Hello everyone! I am the owner of the account in this video. One small bit of info I'd like to add is that the account is 1 year old as of 2 days ago (so about 11 months old in the video) and i am welkin only, so not f2p but never spent big bucks. As for the updates! 1. I have 36 starred the abyss every time since this account fix, somewhat easily 2. I am using xingqiu on floor 12 now, but also kaveh in a nilou team :) 3. I have upgraded xingqiu since this stream and he's pretty good now 4. Neuvillette found his use in a really fun team: layla nahida neuvillette xiangling which is right now my favourite team to play and I use it in abyss too 5. Most importantly, I have crowned kaveh and gotten him better artifacts 🤭 because he's my bbg and he deserves it Once again, thank you zajef and chat for being very nice, supportive, understanding and helpful during this stream, it is greatly appreciated and the stream was so much fun! I'd love it if you would do this kind of thing again.

I remember this account review. it’s one of the most memorable to me because how funny it was during the whole process (thanks to Zajef and chats) Zajef joked about being done with the review after he cleared the abyss before he could do anything to the account, chat kept spamming “account bricked/ruined” every time artifact roll into def, and of course, the classic “every road leads to Xingqiu” every time Xingqiu was mentioned. It was hilarious as hell. I also remember that the account owner later tweeted to Zajef that they 36 stars’d the abyss on their own in the next abyss cycle after the review. it was very wholesome.
First time seeing an account review where reviewer actually fixes the account instead of just giving their 'thoughts' on it, would love to see more of this not only from Zajef but other creators as well.
Yeah I really hate it when content creators do that, the owner of the account can just simply watch some guides if they want to get info, fixing account is completely different

You're the only genshin content creator I'm familiar with that I'd actually trust to "fix" my account. I feel like other creators get carried away sometimes, so they fail to consider the ways in which they could potentially damage the account if they focus too much on fixing just one or two characters/teams
PLEASE make more of these vids again as filler videos between guides and other informational videos. They're pretty easy to do, can be useful for players with similar account investments, and can also act as an Ask Zajef with updated info for both the current patch and Abyss. Editors are also still killing it btw, great job by them as always!
nooo my favorite parts of the stream didnt make it into the video, it was such an entertaining stream :(( somewhere around 19:39 in the stream, when zaj was farming for them someone in chat said "broke:getting zajef to review your account to get advice on investment and units, woke:getting zajef to review your account to farm emblem and oceanid for you" it left a very deep impression on me. was also hoping for a compilation of zaj yelling "THREE" for the boss drops. otherwise good video but it was def more entertaining during stream.
He said the clear times weren't much better but they were. Part of it was due to not dying, but that Xingqiu is also not fully built, let alone within reasonable optimally. So he could stand to shave probably even another 10+ seconds.
These kinds of videos are super helpful for me, it also helps give a perspective of what other players' accounts look like and how I can improve mine. Love the Xingqui supremacy lol
It's funny, my account would probably be ideal for something like that (33 stars on abyss last 3 cycles, a lot of characters that are considered great, almost any mob/local drops you could need, all the weekly boss drops you will ever need, over 20 million mora with ways to get more, 140+ resins) but I also don't think my problems are based on not knowing what to do or heaving badly build characters. I just lack skill and the time investment to learn rotations, practice them and farm/level artifacts makes it uncomfortable to even think about.
Farming artifacts feels so depressing fr... I'm also stuck at 33 stars for a few months now. But I'd rather farm more obscure sets for some chars than try to improve the already okay-ish existing sets on most chars... And - skill issue
Skill issue is overrated. Learning rotations is a lot easier when you grasp some of the basics and realise you can afford to fuck up a lot depending on the type of team and energy levels etc Learning enemy attacks and dodge timings etc is a bit more difficult I guess but that would come with time
I normally skip account reviews, but this was really enjoyable & insightful for finding issues with my own account - would happily watch more like this :)
the Crab enemy from the last Abyss is one of my favourite enemies. Hits hard, no cringe dodges, cool stun mechanic, great enemy design. Reminds me of a Monster Hunter fight.
I haven’t watched a GI account review in like a year. And watching this has made me think that I cud still use an account review despite how old and “experienced” my account is. But half my problems lie in my lack of free time for GI and how much breaks I’ve taken from the game. But my account kinda needs a checkup by a doctor (I mean it needs an account review from a knowledgeable person), it isn’t in the best health but it’s at least alive and sorta functioning.
I would like to get an account review. Not because I'm struggling with abyss, but because I can only clear it with my Dehya team, despite having lots of meta characters. Somehow my account is blursed in a weird way that I can't find a team for Xingqui despite my best efforts, but Dehya team just steamrolls everything. Wanna know what's my problem and watch Zajef's reaction aswell
have u tried a sucrose national team? (sucrose bennett xiangling xingqiu) its a very good team but if u use dehya in mono pyro (i assume u do), i recommend trying a hyperbloom team with xingqiu!
@@wideozludrawz I don't play sucrose national for couple of reasons. First of all, bennet is used in second team (Dehya (c6) Kaeya Bennet Ganyu). Also if I gonna use a national team it's gonna be with Childe, my will to use him is a bit stronger than to use XQ. And I also hate dendro, and even if I didn't hate it - I don't have Nahida, which pretty much is a requirement as far as I understand. Thanks for the advices tho, so sweet of you, my guy
awww, i have a soft spot for the Xingqui been 36 staring since about 2.0, and i haven't leveled my Xingqui past lvl50. he's been a huge asset all the same.

My account peaked after i got alhaitami as i had elements to get 36 stars in every situation, Then after i stopped caring for artifact quality. My teams International, ayaka freeze, kuki hyperbloom.
Alhaitham is an insanely strong character. I have him C0R1 so the weapon makes a difference, but even compared to other C0R1 chars I feel like he's very effortless to play. Quicken Haitham is very neat and Quickbloom is so overkill I don't usually bother with it, especially since I'd rather use Xingqiu on the second team most of the time anyway. I also noticed that after getting Alhaitham he facilitated my Abyss clears by a lot. I'm considering getting his C1 in the next rerun maybe.

Weird seeeing so many newer charakters in action( only have Xinque from those two teams ), did a long break(from eula first to Wanderer second) and dendro looks like so much fun, cant wait for them to bring back some of the sumeru charakters with dendro.
Isnt it nice to still have a character of each element well invested in though? Like if u dont have yoimiya or hu tao ig xiangling would still be a worth investment even with dendro?
I tried to use melt ayaka in the first half and forgot my Bennett was c6 but I was still able to 36* with a few extra seconds in all floors (I used ayato Koko hyperbloom now that I think about it my team choices was terrible)
Not a fan of blue characters(even tho my Xingqiu has like, two crowns) so Nilou wasnt exactly on my radar but man, as someone who gets 36*s since forever, her new playstyle is kinda cool, if I have the primos, I will try getting her next rerun lol
The only think, maybe I should point out is: He could use Ning, Bennet, XQ, Beidou team or level up the MC. Geo MC, Ning, Goro (doesnt need even levels or anything for his E banner) and Bennet is also good on Ning team.

I can’t 36 the abyss this time because of the sea-unicorn, I tried both dendro and cryo teams but I just can’t kill it fast enough to be left with enough time in the 2nd half
Something i can recommend is trying a Mono Pyro team against the Seahorse. You don't have to do the rest with it of course but i have my best cleartimes with Mono Pyro Klee (of course Klee isn't needed). All the Pyro does Help shredding the shield fast.
@@joe_simon I tried mono pyro and it worked for me, but I think only because i did it with my c6 Yanfei who has a shield, otherwise seahorse is really annoying if you have Bennett because it keeps Overloading you and knocking you back
@@lilacdragon17329Yeah. I never really had the issue because i broke the shield so fast and stun the boss and after that the boss died pretty early. But yeah i forgot about this.
I went for a burn-vape team with a pyro carry and it worked for me. Burn for the shield break then vape for the dps window. I used Bennet, Xiangling(any pyro carry will do), Nahida(any dendro will do), and Xingqiu. A few tips if you decide to use this team against the seahorse, benny hold E can actually deal multiple shield break ticks & and will also guarantee 3 particles. If you find that you're getting overloaded, Xingqiu E has interrupt resist to help with that. Just be careful not to trigger burn when you break his shield because that can mess up your xiangling burst vapes with xingqiu.
Having Nilou is guarenteeing a well damaging team with minimum investment. For Nilou slap all the hp and er pieces, for dendro in her team slap EM pieces. If u have at least one sub dps like yelan or xinquw then its gg.
Depends if it's because I play bad or brought a bad team, which is easily fixed, or because it's genuinely hard & I don't have time/energy to play seriously enough lol. Also depends if it's chamber 1 or 3, for the same reason. Usually over the span of 2 weeks I'll have time to clean it up but... I've also forgotten to do abyss entirely some cycles so there's that. 😅
Never happen to me, I reached the point where I could 36 stars on the first try while still have a whole ass minute left. But I seldom retry though, not to 36 stars but rather, to restart after my character died as Hoyo always change enemy’s AI and attack patterns to make people frustrated. so everything learn from overworld is almost pointless.
Zajeff saying characters aren't worth using if they aren't leveled high enough.. Meanwhile me: getting 36 stars with under-levelled characters.. (By under-levelled I mean in the 60s - 70s range. I have no lvl 90 character, and one lvl 80 Benny). So, I understand that having characters level 90 can make it easier / more comfortable, but to say they aren't worth using when they aren't leveled? I wouldn't go that far. If it's possible to beat the Abyss with under-levelled characters (and the Abyss is the "hardest content" we have in the game), I don't see why it would be "Necessary" to further level your characters in order to use them. (Though keep in mind I think my builds are pretty solid so that probably helps a lot).
I couldnt even finish floor 12 i only managed to do it once before. My team comps were xiangling national with kazuha and alhaitham kuki yelan nahida. Then neuvillette came along and bridged the gap of my skill issue. Now i have 36 star-ed everytime. Still want to be able to do it without neuvillette one day sigh. My talents are well levelled too its just i cant do it with a c1 xiangling her burst ends too quickly and i only recently c6-ed xingqui because of neuvillette banner..before he was c3 Also want to add on i still use my alhaitham team because hyperbloom is just stupid broken. Also my new team comp is neuvillette. an upgraded kazuha with 900 em (before was only 740) 9 9 10 talents. Raiden e. And then i lucked into getting an early pity c1 neuvillette trying to get fischl cons. So my last slot is a flex slot and i put xingqui whos purpose is nothing more than to do hydro resonance be a battery for neuvillette and make it easier to apply hydro consistentlu for kazuha swirl buff.
The Hyperbloom trigger (The one who is triggering the reaction) In Hyperbloom it's the electro unit as for Nilou Blooms you'll be wanting the 2nd hydro unit to trigger Bloom... So, that unit shall be running FLOP
I remember seeing a female streamer playing Techtone's account and can't clear floor 9 You can easily overcome a godly account with skill issue. I have no doubt that Zejef can easily get 36 stars on my account when I can only get 33 ever. (like he did in this video) I just want a comfy and easy game to explore, and don't even care about abyss any more...

The 4.0 abyss was also way easier than the previous cursed 3.5,6,7,8 abysses that's why this account had a much easier this time around.

@@weezlelay definitely, in fact for most accounts, Xiangling will be more useful than a Yoimiya, and similar usefulness as Hu Tao.

Something i can recommend is trying a Mono Pyro team against the Seahorse. You don't have to do the rest with it of course but i have my best cleartimes with Mono Pyro Klee (of course Klee isn't needed). All the Pyro does Help shredding the shield fast.
@@joe_simon I tried mono pyro and it worked for me, but I think only because i did it with my c6 Yanfei who has a shield, otherwise seahorse is really annoying if you have Bennett because it keeps Overloading you and knocking you back
@@lilacdragon17329Yeah. I never really had the issue because i broke the shield so fast and stun the boss and after that the boss died pretty early. But yeah i forgot about this.

I went for a burn-vape team with a pyro carry and it worked for me. Burn for the shield break then vape for the dps window. I used Bennet, Xiangling(any pyro carry will do), Nahida(any dendro will do), and Xingqiu. A few tips if you decide to use this team against the seahorse, benny hold E can actually deal multiple shield break ticks & and will also guarantee 3 particles. If you find that you're getting overloaded, Xingqiu E has interrupt resist to help with that. Just be careful not to trigger burn when you break his shield because that can mess up your xiangling burst vapes with xingqiu.

Having Nilou is guarenteeing a well damaging team with minimum investment. For Nilou slap all the hp and er pieces, for dendro in her team slap EM pieces. If u have at least one sub dps like yelan or xinquw then its gg.

I usually have 32,33 and its too bothersome to go again ... And i have a lot of heavily invested characters
Yeah back before i has optimal teams i would just settle for 33-35 and not stress over 50 primos
Depends if it's because I play bad or brought a bad team, which is easily fixed, or because it's genuinely hard & I don't have time/energy to play seriously enough lol.
Also depends if it's chamber 1 or 3, for the same reason. Usually over the span of 2 weeks I'll have time to clean it up but... I've also forgotten to do abyss entirely some cycles so there's that. 😅
Never happen to me, I reached the point where I could 36 stars on the first try while still have a whole ass minute left.
But I seldom retry though, not to 36 stars but rather, to restart after my character died as Hoyo always change enemy’s AI and attack patterns to make people frustrated. so everything learn from overworld is almost pointless.
Happened to me during the 3.7 abyss. Didn't touch Floor 12 again until 3.8 because I was that tilted lmao

Meanwhile me: getting 36 stars with under-levelled characters..
(By under-levelled I mean in the 60s - 70s range. I have no lvl 90 character, and one lvl 80 Benny).
So, I understand that having characters level 90 can make it easier / more comfortable, but to say they aren't worth using when they aren't leveled? I wouldn't go that far.
If it's possible to beat the Abyss with under-levelled characters (and the Abyss is the "hardest content" we have in the game), I don't see why it would be "Necessary" to further level your characters in order to use them.
(Though keep in mind I think my builds are pretty solid so that probably helps a lot).
I couldnt even finish floor 12 i only managed to do it once before. My team comps were xiangling national with kazuha and alhaitham kuki yelan nahida. Then neuvillette came along and bridged the gap of my skill issue. Now i have 36 star-ed everytime. Still want to be able to do it without neuvillette one day sigh.
My talents are well levelled too its just i cant do it with a c1 xiangling her burst ends too quickly and i only recently c6-ed xingqui because of neuvillette banner..before he was c3
Also want to add on i still use my alhaitham team because hyperbloom is just stupid broken. Also my new team comp is neuvillette. an upgraded kazuha with 900 em (before was only 740) 9 9 10 talents. Raiden e. And then i lucked into getting an early pity c1 neuvillette trying to get fischl cons. So my last slot is a flex slot and i put xingqui whos purpose is nothing more than to do hydro resonance be a battery for neuvillette and make it easier to apply hydro consistentlu for kazuha swirl buff.
