Fanatics is shady . I'm on Marvin's side on this
The guy who runs fanatics is just a professional carnie game runner. He should be traveling with the carnival having you "step on up" to knock down some bottles or pop a balloon
Panini sadly isn't better. I can't speak on Upper Deck
@@ChiefGore429he sucks so bad. The little rich kid who buys his "friends". I really want him to go away, like far away from all sports.
Marvin lives in a millionaires home, no one else has that leverage, I get it but I think it’s a bit of a poor move to his colleagues
So true
Chinese bootleg sales about to go nuts.
They will either way
They are literally made in china

Fanatics and Rubin are the worst thing in sports
They are powerful people, that makes huge amounts of money
Who is Rubin?
@@khalidogilbee1540Mike Rubin the biggest share holder/owner of fanatics, owner of the sixers and the guy that throws those creepy all white party
@@khalidogilbee1540 he know artist, singers, actors, nfl players, NBA players and mlb players and a lot of other connections, the dude is a billionaire and the guys that are around by are all rich and powerful people. He is that guy that could get you in huge troubles.
@@africasupreme3 he is one of the most powerful guy on the collecting hobby plus he got a lot of powerful people behind, dude have more connections than a plumber
He signed nothing = they have no case.
Unless he's somehow on the take, the judge should throw this whole thing and make Fanatics pays MHJ's lawyers fees.
When you sign with a company to represent you, they can then make deals on your behalf. If they made a deal with Fanatics, then he is a dishonest piece of trash trying to screw two companies over.

Screw Fanatics. Not only are they trying to rip off college athlete he’s but they’re also ripping fans off with low quality merch. Just look up how bad MLB jerseys are this year.
The Super Bowl jersey was horrible last year.
jerseys aren't fanatic's fault, it's nike's fault as they were the jersey makers for many years till this point so can't fault them for it
Yeah i hate fanatics as much as the next guy and their jerseys do suck. But they made those nike jerseys according to directions directly from nike. Nike admitted as such.
Dude fanatics is THE WORST. Such piss poor quality
You're right. I recently purchased a "jersey" from them.. It had a printed on name label.. Not the stitched on label like all the rest I've purchased
“Kyler Murray is already proven” is a WILD statement😂😂😂 dude is too busy playing cod to even be able to read a defense.
Only thing proven about Kyler Murray is that he can’t see over his own oline 😂
NO, him saying Murray is UNDER PAID is the wildest statement
Marvin Harrison Jr looks like when japanese anime draws a black guy
Which is kinda cool in a way 😂 life imitating art lol
Well I mean Japanese anime looks like a cartoon depiction of a real life black person..
😂
So accurate then?
That’s crazy how true this is 😂. If you know you know
His father is really smart. Taught his son well now they hate on him😂
Sooo you didn't hear where the dad agreed in the name of his son and company ??
His father has a “history” , google it
@@TheWheelsOnTheRideGo
It’s called being the agent of an LLC and the agents has the right to sign and conduct business on behalf of the LLC
Again his dad ain’t a dummy lol
They did business with his dad not jr.
He is pretty smart considering he got away with Murder in Philadelphia.
Like how to get away with murder
His dad is also a stone cold killer 😂
Self defense
He actually dropped a body and 100 yards in a NFL game in the same day. . .
he gave 12 warning shot to the back of his head
@@Roy_Al_Blak202Right? That's what they want you to think.
We're terrible lol I said the same thing 😂 SMH
Harrison isn't as desperate for money as most rookies ! He made millions in NIL in college and he grew up with Marvin Harrison being his dad I'm sure he grew up pretty good
He did, we played for the same little league team in Philly he’s just 5years younger than me so he was on the younger team.
Kyler is more upset about him not being in Madden.
LOL
wow so original and he's in the game btw
@@CardsMurderMyEmotions Is he "Rookie WR18" in the game? I know that was how they used to handle those without naming rights.
@@mikem6166 no, his full name, number and player likeness is all in the game 😂
I hope he never signs a deal with fanatics after they decided to pursue legal action 😂
I think he won’t sign it he has money already and his father does too
Fanatics is trying to monopolize the sports industry. So yeah, not a fan.
Yep, don’t blame him
Every time someone stands up there is always a problem
Fanatics can f off. Marvin Harrison Jr has ALL the leverage in this situation.
As for me this is an easy one. As a Buckeye and a person who is pro collegiate athletes, I am team Harrison 100%. No matter how this turns out I won’t be buying a single product from Fanatics moving forward, and I have done tons of business with them over the past 15 years. I will either buy my memorabilia elsewhere or do without.
I'm not a Cards fan, but if Harrison comes out with his own jersey, I might just buy one because I am loving his stance on this.
Marvin Harrison Jr is a legend already. Amazing stance for future players because that agreement has long time been predatory
Jr. is doing what is best for himself. Good for him
MHJ side... all these kids are getting ripped off...
Kids? Ripped off? Lol. They are men making millions of dollars playing a kids game
Cant you just pay the extra 40 bucks or whatever for custom Jersey, and just slap Harrison Jr. on the back in the website?
I hate that if I want an NFL jersey I have to go through these piranhas called Fanatics. They are monopolizing the market on official NFL products, and it's ludicrous how badly they exploit young players. I hope MHJ prevails in litigation, and jeopardizes Fanatics license agreement with the NFL.
Why in the world would you sign a kid to a NIL deal without getting something back when they become professionals? That's the whole point. It's not charity, it's a business investment.
I imagine once MHJ strikes his deal, fanatics will charge a premium to cover the cost. However it shakes out, the consumer will bare the burden
I’m telling you right now if Caleb Williams would’ve did the same thing that Marvin Harrison Jr is doing right now, people would lose their minds 😂💯
caleb williams tried to negotiate for shares of the team. i think thats worse. harrison jr is fighting for the rights of his name. which is completely understandable
Williams is going to be a massive dud
Williams is not Marvin Marvins a sure thing Williams is all but a sure bust😂 remember his own teammate said don’t bring the Hollywood shit to the NFL😂
@@johneadoe6846 you just prove my point exactly bias asf 🤷🏾♂️💯
@@JonSimon-l9s bias asf 🤷🏾♂️💯
Fanatics already said that he didn't sign the PA, so whether it's predatory or not (I firmly believe it is), is irrelevant! They can't sign him for breach of an unsigned contract. Period. End of story!
No it's not. Did you skip the part where the LLC that he is apart of signed it. Plus the website the LLC is under is selling his stuff because HE is apart of it. If a company signs for something and you are that company you have signed it. That's how it works and most people understand that. This and the Pat McAfee show are the only ones who don't get that.
@@ryerob4815
You don’t know that he is apart of that LLC because members of the LLC are private.. his dad is the agent of the LLC and as agent he can conduct business on behalf of the company…
Just because it has his name on it doesn’t necessarily mean he even an owner ctfu there a difference between Marvin Harrison jr and Marvin Harrison jr the collective… it’s not their fault they didn’t dye their due diligence
@Lone_BrotherinChrist
No he the a managing partner and probably the agent on file with
“Marvin Harrison jr the collective”
They should did the agreeement with jr himself and not the LLC… 😂
@@ryerob4815 Now they would need to prove he is part of the LLC, and he has said he isn't.
@Lone_BrotherinChrist That's on the dad and potentially the LLC that actually SIGNED the contract, not him personally
Kyler not sweating it lol
You go Marvin. Stand up to those type of companies. I don't buy anything from them to represent my teams. I make my own stuff. The NFL is messed up in so many ways and the sharks swim around it trying to cash in. Disgusting.
Fanatics can kick rocks
“The situation just got worse” man’s doing his best more pegasus impression lol
MHJ can act differently than other players since he never needed to worry about money. Most college players have an uncertain future with their hopes and dreams of a lucrative career riding on their potential success in the NFL. MHJ knew he would be drafted due to his performance at the college level and didn't need to be concerned about money since his father is a multimillionaire NFL Hall of Famer. There was no reason for MHJ to sign his rights away like other guys who are struggling to make it to the next level because he grew up with money, pedigree, and plenty of talent that others were never guaranteed like MHJ was.
Make a custom jersey with his name. Problem solved for the fan lol
I ordered a hat from fanatics , it never arrived
So the company that makes predatory deals complains that he was smart enough to avoid a contract
The real reason they sued him is so that he cant negotiate a merch deal with someone else. If Fanatics is claiming his rights no one would willingly produce jerseys out of fear of being sued themselves. I think the long play is that fanatics hopes the NFL/NFLPA will force him to come to terms and get in him line (which is crazy)
Bro they spinned fanatics so bad they got them suing a 22 yo 😭
Everything single item i’ve purchased that was made by fanatics has fallen apart in less than a year….
It’s super hard to think he knows what he’s doing when he’s fucking this situation up bad
This is why BTJ is my favorite "Uglahh rookie WR" this year.
Tell me how this isn't a known predatory company trying to exploit a famous young athlete
Mr Beast's 'situtation' is completely different in case you haven't heard. He knowingly employed someone who SA-ed a 1-11 year old, on top of being verbally and physically abuse toward his employees
Its kind of hilarious to me that ppl were calling both MHJ and caleb williams selfish when all either of them was trying to do was get the most value for what theyre bringing to their respective teams and the league in general. Every person should be doing the same thing at their place of work
Enjoy your vacation, Mike! We’ll be here when you’re refreshed
I support anybody holding out to get what their worth, rather than volunteer to be the next victim
Yeaaaa this ain’t controversy this is business 🤷🏽♂️
Marvin jr opening up the business for rookies take notes
Sounds like Fanatics fucked up. But I'm no lawyer.
Thanks for clarifying all this up. Great video!!!!
His dad gave him the game! Idk why fanatics thought he was gonna let his son get finessed by them 😂😂
It's great to see these shady companies getting exposed for taking advantage of student athletes. Now with NIL more of this will happen and money will start going where it belongs to the athletes that deserve it.
Correction: The Fanatics situation just got worse. Marv has been looking fantastic in preseason.
I cant take more bad news as a Cardinals fan...im gonna fkn lose it!
Big props to you for giving Kyler that "somewhat proven" statement.
I am on the side of Harrison Jr because Fanatics has NO legal case to sue him what so ever because of no contract being signed.
Great that he listened to his father🤣🤣🤣
What do they mean by term sheet? When I hear that I think they've negotiated the terms for a potential deal, but haven't necessarily inked the actual contract yet. It's like when you hear that two parties have negotiated the framework for a deal or that they have an agreement in principle. If that's what this is, that's not legally binding. Additionally, when multiple parties are interested in doing business wirh someone, it's common practice to use their competitors offers as part of the negotiations.
That blouse is diabolical work Mike
@2:35 dude there has been more examples of sons following there fathers with accolades like that and more to come. Shadeur and Shilo dad is one of those coming. But Howie Long was a pretty damn good DE and so was his son Chris Long. Howie multi sb champion with the raiders and an all pro DL man. Had multi years with 10plus sacks and finished his career with 80.5 sacks. Smh yall YT guys don’t really study the game for real
Forgetting about the anchor of the Bears oline for nearly a decade in Kyle Long too. Doesn’t have the awards but he was consistent
Kyle Long was pretty good for being on the bears oline most of his career
I watch Mike like it’s TV. He’s my “First Take”. It’s a shame bro still hasn’t hit a mil yet
No way the Chargers would have passed up on. Marvin if he was Available.
After watching the video of Rubin making Meek Mill bunny hop and “hood dude” Meek Mill doing it I’m for any athlete or celebrity that tells the dude and his company to go fly. Marvin Harrison Sr even said “my son didn’t sign anything.” So where’s the lawsuit? This is like child stars parents handling their kids business until the kids turn 18-21 and want to do things for themselves and do it do it differently.
You explained this better than anyone did. I thought Jr signed but it seems his father signed, but need Sr to speak up
I typically side with the players in these instances. This one is no different. Hate to see people try to take advantage of others, so I hope Marvin wins
I worked for a call center that did contract work for fanatics and I watched first hand at what a shady company they are after we worked our tails off for them during their peak season and then they refused to pay us which cost many people their job.
If someone takes issue with you because you know how things are SUPPOSED to work, that’s a red flag
It’s good he’s maximizing his value but his dad can’t sign contracts with people who think that he represents MHJ’s interests-
"think" you have a deal and having a deal are 2 different things. if fanatics didnt do their due dilligence that is on them. they dont get to claim a term sheet is a contract IF he didnt sign it.
@@ogieoglethorpe3788 we don’t know the specifics of how it all played out. I’m sure this will come out it in court. It could have been a lack of due diligence or there could have been misrepresentation by the other side. And contracts can be implied based on the conduct of both parties, and other claims are possible even if a contract is not found to exist. Sounds like both sides may have made some mistakes.
All fun and games until they somehow blacklist him and give him the Kapperpick treatment
Except that Kap asked for it so theres that.. that dude was 🗑️🤡
Sounds like paperwork will determine results.
One great player vs multi billionaires, we all know how this is going to end up.
How? Please explain?
You mean one ego ridden kid with an ego ridden dad who knows nothing about the law profession. They could use a real lawyer, but no the dad's got an ego so big he thinks he can do it when in fact he probably can't.
The 4 yr college contract is smart business by Fanatics. That said I do hope the gamble works out for Harrison Jr.
6:12 😂😂😂 bruh
Big ups my guy
Love your video, Mike, and keep up the great work you are awesome
As an az fan I can’t wait to buy Marvin Harrison jr Jersey after his first touchdown catch
I told everyone, but everyone said was ok , blah blah blah. There you go!

I hope Harrison Jr can embarrass them and break their monopoly on fan's passion.

This looks shady from his dad to have signed a contract without his consent
I don’t think anybody is on Fanatics side. Overall quality of their products is no where near what jerseys used to be.
Why do I keep getting updates for a thing that “got worse “ that’s been horrible for a year now ? No uodate update I got me

I went to a state school so Im kinda stupid but no contract still means no provenance, right?
You Should Be Able To Custimize a Cardinals Jersey
All of those organizations should just act as if he does not exist. IT will cost him in the long run.

**disgusting you meant. .Mr beast is a weirdo and Kris is 😈 and I'm pist as a father. So I agree..cover it. But not for entertainment
I feel like Mine is particularly suited to sum the whole thing up into something that I would understand
I am for Harrison Jr. Fanatics makes so much money undercutting athletes on their name and likeness rights. This is why they come after them as a sophomore they have shown some promise but aren't superstars yet. Currently signed cards go for 500-1000 dollars for MHJ. If he has signed a deal like fanatics has done to other players, he'd be getting paid maybe 10 to 15 dollars per signature possibly even less ler signature. This is why fanatics is so mad they know they would be making a ton of money while only paying the player pennies in comparison. Hopefully, other players coming into college learn to hold off as long as possible if they can. I know some players aren't in the same position. MHJ is financially and want to help the family as quickly as possible, but maybe this can show them not to sign for so cheap.
Fanatics provides a platform and exposure that many athletes wouldn't get on their own. By signing early, players like MHJ can start building their brand and fan base, which can lead to more lucrative deals down the line. Plus, not every athlete has the luxury to wait for a better deal they need to secure financial stability for themselves and their families as soon as possible. It's a trade-off between immediate income and potential future earnings, and for many, that immediate support is crucial. the $10-15 per signature figure may be a misleading representation of the total compensation athletes receive from Fanatics. The company may offer additional forms of compensation, such as guaranteed minimum payments, royalties, or other incentives, that can increase the athlete's overall earnings. While it's true that the company may be making more money from Harrison Jr.'s signed cards than he is, this is a common dynamic in many industries, where companies invest in and profit from the work and talent of individuals
marvin harrison was 99 overall in madden 04, those colts franchises went crazy!
As a niners fan, this man scares me! What a hell of a player he’s going to be
This is a Michael Jordan type move. Bringing the power back to the individual player
Love the videos
That’s smart on jr doing this. His dad is a great business man and I hope other athletes follow his lead to get their max worth.
Notice how its all about the money now, not about football?
I been here for 5 Madden Giveaways and have watched ever video you have ever put out and still I have never won.....
Work for a sports store that deals primarily with Fanatics, I fully stand with MHJ. Fanatics is an AWFUL company trying to monopolize American sports along with Nike, who owns Fanatics lmao. Someone needed to stick it to em.
If it wasn’t for those big companies these dudes wouldn’t be getting the money they are getting. Those companies are the reason they able to sign 100 million dollar contracts
