Hi Dave very informative that biocide will turn man made slate white...i guess natural slate would be fine.....can you clean clay and concrete tiles with hypo?
Im not sure why, maybe its because of the lead reacting or other surrounding materials with the hypo but its not recommended. With regards to the biocide turning the slats white what actually happened is that the surface coat has already come off the slat and the bio just removes the algae that's on them making them look whiter. It wouldn't turn new slats white as the surface coat is still on them
hi dave I hope you don't mind me asking a question but if I wanted to start window cleaning with the pump system in back of van and clean conservatorys could you please give me a list of the minimum set up poles etc chemicals shampoo to get started it would be much appreciated kind regards
Hi Steph Best thing to do is drop me an email with your number and I will give you a call and talk you through what you will need. squeakycleandave@gmail.com
Nice job Dave. Your right about the slate. The colour coating has already failed, so by biociding it would end up a white roof. Sometimes it's better to leave a roof moss free but still naturally weathered looking. 👍 Can I ask do you hire the scaffold tower, or did you purchase it? Best regards, Paudie
Good job Dave, quick question though?! Why would biocide affect man made slate? Gx pro or algoclear should only affect living organisms? I could be wrong mind, I’ve just never known it be an issue?
It doesn’t actually affect the slate. When the slate gets older a lot of the colour can come off so when you biocide it it kills anything on it that’s making it look darker
Highly satisfying Dave. Thanks for uploading ☘️
Thanks JD 👍
Great job Dave 👍🏻
Thanks Neil👍

Awesome job Dave and Sam , no need to go to the gym 💪💪
Definitely a good work out
Which is the best Gvs or streamline kit Dave?
Depends what you want from a scraper. Streamline is lighter. GVS is stronger and will last you for years
Good shout mate, saw a man made slate roof after SH had been applied at 3%, it was almost white.
Did you try a test patch on a weak bio solution?
Didn’t bother mate. Just told them what might happen and they were happy not to have it done

I hire it bud from a small local hire shop. I thought about buying one but it’s having space to store it
Another great video mate. Would love to get into this but unfortunately it's financially impossible at the moment. Maybe sometime in the future.

It can be good money but its defiantly hard work.

Ah I see, learn something new every day. Lol I’m still fairly new to the game so really appreciate the reply! Thanks Dave
Great job. Out of interest, how long does it take you to put up your tower in real time
Probably about 10 mins with 2 people
Is that your own tower or hire it? Looking at investing in one and that looks the business
I hired it. I haven’t got anywhere to store one
Thought I was seeing double with both poles going at the beginning 🤣 Nice job. Do you use the tarp as it's quicker to clean up at the end?
Most of the time yes
I think dat roof is the old aspestoes slate should be wearing masks b careful
did you ache for long afterwards?
A couple of day. thats why you have to get your pricing right.
@@squeakycleandave1 not a job youd want to be doing daily then?,at any price
🇮🇪
Nice job there you 2
Thanks bud
