For a long time I've seen Destiny as a story about our journey through life, the struggles we face to grow, the paths we all cross trying to find our way, and the memories we make and hold until that shared end. There is something really beautiful about how this video encapsulates that idea. This is your path, and in all the pictures of menus and gear, things that blur together, we also get vivid glimpses of your triumphs in raids, moments doing photoshoots with handcannons, or just sitting in the tower with friends. And thats just life, right? Among all the pain and drudgery and busy work and uncertainty about where we're going, we're always creating small memories together. And in forming those memories, we *do* eventually find our way to a better fate that we make, together
Maybe I am feeling nostalgic but, aside from all the trials images, this is my favorite music to Destiny video so far. It is like an MK Ultra vid that brings back memories and returns you to who you were. Edit, the music choices and transitions were beautiful. I would have watched the entire length of lullaby.
I'm going to tell my kids about my jurney with this game because what we all experienced with this game throughout these 10 years, the people we met and great time we had is something special
My greatest hope for Destiny has always been that someday, Bungie will rebuild a sort of Golden Path from Destiny 1 through to now. I want this whole story and world to be something I can introduce to friends and family for the rest of my life, because the journey from Cosmodrome all the way to the Pale Heart has been a powerful one
Shouldve ended it with the final scene of your guardian sitting and looking out at the traveler with the portal after defeating the witness (fantastic vid btw)
I still remember the first week when D1 came out. My older brother bought the game to show my parents it wasn't graphic, but while he was showing them I was watching through the crack of the door (until I shit my pants when that dreg jumps from the wall (I was 8)). I remember when I first made it to the tower. I remember my first legendary engram. I remember my first Vanguard Mission. I remember my first VOG raid (I was carried by my older brother 2 years after I started playing🤣). I remember getting the Gjallarhorn. I remember waking up on Christmas morning to my brother farming thralls for the Necrochasm. I remember my first-time sword soloing Crota. I remember the first time I climbed that tree in the tower. I remember my first exotic engram. I remember grinding for strange coins. I remember struggling to be at the same level as everyone since my 12-year-old self couldn't afford DLCs. I remember the sound of sitting in orbit for hours whilst almost falling asleep when I should be doing school homework. I remember when the max level was 40.......... I remember it all, even when I play it to this day, as an 18-year-old university student :'). This game holds so many of my core life memories, and I love every bit. I Love all of you, because I know that there is a little piece of all of us that is the same
@@cyndaquil_redrix186 The simple answer is because D1 had roughly 900+ screenshots, D2 had over 3400 and I had to speed it up to keep it in a acceptable timeframe (not the best solution, but it worked out somewhat)
