      Because if we like or love someone, or have a symphathy for someone, we don't want to put any meaning to the signs or just ignore them. If the person is someone we don't like, we start to suspect and blame the person maybe even without a proper reason. There was a guy that we knew in our city and everybody liked him even when he was living a suspicious life, we did hang out at his apartment and spent a good time with him but the guy was suspicious and as i said nobody put a meaning to that because everybody liked him. The guy turned up to be monster and he ended up in prison. It was shock to everybody but at the same time it wasn’t a surprise because the guy was giving obvious signs but nobody wanted to care about the signs because the guy was cool, decent working man with nice hobbies.

      No literally! It’s just so strange watching him show love and affection for a cat when he’s done so much brutal things with those hands. • @mrblonde609
      @mrblonde609 2 роки тому +30

      @@chrispybattyone5937 No he did not! He did his own interpretation, but as you can clearly see here in this video: Dahmer was able to socialize, wasn't weird 24/7, had some charme, affection and wasn't as stiff and monotonous as portrayed in the show. He looked the part, okay? But he just played Dahmer as a weirdo 24/7 who wasn't capable of blending in, which is of course complete nonsense. Dahmer also was talking way faster. The show portrayed Dahmer as a robot, which is fine, since he was a pos. But Peters didn't nailed the role in it's entirety. Was he creepy and dangerous? Of course! In every second. And he was great in that sense, but it's just not accurate as you can tell by this video. If you meet a person like Dahmer from the show in real life you would absolutely expect him to be a serial killer, but if someone behaves like Dahmer in this video you absoultely couldn't tell. And that's the difference.

Her online obituary states that she had three sons. I’m wondering if the small boy could have been Eunice’s youngest son?
      Also, seeing as Shari is being referred to as “Aunt Shari”, it is also plausible that the young boy might be from her family if it’s not Eunice’s son. I found via ancestry and the 1950 census that Shari has about three younger brothers who may have had children of their own and considered Jeffrey as a cousin…

    “On Thanksgiving Day, 1990, Shari and I drove up to West Allis to spend the weekend with my mother. Jeff was scheduled to join us there, but he was very late. While we waited, I took out the video camera and filmed a short conversation with my mother. When it was over, she took me on a tour of the house, smiling a little shyly as the camera recorded her progress. She pointed out various rooms, then led me down into the basement. While she spoke, I let the camera pan along the far walls, past shelves of stored goods, and even a door beneath the stairs, one which was still as tightly closed as it had been months before when I had gone down into the basement to search for some clue as to the strange odors that had been continually rising into the main house. There were no odors that day. There had been no odors for quite some time. They had gone with Jeff.
    Jeff arrived toward the middle of Saturday afternoon. He was dressed very neatly, his hair freshly combed. He wore large glasses, and a cloth jacket which he refused to take off even though the house was very warm. ‘No, no, I’ll just leave it on’, he kept saying, ‘I’ll have to go out for a smoke soon anyway.’
    I took up the camera again, and made a videotape of my son. Through the lens I saw a handsome young man who slouched in the large stuffed chair only a few feet from me.
    He smiled several times and talked about his newfound interest in aquarium fish. He answered my questions politely, and at one point, even got down on the floor and played with my mother’s orange tabby. He seemed to have his life under control.
    Now, when I look at that video, I see much more than I could possibly have seen before. In the chair, Jeff sits with one leg over the other, a single foot dangling in midair. At each mention of his apartment, his foot twitches slightly. With each mention that i or someone else in the family may drop by to pay him a visit, it twitches. With each mention of what he’s doing now, of how his job is going, of what he does in his spare time- it twitches. Something in his distant, half-dead gaze says, ‘if you only knew’.”

      Before reading your comment I didn’t even notice the twitching, although overall he does seem like a nervous/uncomfortable person.
      After reading this, so odd how his body reacts during certain questions like “what have you been doing lately?” and during mentions of him “cleaning up” his apartment.

    In his father’s book, he points out how after he knew what Jeffrey did, he noticed how nervous he seemed. Anytime they mention his apartment or what he’s been up to, he shifts uncomfortable and his foot moves. I didn’t notice this until after I read this part, but you can clearly see how any mention of his apartment or personal life makes him uncomfortable or awkward knowing what he’s done.

    This is so eerie and oddly moving to watch. One of the most iconic and vicious cannibalistic serial killers in history, and here he is just chilling with his family, hanging out in a living room for what looks like a Thanksgiving get-together. It's a haunting reminder that, for all the pain he caused to 17 young men and their families, Jeff was also a human being himself, capable of sitting in a room with his loved ones and carrying on a mundane, "I've been surviving off McDonald's" conversation.

To be sitting next to a person like him being so calm and "nice" but not knowing he had drugged, raped murdered and ate his victims is bizarre. A lot of serial killers just tend to look like ordinary people, being with family and having regular jobs. They just want to blend in with the crowd so people don't know what and who they truly are. It's scary seeing him get along with his family members in this footage, knowing what's happened. Seeing the new jeffrey dahmer Netflix series made it like he was back alive. Evan Peter's played him so well to his voice, to his awkward mannerisms, and portrayed such an evil person that once walked on this earth. You can tell Lionel was a great father and tried to bond with his son any way he knew how. Unfortunately Jeffrey’s hobbies ended up being more morbid than innocent. I feel the medication his mother was on while pregnant contributed to his pathological issues. If you look at the Nick Cruz case, his mother took illigal street drugs and also become a murderer. Not that everyone who is exposed to drugs in the wound would end up with psychological issues but I think in certain cases it could. What do you think?

    • @blueshoes5145
      @blueshoes5145 2 роки тому +7

      The drugs can definitely do some damage but then again their younger son came out fine. But I believe there may be some undiagnosed damage to the second son. He may not be a serial killer but he wouldn’t be as healthy minded as he could have been. If that makes sense.
      They also touched on the part where his dad had some violent thoughts when younger, which he explained sorrowfully. But he never acted on those thoughts. This could explain the genes part. Usually genes need to be passed for people who show antisocial personality from a young age.

      It didn't have shyt to do with hìs mom medication. This evil monster opened himself up to being demon possessed through obsessing about having dominant sex with men

      He tried to bond with him doing an activity that made him have those “thoughts” how is he a great father he abandoned him. Jeffery tried to tell him about his fantasies, but the dad didn’t want to listen at all. Another reason why the mother didn’t want to stay the father had communication issues.

    • @Robbob273
      @Robbob273 2 роки тому +9

      @@Mysincerehairllc I believe he was a good father. I would imagine at the least the there is a child in your life that is into things that not all kids are before forming that opinion? He did what he could to bond with a child who had bizarre interests. Who believes their child is going to be a murderer? Especially back then. I didn’t say he was perfect. People have faults, lots of fathers including my own had a period of being absent. I still believe that my father was a good father. And as far as listening to what he was going through, this is because Lionel was a devout Christian who knew his son was gay and he didn’t want to hear it because of the way he felt about homosexuality. He cared about his son though and the mother seemed awful, while the father at the least tried his best.

      You’ve got a few things wrong. Jeffries mother was on prescription medication not street stuff.
      Lionel was mostly responsible for Jeffery.
      His father ignored all the red flags.
      Ignored him as a whole.
      Swept everything under the rug.
      A lot could have been avoided if Lionel didn’t want to just “not hear about it”.
