I love Thai football, it is hot and sweaty, the standard of play is not amazing, but the price of the tickets, the energy and kindness of the fans, the whole experience is brilliant. You should come along to see Bangkok Glass next season. They are my team, based in Prathum Thani
Excellent video buddy. Wish I was there. My son was on the Premiere team in Khon Kean. He is a joy to watch! Amazing seeing him do a totally inverted goal kick seven feet in the air. Love that room all done up in team colors.I would have guessed you were using a new Sony Venus 2, footage is always beautiful mate.
I have to say your information is wrong buriram just establish around 2010-2012 something , not in the 80's .. They actually take over the old PEA club and change the name to their city .. and at that time before they are sport city This province almost have nothing except the old khmer stone temple
It's been already two years since ur Thailand bike tour....omg ....👍 I got excited to see sports video of Thailand.... awesome. No other youtuber is doing sports related video...I Love football game. Like the usb outlet charger...u can charge so many batteries...
Very interesting! We have not attended a Thai Football match. Buriram seems like the place to go. Fantastic that it is affordable. we are currently in Arizona (we came to Arizona to cool down from the Thai heat). NBA championship games were being played here ... tickets far too expensive hundreds of USD and not as fun of an atmosphere. Buriram United match looks like a blast! Thanks for sharing! The heat has been over the top this year.
Welcome to my home Paddy Mueang Buriram! 13:20 that’s Newin Chidchob who owns the football club and MOTO GP circuit. The man who made it all happen. Looks like you enjoyed it UTB
Buriram Utd arent just the top club in Thailand, they're #1 in South-east Asia. In Thai sporting events it's the King's anthem, not national anthem. that's played. As a hard-core, our main fan club is called GU12. Glad you enjoyed your day out. @GU12❤
Currently live in Hua Hin and have watched them home and away for the last couple of years, they only get 3/400 at home games but the atmosphere is good. In the UK I support Blackpool and recently they sold a player (Kenny Dougall) to Buriram, last week they were playing a couple of hours away so set off to watch them. Sadly the car broke down so had to turn back and give it a miss. Just have to wait until next season now. Enjoyed the video
Few years ago watched Phuket FC and one of the mainland teams play in Phuket which was amazing great match and great atmosphere. Also went to the FC Barcelona and Thai national team play in Bangkok years back. That was quite an adventure getting to the stadium in peak hour traffic and what an experience its was at the stadium. Always amazing watching a game in Thailand.
I am retiring to Buriram in one year. Our house its just around the corner from the stadium so I hope to be in the crowd for most home games. I have seen one game there before when Thailand beat Japan it really was a fantastic atmosphere. Come on Buriram!
I've just come back from Korea. Went to watch a couple of games of Baseball. Crowd was very family orientated at least 50% female. The cost was half the price of watching Torquay Utd in the NLS, and the MRT stations come up right outside the stadiums. Buy tickets on the gate and the entertainment value was simply the best of any sporting event I have ever been to. (also the best F&B). That includes football at Wembley, F1 in Singapore, Baseball in LA, AFL in Australia, even Moto GP at the track next to Buriram Stadium. etc etc. It was such an epic atmosphere it almost moved me to tears. The result didn't matter everyone was just having fun.
your last two football videos were great Paddy. I think its fantastic when they do the song before the game, Buriram fans are the best in Thailand. YOu should go to watch Ratchaburi. They have loud fans also, and before the game the atmosphere is great. Then 10 minutes before kick off, the lady owner grabs the microphone and talks to the crowd about sponsorship, the club, etc, and bores the pants off everyone. A minute later the teams come out, and the stadium gets going again............but she is a bloody nightmare.
I’ve been to Thailand ten times now and getting to a Thai football match is definitely on my bucket list. My Thai girlfriend thinks I’m ting tong for wanting to do so 😂
There still anothe r stadium you should go watching football games(tier-1). That's PORT STADIUM in the center of Bangkok. A marvelous crowds and buzzing you could feel all the period of the play. The vibes is more Rising than at BRR. High spirits and commitment in their squad, you should feel it. Go once at PORT STADIUM, BKK. You'll never forget, Paddy, n I hope you there soon. From Thai fan❤😂
Paddy, one of the best experiences you can have travelling is immersing yourself in the local way of life. This includes watching a local football game. I fondly remember watching the Calcio Storico in Florence some 28 years ago. It was mad! I had a great time. Luckily for me I was in the winning team supporters stand. You could do a bucket list just on experiencing each countries biggest sporting event and I'd watch that. This is type of experience is what makes travelling so much fun. Thanks Paddy. Glad you shared this with us. Cheers, Stef
Do you know Buriram United? Why do we have football teams and beautiful football stadiums? Because of the overthrow of the Thaksin Shinawatra government I hate the club owner Nevin Chidchok.
I went to a match in november where Chiang Mai FC were playing. They play in the second tier (Thai League 2) but I wanna say the atmosphere was amazing despite the smaller crowd.
This reminds me so much of the Baseball in Japan. It's not just a match, it's an experience. Every player had their own individual chant that the ultras all knew, watching them do their thing just added to the experience. All that was missing were the girls with beer-kegs strapped to their back running thru the stands selling cold beers. I know it sounds weird, but one of the great things you can do when you visit another country is check out their sport. Great video mate!
Yeas mate, watchin Buriram United is a fun experience for sure. Been there in 2019 watchin a asia cup match and it was so much fun. We did buy a shirt and i agree, i should have bought one size up 🤣🤫 Anyhow, thanks for your view on such a experience and sharing it with us🙏 And as always, C Ya in the next one, cheers 👊🍻
I love the atmosphere of a stadium full of people- even if i am not really interested in watching the game. People watching is fun too! 😊 I have sat in unbearable heat trying to stick it out only because i paid a ridiculous amount for a ticket... so it was nice that these tickets were super cheap so you dont feel guilty for wasting money by not staying the whole time. Fun video!
You can come back to watch at Chang Arena Stadium again when Buriram UTD plays on Asian Champions League 2024/2025 as ACL Elite Group League Stage that BRUTD will meet against with many big teams from East Asia e.g. Japan / Korea / China / Australia / Malaysia
For some reason, a referee and var love to take side with Buriram FC. The team should have been defeated by Thai port FC last week, VAR seized a goal from Thai port FC.
Me the wife an a couple of pals went a few months ago an we all left after 70 mins. Never seen a more corrupt game of footie in me life. Ref well n truly paid off. They were playing Trat, we felt sorry for Trat, they were cheated bigtime Charlie tomato.
I was in the stadium in Buriram recently. It was so hot that I left the stadium after the first half. You feel like you're in a sauna. Not a single second of wind. And unfortunately you're not allowed to take water to your seat.
Did you go to that weird park in the same complex behind the stadium depicting loads of sexual positions it’s very out of place 😂 thought it was a great complex with cafes and shops there even when the match isn’t on 👍
Looks like a great time. Sorry the weather was so hot! You made the right decision leaving when you did. No need to risk getting heat stroke. I hope you watched the 2nd half and also some EPL from your hotel sports bar. 👍⚽️
You’d not get on the half way line as that’s reserved for the ‘hardcore’ fans, the singers and dancers. Thanks for highlighting our marvellous stadium, and town. Without doubt, the best team, stadium and fans in Thailand.
Paddy! I'm loving your Thailand bucket list. I can only imagine how hot it got under that banner! My hubby / resident gadget nerd wanted me to tell you to get a neck fan lol 🥵
We got told the owners are gangsters and he is married to the health secretary sister or something along those lines, the lady at the front with the loud speaker thing is her, she’s the head of the fans

Hi Paddy, great stuff. Been there and toured the stadium but haven't yet watched a game there. How much is a seat in the VIP section? 🇹🇭
Most expensive seats are 1000 baht. Not worth it tho. Those west-stand seats for 200 are the best by a mile.
You should come to Singapore vs S Korea for the WC qualifiers at Singapore’s national stadium. It’s extremely beautiful and its definitely worth it
Hope you do more football vlogs in the future Paddy ! Loving the content
How fun!!! Omg.. so hot... thanks fir filming.. I can be cool 😎 watching your vlog :)
Who were they playing? Was it a league or cup match? Some more information would have been useful. Better than the average Thai vlog mind you .
Great Vlog Paddy, an what a brilliant atmosphere!!
You should have stayed for the second half though...You must be getting soft mate hahaha
Great video, thx! But who was the other team???
Itu salah satu klub tebaik di asian bahkan asia, aku mengakuinya mereka hebat❤ dari🇮🇩
ขอบคุณเพื่อนอินโด❤❤❤

It would be really interesting to see you go play ta kraw with some locals
Every home team has there own chants , vibe, u see that in all sports

Because they are on the receiving end of so many generous dubious refs last minute decisions .

I like the BG Pathum team more than the Buriram team.
I’ve been with this package 7 years ago when the Thai football financial situation was good enough to sign Robbie fowler
Paddy. It's Sawadee Klrap. Not Sawadee Kaa. Unless you are female. 🤔
BG good teams i think ❤
On that day it's very hot please come back again on 26th hope the weather will better , or you have to take a mini fan 😅😅 welcome to Buriram

$5 tickets …. Wow Thailand is truly amazing !!! Can’t even get a soda in the states for that nowadays
Looks like a great time. Sorry the weather was so hot! You made the right decision leaving when you did. No need to risk getting heat stroke. I hope you watched the 2nd half and also some EPL from your hotel sports bar. 👍⚽️
Why did they spray water on the pitch right before the game? Is there any public transportation to the stadium?
ลุงเน ยังไม่ติดพัดลมยักษ์ให้ผู้ชมฟุตบอลอีกหรือท่าน อย่าช้าครับเดียวลมร้อนจะหายไปหมดแล้ว
It's not that cheap mate. 200 baht is a daily Thai salary.
Welcome to Thailand Welcome to Buriram United I am a Newcastle United fan in Thailand.
Recommend a JisuLife brand (Ultra or Pro 1S, a handheld fan for the event like that or at the crowded sports event. You’ll be glad you did.
Persib bandung bro👉
Welcome to Thailand 🇹🇭
I think if this was in England, the away fans staying at the hotel before a game may be tempted to undertake some naughty things.

I hope you come to watch football in Nong Bua Lamphu as you dream.
If they kicked balls into the crowd in the uk I know just what would happen, Thailand has such a nice culture.
The stadium should have misting fans to keep the spectators cool.
hey paddy this one should be in one of your online workshop on how to vlog in public :) great work
