you could of done is cut a length of tubing/conduit to slide over axle and then you could have tightened axle nut to hold it all square while welding. You seem very busy with these videos! I'm too big for the little minibikes : [

    when I read the title I assumed you were going to stretch the frame through the motor area in order to make installing the bigger motor easier..you fooled me, and just stretched the wheelbase
    check the threads in that GPS adapter before you bolt your sprocket onto it...mine had a poorly threaded hole in it, and the thread pulled the first time I put one of the MM factory bolts into it...ended up going 1/4-20 on those bolts to fix it

      @@Black66 Harbor Freight has a roller that would be great for long sweeping curves. Pretty easy to build one if needed. I've built a couple over the years. Tighter bends definitely need a bender.
      Be a good learning experience if nothing else.

    Very nice! Almost all of these frames could benefit from a little stretch. We streched and lifted our CT200U-EX and couldn't be happier. It really shines offroad when climbing hills! Is there any way you can turn the grinding sound down a bit in your editing software?

    You should have sliced a groove in the frame to slide the mounts in and weld both sides.

      Thanks! It's a Lincoln Pro Mig 140 with 75/25 gas. it's perfect for welding up minibikes.

    What’s best grinding wheel to cut that bracket ? Any specific or suggestions for quick smooth grinding?

      I use Warrior 4 1/2 inch 40 grit Metal cut off wheels on my grinder. Cuts this stuff like butter. I'm sure other brand wheels that are simular will do the same job.

      @@mklein5179 if I lived in his neighborhood I'd be bringing him one of my 79s for sure! I do more off road stuff but if I look to Black66 for another reason....quality. He seems to have a knack for building high quality bikes without cutting corners. I respect him for that. I like things to be complete, running and as safe as possible that aren't going to be a headache later on.

      Yes, a Tillotson 212 would be a great first engine. You can always keep the governor in place until you want more power out of it.

    A bro any ideas my bike don’t turn out only on choke then I have to gas it right away to keep it on when I switch the choke off , any idea what the issue is it’ll run on choke if I let it idrk why

      It could be that things are dirty inside the carb. I would clean out the pilot jet and main jet . If you have to choke it to run it must not be getting enough fuel.j

    Hey everytime I try to open up my throttle with the mikuni carb it cuts out

      I always start out by changing the main jet because they come with a small main jet. Smaller than needed for a 212. I would raise the needle and see what happens. Have you watched this video? ua-cam.com/video/MnQvIlFX8hM/v-deo.html

      @@UnAttempted Maybe a little bigger tip on the driver? You can always grab the heads with a small pair of vise grips and loosen them up .

      I don't think it will be as wheelie happy. And might be a little more stable with the longer wheelbase.

    What kind of chain do you use and how much chain length after the stretch so is it under 5 feet after a stretch

      I mainly use RLV gold on gold 35 chain. Not sure of the exact length but I had to use two Boxes and cut a little off.

      If your looking for a tough black paint I highly suggest the Rustoleum high heat grill paint. They have a satin and semi gloss. Dries hard and quick, resistant to heat and spills.

      @@slim2peezy281 It looks close without it but if you want the perfect color match with the clear coat I'd go Rustoleum 2x Gloss Black. It also goes on nice and hardens pretty quickly. With the 2x paints you don't have to prime!

      The 2x paints also spray in multi direction plus because they are self priming they run a lot less than other paints giving you a better final result.
