It's gonna be great for old players but hell for new players. Talking from experience from other games. Load outs makes new players learn the bad habit of constantly switching the same set of artifacts on everyone. So they won't have multiple sets of artifacts when it matters. Ik this cuz this happened to me. Load outs are a bad bad idea.

There's something so interesting and funny about most of his 'fun' concept being just TF lMAO like I get people not liking Ganyu, but usually those will love Wanderer or even Heizou bc he's fast, or at least Yoi, but he doesn't like ANY of them, nor Ayaka bc of her charged attacks, but then adores anything usable with TF lol
Just a nice fact to see how people's sense of fun can be so different
I think weapons can be interesting when they encourage you to use characters you wouldn't otherwise use. Like a Redhorn Stonethresher makes (non-pyro) Xinyan and Noelle a lot more fun to play. So for a single five star weapon, I get two characters out of it, essentially. Of course, weapon banner still sucks, and the Stonethresher is a bit on an exception, in large part due to it addressing one of the things that really should be in Xinyan's kit.
Redhorn + 4pc bloodstained on Xinyan is my favorite meme build. Using pause screen to make charge attack spin until you are out of stamina PLUS bloodstained removing stamina cost for 10 seconds is just so goofy I love it
I means.. if bigger number is your kind of fun, then more power to you. Im not going to judge people for doing what they want to do with their resources.
But like.. I don’t think any mediocre or bad character would ever need a 5 stars weapon to be functional and fun.
I love your restraint from spending money to pull for weapons and characters. In my case, I ended up pulling for characters that I rarely use. My Cyno is collecting dust because Alhaitham is way better in hyperbloom/aggravate team. My Itto is in the home for elders because I still have shitty husk set despite of a complete geo team.

If anyone needed loadouts yesterday, Zajef would be that guy, wtfffffffff.
I build all my characters and they each have their own personal artifacts and weapon. They are obviously watered down quality compared to his, but more than enough to clear 36 star.
Constantly recreating the "correct" build from scratch off memory each time switching teams would drive me insane.
#askzajef Would you ever consider giving a tutorial on how to use Excel regarding its applications to Genshin theorycrafting? Like, all the shortcuts and keybinds etc. you use to quickly calculate the DPS differences and whatnot.

I like nilou’s design because her restrictions balance her power level, and also incentivizes core production maximization which is super satisfying. But I do agree that without kokomi or nahida she is not as good and that makes her restrictive, but as we get more hydro and dendro units this problem should be less important
@@Bullminator too much investment? She works with a lvl1 dull blade, talent 1/1/1 and triple hp which is super easy to get. Useless? I don’t think you’re being serious, nilou bloom has insane aoe damage

I got her with Nahida, but without Kokomi it was DEPRESSION for a long time but NOW we/I got Dendro healer maybe I need to try her more again.

i really liked watching your opinion on pulling for weapons. i’m an ayaka main and my friend has mentioned that i should go for mistsplitter when it comes back, and i was seriously considering it (not that i’ll have to worry about it any time soon lol). but i truly care way more about getting new characters. a shiny new weapon might make the numbers bigger, but getting a new character feels more exciting. i’ve been going back and forth on it for a while, and probably will continue to do so until another ayaka rerun happens, but it feels nice to hear that focusing first and foremost on getting more characters is a totally valid way to play.
Ayato used to be one of the ones I'd give up before others, but then I remembered why I pulled him to begin with. His rhythm is just so fun and adaptive, his AoE so big, teams so various, and the man can use TF. One thing I feel kinda stupid about, though, I thought his Q would make for the sickest and comfiest AoE freeze team, and while I do like him a lot in freeze, I have several stronger options focusing on cryo dps and their OP set. Turns out freezing before they're tightly grouped is often a detriment... There's been a few cases it let me freeze a lawa before they shielded etc., though. He basically solves zero issues on my account, but I enjoy him and he gets most stuff done comfortably and consistently, I used to really underrate his national too.
I use him in my freeze team only tbh. Venti w allegy, rosaria fav and 4pc nobless, mona on prot amber r5 and 4pc ToM. Ayato Q> venti Q E> rosaria E Q> Mona Q E > Ayato E spam repeat. Solves all the problem you just mentioned. And nice thing is. Mona's Q doesn't pop for the entire rotation. You don't really need prototype amber either on Mona, thrilling tales also works fine. but it's nice against wolflords.
i seem to use ayato internat more than childe internat exactly coz of this reason! i enjoy riptide but bobaman slash slash more fun :D

As someone that has constant 180 ping, which makes dodging kinda wack, having Zhongli makes shit way comfier, but I can't comment on low ping experience

If it works, it's also triggers another a4 fisch so it makes more of a difference
maybe it does but usually before E2>E1 there’s like half a second before the e cooldown ends so I usually do a charge atk between the e casts which procs an aggravate

i took ur advice and i have three r1 fav swords and didnt refined it, now its so easy to cast burst a lot in many teams that uses 3 swords users.
i have only r1 fav sword even after ar60 until last week i got two copies from standard banner and didnt refined it, as an f2p ar60 player it felt good getting copies of fav swords after 2 dayum years lmao.

Zhongli is my favorite character. I guess I'm not exactly the target audience for him either because I do bother learning enemy attack patterns and theorycrafting. But idk, I just love his character I guess haha. Him and Nahida are pretty much the only 5* I'm willing to pull constellations for. Not necessarily because they're useful, but because I just like him that much and it gives me joy seeing him with constellations. I've dabbled with physical Zhongli in the past but nowadays my favorite team comp for him is microwave Zhongli. Don't ask me why, I just think it's fun haha

@@user-wf5jm2nc1h iirc it utilizes zhongli's pillar resonance damage with other geo constructs such as albedo's flower, itto's ushi, geomc's boulders, etc. usually you would build him with 2p petra/2p gladiators & preferably at c1 + homa. that's what i'm running on him since getting his c1 :)

average artifacts? half that stuff was bonkers good. and he clearly abuses dendro which is absolutely ez mode.
I feel like realistically I play abyss for 20-30 minutes every 2 weeks and collecting all exploration actually takes way more time. So for me Wanderer and Yelan are easy most meta pulls u can zoom through like crazy

Only weapon banner I ever pulled on was a pretty good one a while back, the only reason I did it was because I didn’t have a fav sword and I was incredibly desperate for one and it was rate up. I did manage to get lucky and I got one fav sword in about 50 pulls. It was worth it but I don’t recommend it, it definitely could have gone very bad very easily. The only other weapon banner I’m gonna pull on probably ever is the 3.4 phase two. Both aqua similacra and homa would be great for me and the four stars are good especially cuz there’s fav sword again and I still only have that one fav sword from before.
7 months of playing Genshin and i still don't have a Fav Sword.
Meanwhile me throwing away my duplicate fav swords cause I have it R5 lvl 90 already (I kinda regret not having 2 sometimes, but there is no way I am gonna level another copy of a weapon that I already have lvl 90)

Not all at R5, I'm not that lucky, but I caught myself limiting my teams by what characters don't require me to do a build-swap and I like my variety more than I like sitting on a mountain of refinement ore.

I recognize Zajef's knowledge and expertise when it comes to Genshin TC and I visit his account frequently to hear his opinion, however his idea of fun is really different from mine and therefore his account seems quite boring and dull for how I play and invest in carchaters.For example,
Ganyu's charged attacks are a blast, and I mean literally, just seeing the damage it makes when melting is just fun on its own.
Hu Tao's single target damage is great, still the best, when paired with XQ and now even Yelan. Or swirl with Kazuha/Tankfey.
Zongli is not just when you don't know how to play. Zongli is pretty much required if you are using Ganyu for example, because how are you supposed to dodge while charg shooting?
Cyno is definitely boring to me too, being a hyper carry-on-filed DPS with such a long burst. Being a TC I wonder how haven't he anticipated the playstyle?
He did, but he was lured because he is first and foremost a thundering fury disciple.

I also got Elegy on accident cuz Homa banner at that time but it was a "happy accident" as Bob Ross would say. For sure an useful weapon and my Sara loves it but I can see why isnt a priority.

Venti's autotargetting is sooo cringe though, I literally have to run to the right enemy so he will aim the right direction it makes me Madge
You can auto attack first to determine which direction you'll shoot your burst tho

i got one i started building it for xianling and finished it for zhong li and i do not regret it it is very strong and an interesting way to play.
i still have a lot more spear billets, i can make another R5 spear if i wanted to but i don't think i will i have some pretty good 5/4 star alternatives fro everyone.

Surprisingly not a lot of artifacts, which proves you dont need too much investments in them.... but I'm still farming to give everyone their own set.
